John had seemed very nice and professional over the phone/zoom. However, a couple of weeks before our wedding he informed us that he was having surgery and would have to have anoth...
er guy be the DJ for our wedding. We met with the new guy over zoom and he seemed nice, but informed us that he only really does Casinos. During the ceremony, our officiant was mic'd, however absolutely no one could hear him, and we could not hear the music during the ceremony either. During the reception the music was okay, but during the dancing portion, he kept playing songs that were not part of the playlist I asked him to play from and then he stopped the music 30 minutes earlier than we had agreed upon. On top of that, he referred to me with my husbands last name, which I am not taking, and we had informed everyone of this. I felt for the man, as he was quite stressed during the event and apologized for the technical difficulties during the ceremony. I reassured him after the ceremony and he truly felt bad, but ultimately it was my wedding day and not what we had paid for and after the issues with the reception I felt even more compelled to leave a review to warn other people. Along with these issues was the photographer that John told us we could get for a 'discount' if we went with him (Doug Melvin). I wrote a review about his services on the knot as well if you want to check that out. Overall, the DJ and Photography services were not worth the 3,350 we spent. I honestly would have preferred to use a speaker and a playlist.
We hired this company for our July 2025 wedding and had a great experience. While we were originally scheduled to have John as our DJ/MC, we ended up working with Will Smith instea...
d —and he was great!
Their system for gathering information ahead of the wedding made everything super easy. We were able to share must-play songs, custom playlists, and announcements for the night. On the day of the wedding, Will followed everything we gave him to a T. I had a very specific request to play certain songs in a specific order leading up to our ceremony processional, and he nailed it! He also played all the songs from our curated playlists throughout the night, just as we asked.
Our guests had a blast and really enjoyed the music. Will was great about taking song requests and double-checking with us to make sure everything was okay to play.
We highly recommend this company to any couple looking for a fun, flexible, and reliable DJ. Thank you for being such an important part of our special day!
He was alright, but we found it odd that all songs we asked to be played were mainly played in one block, and not worked in throughout the night. He seemed set on having his own "f...
low" of songs for the reception, so all of our songs were just thrown in to start the dancing portion. This felt like the flow of music was worse off. When you suggest songs, you hope the DJ has an understanding of them and when to work them in, but maybe we expected too much. He's a nice guy and if you want to just rely on the songs he has picked out, you'll be fine
Me and my husband just got married.. We had Will as our DJ. we weren’t a huge fan as 45 minutes before I walked down the aisle he was asking for my music I was walking down to. Ver...
y microphone heavy and did not transition into things smoothly. Had to keep telling him to skip songs and what songs to play as the dance floor was pretty bare. Gave him a list of songs to must play when we met with him and those songs were not played. Felt most of my night was worrying about what songs he was playing and to make sure everyone was having fun/engaged.
My husband I were very displeased with all of the services we received from this company. We went with them because it appeared they provided the best services for the best price. ...
Little did we know that was because of deceptive pricing. We were charged for a speaker that to my knowledge wasn’t used because we did not use the rain location. It was very off-putting and unprofessional for the owner to ask for his tip before providing his services as well.
Our issues with the photo booth guy provided by John are also numerous. When the photo booth was open there were many times that he was nowhere to be found and there was just a line of people waiting. On the photo strips, June was spelled Juine. A good bit of the photos were blurred or didn’t have people in them.
