Fern Botanica

vision and made me feel so seen and supported throughout the process. I had been hoping—praying—for a poppy miracle for my late June wedding, and this team made it happen. Every bloom was placed with such care and intention, creating arrangements that were not only stunning, but deeply meaningful. These are true artists, and I’m endlessly grateful for their passion, creativity, and heart.

to meeting in her wonderful studio to talk about the design closer to the wedding date, she put me completely at ease about the flowers and rightfully so because she DELIVERED. They were whimsical and fun and different and we had many many guests come up to us during the reception complimenting the flowers. Not only was Julia extremely receptive about what I was looking for but she was extremely conscious of our budget and was overall an absolute pleasure to work with. I am so happy we went with Fern Botanica and I cannot recommend them enough.

uquet, bud vases, 2 larger arrangements, corsages and boutonnieres. I sent a few inspiration photos for the colors and types of flowers I like, but did not see my flowers until they were delivered to my hotel and set up at the venue. The Fern Botanica team truly captured my vision! I'm so pleased with how they turned out. I highly recommend Fern Botanica for brides looking for an a la carte option.

rrangements were lovely, surprising, tasteful, elegant and specific. Guests were fighting to take them home, lol. ALSO, Julia worked with us to create flexible floral arrangements that could first play on the chuppah and then as statement pieces for the dinner, which kept the cost down and the sustainability up. Love Fern!

te from them (two bridal and 16 bridesmaids!), and gave them a color palette and inspiration image to work from—and I cannot even believe how stunning the result was. Our budget was limited, so we reused the bouquets as centerpieces for the tables, and Fernies also helped us figure out the best size vases, so we could transition them easily. Also, we were gifted flower preservation, and the artist immediately asked who our florist was because she was so impressed by the flowers. That’s how you know it’s good. I will absolutely be using them again for everything from causal arrangements to special events. The team there has such an incredible eye and style, they did all the heavy lifting, and we got to enjoy the rewards of people complimenting our beautiful flowers. Win/win.

warm, kind, and passionate about her work - and she is highly professional and flexible when it comes to communication and budget. Although we had a classic and formal setting, Julia was able to add in unique texture and color combinations to make the look and feel of our wedding absolutely perfect and personal to us as a couple. Julia - How did you get the color scheme, bouquets, florals, candles, vases coordinated and done so perfectly? You worked with a clueless bride like me, and I am so grateful for your guidance and for your supernatural ability to read minds. My jaw literally dropped when I saw everything for the first time, and my friends and family couldn't stop gushing about the florals afterwards. I was so moved by how you were able to incorporate my favorite color, yellow, into the look and feel of the flowers and my bouquet. I know how hard it is to pull off, and my photographer gushed about it as well. Thank you Fern Botanica! We are so happy to be part of the Fernie club :)

alming presence when you are in the throes of wedding planning! I especially loved being able to visit their charming studio/shop in Astoria and workshop ideas with the team beforehand. I had a few vague ideas in mind, but Julia was able to take it to finish line and deliver! If you are looking for gorgeous and unique florals for your wedding, Fern Botanica is your vendor.

ediately won us over with her incredible warmth and enthusiasm. She was able to simultaneously provide much-needed professional guidance & education, while demonstrating a commitment to honoring our vision. We went into the wedding weekend with total confidence in the Fern Botanica team, and they exceeded every expectation we had by a mile. The peonies at our rehearsal dinner were truly show stopping - our jaws dropped when we walked into the room. People were fighting over who got to take them home at the end of the night! On our wedding day, the beauty and artistry of the floral arrangements blew us away. They were the perfect combination of classic with a sculptural, modern edge - bringing our vision to life so much better than we could have ever articulated. We got so many compliments from guests on the gorgeous bar arrangements, table runners, bouquets and ceremony florals. But above all else, Julia & her team are wonderful, kind, passionate human beings and it was truly a pleasure to work with them. I hope to have many more reasons to work with the Fernies in the future!

es the work out of it. Her extensive knowledge just makes the process so easy. We are by no means flower experts, so being able to describe a look or style to allow Julia to help craft our vision was such an impressive experience. Day off, it was exactly what we had imagined. Julia delivered and then some. The greenery flowed from table to table, the bouquet was so full, and our guests were absolutely thrilled to get to take home home of the beautiful table settings. At the end of the night, we felt very pleased to know that all the remaining greens would be composted as part of Fern’s environmentally-friendly efforts. Fern is a remarkable team lead by a truly special woman. We were so lucky to have them as part of our day.

