FatPocket was the highlight of an incredible evening at Union station last month at our wedding. They absolutely crushed it and we had the best time. My wife and I literally never ...
left the dance floor and we felt the party was off the charts. We were super impressed with every member of the band, loved the energy, and the participation on the dance floor was super cool! They mixed in a lot of good mashups - classic songs and newer songs as well. We also really appreciated them doing such a good job emceeing, and taking everyone down to the afterparty and playing the horns down there to kick it off. Everything all night was just perfect and we can’t thank them enough.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars Across the Board for Fatpocket!
Fatpocket was, hands down, the best decision we made for our wedding. Their energy was absolutely unmatched, our guests never...
left the dance floor the entire night (except when dinner was served!), and the vibe they created was electric from start to finish.
From the very beginning, their band leader, Peter, went above and beyond. He worked closely with us to make sure we could request specific songs, helped the band learn new ones just for our wedding, and collaborated with me as the bride to create the most meaningful, unforgettable father–daughter dance. The band played first, and then my dad and I transitioned to the piano to sing and play together, a once-in-a-lifetime moment I will cherish forever. Peter made it seamless and truly special.
Every single musician was top-notch!! The horn section, singers, guitarists, bass players, drummers… all phenomenal. The horn section even joined us on the dance floor and played their instruments during cocktail hour to help gather everyone inside for the reception. They didn’t just play music, they created an experience. The sound was incredible, and they filled the room with energy, joy, and nonstop fun.
That’s how good Fatpocket is! My parents are already planning to bring them to Chicago for my sister’s weddings when it’s their turn.
BOOK THIS BAND. Fatpocket will create a night you and your guests will never forget. Absolute professionals, unbelievable talent, and pure magic on the dance floor. I wish we could go back and do it all over again!!!!
We had the FatPocket band( contemporary productions) play at our daughter’s wedding. Peter was our point person. He is so nice to work with. Everything ran smoothly. FatPocket band...
was AMAZING!! They are high energy and bring the party! Our guests were on the dance floor all night long!! It was so much FUN!! The reception was one for the books!!! If you want a talented and high energy band for your reception I highly recommend FatPocket!! You’ll be glad you did
I cannot say enough positive things about Fat Pocket. First off, Peter met with us in person to make sure he understood our music preferences and dislikes. I am VERY picky when it ...
comes to music, but he understood me right off the bat. His team even learned a few new songs for our wedding day. On the day of, they brought the energy to the next level. Our dance floor was PACKED the entire evening, and there was such great interaction between the band and our guests. We truly had the best time on our special day, and Fat Pocket was a MAJOR reason why.
PS - I HIGHLY recommend paying for the extra horns. You won't regret it!

nce floor was packed the entire evening! Not only was the band exceptionally talented from the vocals to each and every instrument, but FatPockets ability to interact (yes in the crowd and on the dance floor) made it even more of a night to remember. From the oldies and wedding classics to some new fun and trending songs, they can do it all.
For any person looking to book a band in St. Louis or anywhere that FatPocket would travel to, this is the group you choose. Peter and the team were so easy to work with, on top of all day of details and getting the perfect vibe for our day. The only negative of having FatPocket for your wedding band is that you only get to do it once, we wish we could relive that night every day!
Thanks again to everyone at FatPocket and contemporary production for making it a night we will never forget.
We absolutely recommend Fat Pocket to anyone looking for a talented, fun, and kind set of vendors in a wedding band! We booked them FIRST when we got engaged (before we even had a ...
venue) because we knew that the dance floor was important to us and wanted our guests to have a blast.
Peter and his team exceeded our expectations in every way, communicating clearly, seeking to understand our priorities, and even learning a few songs that mattered to us in the leadup to our big day. They coordinated all of the sound for our ceremony and toasts in an acoustically challenging space, and it was perfect!
Most importantly, they put on an amazing show that had people who usually never dance out on the floor all night long. Our photos are full of laughter and joy as a direct result of this band's performance. We didn't want the night to end, and a month later we continue to hear from guests that it was the best band they've ever seen at a wedding. They even gave us the setlist as a keepsake. We love them and are so grateful!!

wedding reception! It has been months since our wedding and we still have friends and family telling us that our reception was so amazing because of how great Fat Pocket was! They bring so much energy to the party and play a variety of music that all generations will love and have fun with! They are all very talented musicians but they also were so helpful and professional when it came to communicating with us and with managing all components of the reception such as introducing the wedding party and each speaker. I highly recommend booking them! We can’t thank them enough for being such an amazing part of our day!

ially the band talent & chemistry, they are the best. They brought the energy for 4 straight hours!
We loved working with Peter to plan the flow of the reception. He is so organized. They worked with us to only play the songs we loved, set the tone with our grand entrance, they learned our first dance and crushed it, dressed to the formal vibe, they used our specific Spotify playlist in between band breaks, and we were able to get on stage for Mr. Brightside. They even gave great honeymoon bar recs. They are ENTERTAINERS! And the kindest, most talented group - we love FatPocket!