We then come to the video. In the paperwork we filled out and the owner and I went over, there was a section about who was to be interviewed. John and I talked about it and you took notes. No one was interviewed in the video. When I talked with Doug, he told me he would contact me to get a song to use in the video. He did not, a song was just chosen. Doug told me it would be 6 to 8 weeks after the wedding that I would have the video. When I emailed to check at 10 weeks, he said he got behind because of the holiday. Nowhere in the contract or the conversation was there any mention of delays for holidays. To make it worse, Doug lied twice in the email. He said that it was only 8 weeks after the wedding, which basic math and a quick Google search disprove. He also said the video would be complete the next week. When the following week came and went, I looked at the contract I signed and it said 2 DVDs would be delivered 8 to 12 weeks after the wedding. When 12 weeks came and it was now a full month after Doug said I would get the video, I emailed the owner again. We finally got links to videos a week later. Nowhere in these videos were there any interviews. The videos have all kinds of shaky scenes. There are only a few seconds of the father-daughter dance included in the montage, none in the reception video. Doug said the whole reception would be captured and it obviously was not as the dance lasted a lot longer than 3 to 5 seconds.
There are not words to describe how much we do NOT recommend this company to anyone.
We sent these complaints to the owner over a month ago without any response. He does not care about making anything right. He only cares about getting your money.
John is a great DJ! He held the day together really well. I never realized how much coordinating DJs do on top of the actual music management. We were behind schedule for a fair am...
ount of the wedding (pictures took longer than we thought) and he made sure we got to do everything we wanted. It was obvious he was on top of it, so I didn't feel like I needed to stress. We really appreciate him!
Incredibly disappointed with my experience. My wedding video was absolutely horrible quality (keep in mind this how amazing technology is today) and I am so extremely upset with my...
experience. The most upsetting part is I sent him a video of EXACTLY what I wanted. When we first met, my mom immediately had a pit in her stomach, but I tried to see the best in John and his crew. Well let me tell you, moms always know what is best and I wish I would have listened to her. We paid over 2500 for a videographer and were never offered a refund despite explaining EXACTLY what we wanted, sending videos, creating a timeline, etc. To be honest, I was more excited about the videographer than having a photographer and I NEVER get to have the video I wished for. My mom noticed John constantly referring to the money side and never felt like he actually listened or respected what we wanted. Congratulations, you robbed brand new college graduates of 2500 we can never get back. John will talk your ear off about how strong of a Christian is, yet he is extremely shallow and fake. I am so embarrassed of the video, I will never show it to anyone and I am so sad I will never get the video I dreamt of since I got engaged. If you would like to see just how crappy this company is, I am happy to send you the video. Please don't make the same mistake I did.
John and his crew were AMAZING, to say the least! John had everything mapped out for us and what we needed to know and give to him! Not a single thing went wrong that night when it...
came to our music and photo booth! John is very "outgoing" and kept tons of people out on the dance floor until the very last song without even telling them to go out there! That's how awesome the music was! He played all of our "Must Play" list, and even threw in some of our other favorites that we didnt even tell him about. It was like he knew what kind of music we love to listen to! And the photo booth was a HUGE hit! We will forever have the scrapbook of everyone's crazy pictures to remember and laugh at for the rest of our lives! Thank you so much again John and Crew!
We had a great first meeting with John and got our “workbook” to help us plan the specific songs we would need - loved having that packet! We felt John was a perfect fit for our we...
dding. Turns out we misunderstood and John was not to be our DJ. We were apprehensive going into the wedding day, but Tom was outstanding and proved we had no reason to worry. The reception flowed smoothly and he did his best to play everyone’s requests. Thank you for such a memorable night!
John did an amazing job with the music for our ceremony and reception! He was extremely helpful in creating the timeline for big day! We were very happy in deciding to use John an...