s to choose exactly what we needed. Julia was incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout the process, always guiding us in the right direction. Her expertise and flexibility helped us select the perfect flowers for our wedding. For our wedding reception, we chose dried flower centerpieces and we were amazed at how beautifully they turned out. The mix of colors and textures in the arrangements were stunning! We highly recommend Fern Botanica to anyone looking for gorgeous wedding flowers!

ave imagined. She always responded right away to my emails and was able to do my final consultation over FaceTime since I couldn’t be in NY at that time. They were very accommodating, trustworthy, super easy to work with and incredibly talented! They showed up on time, stayed within our budget and created a wonderful atmosphere at our venue.

ed a la carte from their website for bouquets, center pieces, corsages and boutonnieres. The process was seamless and easy. I gave my preference and referenced photos, but did not see my flowers until they arrived to my hotel as I was getting ready day-of. I knew they would be perfect and they were gorgeous, so unique! You will not be disappointed with the service or product, go with Fern Botanica

tly what vibe we wanted and suggested the most beautiful flowers for our fall wedding in Beacon, NY. We met several times over the course of the year while we were planning the wedding, and they were super quick to answer our emails when we had a question. Our centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres and cake florals were incredibly unique, each with its own personality. But the showstopper was our chuppah! Both sets of parents kept telling us how impressed they were watching Julia set each flower individually, removing and replacing any that didn’t seem just right. She also honored our request to remove the back posts of the chuppah and keep our flowers behind our sweetheart table as an arch during the reception. Most of all we just love how friendly, energetic and kindhearted everyone at Fern Botanica is. 10/10 would recommend!!

eas, helped us develop an aesthetic, and made great suggestions that really improved on the look we we were going for. The planning process was really fun and collaborative, and she and her team executed everything beautifully. We wanted a fairly minimal style, and Fern Botanica designed florals that had such a big impact without seeming overdone. Also - it feels like a small thing, but Julia is so sweet and was so enthusiastic about our wedding and florals. She came to personally hand us our bouquets and boutonnieres the morning of the big day, gave us big hugs and congratulations, was really emotionally involved - it made us feel really special and taken care of.

w my vision. I went to their studio/storefront for our final meeting and it was the best vendor meeting I had by far - Julia is so sweet and personable and I got to see various flowers and ferns in person, how they open up the flowers, and pick out the vases for everything. The team also had done a lot of weddings at our venue so they were super knowledgeable on quantities and what it would take to get the space to look like a dreamy garden soirée without crowding the tables. We shared a same vision of every bouquet and arrangement not looking alike, having movement, incorporating color and all still feeling very romantic - they delivered on all of this and so much more, I couldn’t have been happier with all of our beautiful florals! For the day of, they were able to deliver our personal flowers first and then drop off our reception flowers at a later time. Originally, they were only going to drop off the reception flowers but I saw SarahKay there and helping to place the flowers on the table which was so nice and appreciated- definitely felt an extra bit of fernie magic with her there! Thank you to the whole team again, I couldn’t recommend Fern Botanica enough!!

* to work with. Julia manages to infuse every email, meeting, and touch point with whimsy and joy. I am a big plant and flower lover in general, and because we picked a "raw space" for our wedding and needed a chuppah for the ceremony, our florist needed to play a *key* role in creating the right vibes for the whole day. Julia and her team pulled this off beautifully. Our chuppah was exactly what I wanted, and withstood a pretty windy rooftop by the river! Julia and the team were totally game to work with a tallit that we wanted to cover the chuppah and took my vision to heart. The floral arrangements, candles, and pottery were all fun, seasonally appropriate for the fall, and exactly what we'd hoped for. Fun fact - Fern lets you keep the pottery! We had no idea, and now cherish a few of the bud vases and larger pieces year-round. Can't recommend working with them enough - total dream team.

y. When I walked into the ceremony space I was taken aback by how beautiful it was - from the Chuppah to the bridal bouquets to center pieces - everything was truly stunning.

ny scattered ideas about color, shape, and mood into a cohesive and joyful end result. The arrangements were everything we could possibly have dreamed of and more. This is a team you can trust to make your event truly spectacular! Thank you again for everything!