John was amazing!! Sound was very clear, photobooth was a hit also! He nailed everything and we had some pretty specific song requests and he was amazing. Would book him again!!!

we were on track with the schedule the day of our wedding. He was also great in accommodating to a lot of our requests for unique songs and great with our guests on getting song requests. Would highly recommend him for future weddings.
We had John DJ and Emcee our wedding reception on May 5, 2018. We met with him a couple of times to plan the event. The first meeting was to get to know him and decide whether or n...
ot to use him. Our photographer, Moments Into Memories, recommended him. After hiring John, we met a second time to go over our music choices, type of music we wanted, and how he would conduct the evening - as emcee, encouraging folks to dance, announcing our entrance, our first dance, etc. He was absolutely wonderful. The mix of music we wanted, we got. He was professional all the way. We could not have been more pleased. Our guests had the best time. And so did we. It was nice not having to worry about anything that night.
We booked the DJ and Photo Booth services for our wedding in October. Everyone at our wedding had a great time on the dance floor. John, our DJ, was very helpful in planning and or...
ganizing the types of songs we wanted and made the night come alive. He played every song we had requested! He was also very helpful with coordinating the night and made sure we were able to get through all of the events in a timely manner (bouquet toss, cake cutting, mother-son/father-daughter dances, etc.) We even asked him to stay another hour last minute and he was agreeable. The Photo Booth was also a hit! We had the open air green screen and everyone had a lot of fun with the backgrounds and props. We also were able to receive a flash drive of all of the photos, along with a scrap book with each photo taken. I would definitely recommend!
John was professional and great the day of the wedding. We had a band along with John. The transition between the two was seamless.
Thank you for a great reception.
I booked my photo booth services with this company and worked with John on the planning. He gave us a very affordable price, however he did not notify us of an 18% gratuity until t...
he week before our wedding that we either needed to pay then with a card or give to them on our wedding day. The person who was running the booth also did not notice that there were children coloring all over the pages in our scrapbook that served as our guestbook that guests were supposed to put their pictures in and add a note to go along with their picture. I wish she would have said something to them so their wouldn't be scribbles on pages within our guestbook. However, even though I did not get to personally use the photo booth on our wedding day, from what I could see it looked like the guests had a great time using it and the pictures are very entertaining to go through! I am very glad I decided to go the photo booth route with our guestbook.
We also used the photo booth and had a great time! A lot of our guests were shy, but I have wonderful pictures of the attendants playing around and getting into the whole spirit of...
the wedding. The two ladies working the booth were magical and kept it light and fun so I wasn't worried if people were having a good time!! And Again, Jeff Lang was amazing, when we had our photographer quit unexpectedly on us, he rallied and was able to put us in touch with another photographer thru a friend that SAME DAY. I mean really, how amazing is that?
We booked the open air photo booth for our wedding, and it was a big hit! Everyone of our guests seemed to get a picture in the booth. The props were awesome, and vendor was reason...
ably priced and very professional.
We met John based on a recommendation from Brian at Moments Into Memories Photography! We liked John so much, we hired him to be our master of ceremonies, DJ, and photo booth. We ...
were nervous about the flow and how everyone including us would know were to be and on time! John took that and removed all doubt. A few weeks before the wedding we sat down and he developed a timeline. We had an idea of how things should go but, with John’s experience and expert opinion he laid it all out for us. On the wedding day, everything went according to plan. If we got off track a little bit John would handle it and go with the flow or get our attention and let us know what was coming up so, we could do everything we had set out to do. The music was perfect and engaging for all ages. The photo booth was an amazing hit! We chose to do the green screen option so our guests could choose what background they wanted. Instead of receiving a little strip of pictures they all got 4x6 prints! Thank you so much Brian and Fiesta Sounds for making our day a day to remember!!
John was a great D.J. and M.C. for our wedding on 9/25/2016. We also opted for the photo booth that John’s event company provides and everybody loved it. John was prompt and very...
responsive to the emails that I sent to him. He was available for addition meetings when we needed to catch up on scheduling of song selection. At the last minute we needed John to provide the music for the ceremony because the musician we requested cancelled on us. Thanks to John the ceremony went on with out any issue. At the reception John joined in during line dancing to give the crowd some quick lessons. John also played all the whole list of songs we gave him. I recommend John for all of the services he offers through his event management service company.
In looking for a DJ, we didn't know where to start looking, so we went with a referral from our photographer. After meeting with John, we both liked his personality, so we booked h...
im. Great choice. Through the planning process, John offered pointers and suggestions while leaving room for us to have our own input. From the introductions to the music through the night, he did a fantastic job. He's got a good DJ voice and kept the crowd in the know without overtalking. Just a great evening, and John played a big role in it. I would highly recommend him!
We highly recommend Fiesta Sounds as a DJ service for your wedding. WE had Zac DJ our wedding and he was fantastic! He basically coordinated our entire reception. Half of my hop...
efully soon to be engaged friends want him to DJ their future weddings. He was a big hit and we are truly grateful for him. There's nothing this guy and not do. John was also fantastic to work with. Well organized and quick to respond to your requests. We recommend them to you and will continue to talk them up to our friends and family!

helped us with our timeline and in picking out appropriate songs. He dressed very professionally for the event. We had many specific song requests and he was patient with us and respected our wishes. He asked the appropriate questions so he would know what we expected of him. And lastly he has a GREAT DJ voice!! Thanks John!!

t everything running smoothly. He was great with the guests and he made great song choices. He was even able to find unusual songs on the internet when they were requested. Even a song from my old band as a surprise. He was great and very organized and professional.

bride and groom were living in NY and were unable to meet with him in person. He provided valuable input in determining the flow of the reception. He made it easy to coordinate everything with the caterer and photographers.