eceived so many compliments! Julia and her team are also just lovely, responsive, and stress-free. We started out with a very specific vision for our wedding that had to change multiple times due to venue constraints and even terrible weather the day of. Fern was always ready to make a plan, and went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. We could not have been happier with the result. Our advice is to hire Fern and give them creative freedom - they are total pros and know how to create the most stunning florals.

pecial day. Throughout the entire process, they were incredibly responsive, kind, and professional. They completely transformed our wedding venue into a breathtakingly romantic garden, and we couldn't have asked for a more enchanting ambiance. Not only did they excel in their craft, but they also demonstrated immense support and kindness towards my family, making us feel confident and assured throughout the entire experience. What truly sets Fern Botanica apart is their impeccable taste. They have a remarkable eye for detail and an innate understanding of aesthetics. Their ability to curate arrangements that perfectly aligned with our vision was truly remarkable. If you're in search of a wedding floral shop that combines exceptional talent, professionalism, and kindness, Fern Botanica is the one to choose. I highly recommend their services for anyone seeking an unforgettable and visually stunning wedding day!

ire process. Their attention to detail and enthusiasm made everything so easy, and everyone told us how much they loved the florals at our wedding. We highly recommend them!

Will definitely hire them for any future event needs!

sts and it was clear from my conversation and the quote Julia provided that she would be the best vendor to work with. Julia knows how to take an idea and bring it to life. She is extremely bubbly while also being relaxed and professional. Something I really liked was not doing mock-ups of centerpieces and other items and seeing the flowers for the first time on the wedding day. It was one of the highlights of the day! Highly recommend Julia and her team. I’d love the opportunity to work with them again!

m-free florist was super important to us and I'm so glad I chose Fern Botanica for my wedding florals. Will return here for all of my future flower purchases.

fe so much better than I imagined - everything was perfect and SO beautiful. She was so easy to work with from her very first email, responsive, flexible, and is clearly a wizard and expert at her craft. 10/10 would get married again just to have Fern Botanica create our florals all over again.

iration pictures a month before our date and she and her team captured exactly what we were looking for. I even go a tattoo inspired by our wedding florals!

e will never forget the day. My wife can’t believe how Julia was able to make her vision into a gorgeous reality. Thank you Fern Botanica!!!

when it came to the specific look of our flowers, and Julia and her team translated our comments into beautiful arrangements that fit the look and feel of our wedding perfectly. Thank you again, Julia &co!

also gorgeous. We couldn’t have asked for a better florist!

incredible. My partner and I were late to book a florist and ended up reaching out to a bunch of great florists that have worked at our venue before, BBG. Julia stood out, as she had an incredible attitude that just radiated positivity and good vibes. She got our vision right away and understood what we wanted even more so than we did. We booked ~ 5 weeks before our wedding. Julia eased our stress and made time to do a “mini mock-up” in person and run through everything with us. Her prices were reasonable given our vision. She also seamlessly connected with our wedding planner and she made sure to integrate whatever flowers / colors / reference images / details we loved, including making sure I got the lush chuppah I was hoping for. Two days before our wedding our neon sign that was going behind the dj booth basically experienced a shipping mishap and Julia and her team came through to create beautiful flower initial letters that would help replace that signage’s place. Additionally, we had hoped to have hanging installations from the ceiling but weeks before the venue no longer allowed that, but luckily Julia came up with a creative beautiful solution. Julia also did the flowers for our Friday night dinner and they were so beautiful. I can’t recommend Julia and her team enough. They’re the good vibes you want on your wedding day along with the most beautiful flowers and endless creativity. Cant wait for my next event to order flowers with them. :) You can see some of the beauty from the day here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CgP6pJQAKLE/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=

ed this into one of the most stunning and elegant sets of flowers we could have ever imagined, from the table settings to the bouquet. Her service was great as she helped us right-size everything for our venue and our budget, and we never felt like we were getting talked into something we didn't need - if anything, she helped us be realistic about what would look great in the space we were going to get married in without overdoing it. We recommend Fern to anyone!

and came up with a beautiful set of arrangements that completely captured what we wanted. We particularly loved the arrangement for the huppah, which was ornate and beautiful without being over the top, and the different colored bouquets for the bridesmaids, which created a really lovely effect. And besides the actual design, they were extremely easy to work with and made it a seamless experience.

or the flowers, and Julia managed to figure out the perfect arrangements and vibe for our wedding... and made it all super easy. She was really a crucial part of all aspects, coming through with all sorts of recommendations, especially when I needed some last-minute vendors due to Covid. Loved the flowers, loved having Julia there on the wedding day, loved all of it. Highly recommend.