on the must play list at the reception. He did a great job announcing everything during the reception. The lighting on the dance floor was great too! Everyone had a great time dancing! We also had fiesta sounds do a photo booth and that was so much fun! The person who was in charge of the booth did an outstanding job. All the guests had such a great time using the props and taking pictures. They gave the bride and groom a wonderful scrapbook with all the pictures that were taken in the booth. I highly recommend fiesta sounds!
John was the DJ at our wedding on 12/20/14 and he did a great job! He did the music for our ceremony and reception and therefore had to set up two separate systems for our wedding ...
and he made it no big deal at all, even though I know it was a lot of work. He was very accommodating when we had some very uncommon songs on our list of must-haves. He also played a good mix of slow and fast songs as well as old and new songs so that every guest heard something they liked at some point.
During our reception he always warned us before an event was coming up so that he knew we were ready (first dance, cake cut, etc.) and I thought that was great so that my husband and I could be in the right place at the right time. We definitely recommend Fiesta Sounds for your wedding!
We had our DJ cancel 45 days prior to our wedding and a quick email to John saved the day! No matter the play list, the changes, or any request we had it was taken care of. An ov...

e energy up during our reception, and as a result the the dance floor stayed busy the whole night! He was prompt and punctual for all of our appointments, and responded quickly to e-mails. He was a true pleasure to work with.
Highly recommended!

ked well with our other vendors in making sure everyone was in the right spot and stayed on time. He played a great selection and was awesome about even getting our last minute changes!
2 weeks before my wedding John called to state that he would not be doing my wedding and that a 2nd guy would be doing it. The 2nd guy made arrangements with me to meet for lunch a...
nd go over details. I bought the guy lunch and gave him detailed info about the wedding. He was very difficult to get a hold of a few days before the wedding but was able to reach him the day before and he told me everything was in place and he wanted everything to go perfect. That day I also received an email from John stating that I still owed a balance even though it was paid in full. 2 hours before the wedding I received a phone call from a different company stating that the 2nd guy that was supposed to do my wedding did not show up to pick up equipment so he would be doing my wedding. The original guy, John, never emailed or called to apologize. This is not a business that I would ever recommend.
John is a wonderful DJ and really rolls with the punches. Our wedding was delayed due to some travel issues and he was wonderful about changing the whole timing of the evening. He ...

ery easy to work with and kept everything running smoothly. Thanks Justin!
Fiesta did a good job for the most part. I'm a little bitter about a few things though - They pretty much required a tip (and specified the amount). A tip should not be required no...
r listed as a line item. A tip is a tip and is completely optional, especially when you're self employed as most DJ's are. It was also a little awkward watching the DJ sit at my husbands families table (a family I just met at our wedding) eating dinner. I expected them to eat up at the DJ booth or somewhere away from everyone else. They could also stand to update their music list. There were current, popular songs that we wanted played at our reception that John wanted us to download and give to him on cd. When we're paying nearly $1000 for your service, an updated song list is expected. In all fairness, John & Fiesta did do a nice job on the night of our wedding. There were just some kinks in the process.
Fiesta Sounds did a wonderful job at our wedding. Our DJ, Justin, was very professional, organized and flexible when we had to switch things up on the spot. All of our guest were...

My husband and I have kind of eclectic music taste. We're extremely content to listen to our satellite rado and honestly don't pay much attention to Artist and song names. This can...
make it tricky when selecting music, but even with the very little input we gave John , he did a fantastic job. Everyone was dancing the night away, and I don't feel like there any of those moments were everyone just stops and thinks, "what is he playing?". We chose Fiesta Sounds after only a phone interview (we live out of state), but they were a lot more put together and just seemed to click better then two other DJs we interviewed in person. They showed up on time, got all the requested songs correct, volume was the perfect level, they were professional the whole time, and they made everything just so easy. I would gladly recommend them to anyone.
We would like to thank Fiesta Sounds for the great job they did at our wedding! The music selection, playlist, and mix was perfectly orchestrated. The way they mix and included th...
e spanish and the english music we gave them with all the selections they had, was amazing! The floor was always full of people. Everyone still comments on the excellent job you performed. We have and will continue to recommend Fiesta Sound for any and all musical needs. We also want to acknowledge the great job of maintaining the schedule we discussed.
Thank YouMr. Mrs. DeLorenzo
Fiesta sounds had us tell them what we wanted of our DJ and how outgoing we wanted him to be. Justin was exactly the right personality and played great songs.