f what I wanted, but Julia was extremely patient and helpful with coming up with flower combinations that perfectly fit our aesthetic! Throughout the entire process Julia was communicative, friendly, flexible, understanding, and professional. The attention to detail she put into each design was evident and gorgeous. I would recommend Fern Botanica to anyone looking for beautiful, affordable and eco-friendly flowers for their upcoming event!

ative instincts immediately. The colors and textures of the bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, groom boutonnière, bud vases and cake florals were exactly what we envisioned. We could not recommend Fern Botanica more; their work was an absolute floral dream.

ted for wedding florals at the start of this process (besides: lilacs!), and they helped to solidify a real approach and bring the whole thing to life in a way that was pure springtime magic in the heart of our downtown Brooklyn venue. We couldn’t stop marveling. During planning, they were super responsive, true collaborators, and just so sweet and fun to chat with. We are lucky enough to that they are local to our neighborhood so we'll be able to visit often for blooms for our apartment, and each time we do it will be a reminder of the joy they brought to our special day. Thank you, Fern Botanica team!

k super elegant and beautiful! I feel like I need to emphasize on how absolutely perfect the bouquet was. They made it exactly the size that would look good in my hands, and I was very impressed by their attention to detail. Every leaf and flower was fresh and placed exactly where it should be. I couldn't image a better look for my wedding. Thank you Julia and team for making my wedding look like a dream!

e and I loved how creative they were. I could not possibly have been more thrilled with how absolutely GORGEOUS every little detail was. These are not your typical wedding florals (nothing wrong with that but I wanted something unique). They are so stylish and elegant and the colors were stunning. We sat and chatted about the venue, the mood, the color of my maid of honors dress and having a staircase "moment" which really outdid itself and Julia came with so many ideas that I truly never worried about my flowers after our meeting. My guests kept telling me how romantic and beautiful the florals were and I couldn't agree more. Would hire them again in a second.

r our first phone call. With just a handful of inspiration photos, Julia was able to pull out my favorite flowers, our color scheme, and the overall look we wanted. I didn't care too much about the specifics beyond that, so Julia had a lot of freedom to create whatever she thought was best - and she absolutely delivered. The flowers she designed were even more beautiful than I had imagined and totally perfect for us and our wedding. Highly recommend Julia and the Fern Botanica team.

o my wedding budget, flowers were an area where I was willing to be more restrained to save money, and I didn't have a clear vision and I was just nervous that vendors were going to eat me alive, or just now even want to work with us because we were only doing bouquets and boutonnieres. Then I got on the phone with Julia. Within minutes, I knew she was the one. She recommended going heavy on the flameless candles and keeping greenery on the tables to just some simple (and affordable) strands of ivy. We followed her direction and it was absolutely perfect. She was so patient with me and my husband and we literally didn't know any words for the types of flowers we were looking for. I loved my bouquet so much, I am having the flowers pressed and framed. I literally went from a girl who does not really care about flowers, to wondering how I can continue to support this business for the rest of time. Book this team. Period.

esign something really cool with some general input from us and she totally nailed it! Julia was so easy to work with and far exceeded our expectations. We loved her work and received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the arrangements. One of the best parts was how long the arrangements lasted after our event and continued to bring joy to many others not in attendance. We highly recommend Fern Botanica for your wedding.

to meet and talk through our vision, we visited her shop in Astoria and she was just as amazing. Her studio was warm, inviting and full of gift-able treats. She listened to our long list of wants and came up with the perfect design that brought both of our ideas together. The flowers brought to our wedding blew our minds. They were so beautiful and set the tone for the vibe we wanted for our guests. I might have even cried a little when I saw them for the first time. I couldn’t recommend Julia and her team more even if I tried. She has gained a client for life!

ng throughout the entire covid wedding planning process, which was refreshing during those stressful times. Julia's eye and her understanding for ones vision really came through when I walked into my venue and saw all the floral arrangements - so beautiful & magical! My wedding guests are still talking about my flowers!!

gical, and it really was! What I love most about Fern Botanica is that it is not cookie-cutter flowers. The florals are works of art to match the bride and groom's personality. Each masterpiece, truly one of a kind. I can't thank Fern Botanica enough for making our inspiration come to a reality! It was the most perfect and special day!!