committed to working together to create the perfect party! They learned songs and then delivered them better than we could have imagined. They learned instrumental songs and let us slot in our own family singers. Lastly, the brought energy and exuded joy that helped set the tone for the MOST FUN evening! My husband and I are still receiving notes of "WOW" from our guests because of their performance. If you want the throw a party of a lifetime, book FatPocket (with the full 11 piece band!!!)!

event, look no further. They are so talented, have the best energy, and kept our guests on the dance floor the entire night. Working with Peter from booking, to planning, and during our event was amazing and seemless.
FatPocket was one of the highlights, if not the top highlight, of our wedding night! We were fortunate enough to have seen them perform a couple times prior to our wedding so we kn...
ew they could put on a show and bring a ton of energy to the night. When we were thinking about the wedding details, the first thing we both agreed on was that we needed FatPocket to perform and their availability helped us pick our exact wedding date!
They were incredible all night long, sang all of our first dances and were super accommodating in requests leading up to the big day. We've now seen them four times including our wedding and are trying to make it back to St. Louis to see them again (or crash a wedding they are going to perform at). By the end of the night they were more than just the band and seeing them show up in our photos, video and photobooth photos made us relive the night and it felt like we were there all over again.
If anyone is getting married and St. Louis in the foreseeable future (or getting engaged), my recommendation is to make sure FatPocket is available the night you want to get married because they truly made our night. If you can't tell we love them and still talk about what an impact they had on the memories we shared that night.
Thank you again FatPocket!!
From booking to the actual event, fat pocket band exceeded our expectations! Great communication and organization throughout and helped us throw a great party!! Our guests continue...
to bring up how great they were and we couldn’t agree more - so happy to have fat pocket be a part of our big day!
FatPocket is the BEST decision you can make for your wedding. They elevate the party to a whole new level. I first heard them at my friends wedding and immediately knew I had to ...
have them at mine too. So… I legitimately planned my entire wedding around their availability because I knew my wedding would not be complete without them. They truly bring the PARTY and are so so talented!!!! They also are so communicative and work WITH you. All of our wedding guests have been raving about the band!!! They are totally epic, memorable, fun, and actually nice people. A million stars for the BEST wedding band in the business. Thank you FatPocket!!!!

n played beyond our scheduled ending time and security had to kick us out as no one wanted the music or dancing to end. Guests with music backgrounds even complimented us on the band. There is no need to look for a wedding band from out-of-town; we have all you could ask for in a band right here in St. Louis with Fat Pocket! Thank you so much for giving us the party of our dreams!

irst dance song and later some more music, it was such an amazing surprise ❤
Our guests cannot stop talking about how great they sounded and we are so grateful for them. Also, we appreciate the band taking for special time to comment on how "in the pocket" my little cousin, is. It meant so much to his parents to hear that as he can be a handful sometimes 😅 They are excited to see where music can take him.
Thanks especially to Peter for organizing everything and responding to all my emails, he helped keep me sane during the stressful few weeks prior to the wedding.
We can't wait to hear them all at your next public show. They have many more fans for life!
Fat Pocket was incredible! They were flexible and personalized the live music AND the music played during their breaks.

ldn’t stop raving about their energy, singing, and brass! They came down on the dance floor and danced with us while continuing to sing and play their instruments. As the bride, it was an incredible performance and made our night! We couldn’t have asked for a better band and experience in working with them.

Peter is part of a great family, including his new son. His front office team and his partners on stage are an extension. Bottom line, they energized my daughter‘s wedding. Peter’s great-grandfather came to help with our World’s Fair in 1904 and his grandfather played in the symphony- look what the Schankman family has done for our region. Peter and his father, Steve-the “trumpet player” and philanthropist-continue their company, Contemporary Productions. We are so blessed to have one of the best bands in the USA right here in St. Louis. We also chose an eclectic grouping of Heritage songs-ranging from French, to Irish to Russian and German that they played during dinner and breaks. We have taped them and they will be part of the memory of Stellie and Vlad‘s special day. Thank you Fat Pocket! Thank you for the first dance – “ You Are So Beautiful—Stellie sure is!

We even had guests say their spouse who doesn't typically like to get on the dance floor, got on the dance floor. I can't say enough good things about how great FatPocket's performance was, and their communication along the way. 1000% recommend!

and the best decision I made other than saying “I do” was booking FatPocket. If you want a nonstop PARTY at your wedding, this is the best band in St. Louis. The dance floor was constantly packed, even my grandma was dancing in her seat. The members interact with guests and keep the energy up high. My guests still say to this day that it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to. The band members are all great and Peter has been very quick to respond and easy to work with. We even saw them recently at Westport Social and they remembered us and we got to chat with them which was so fun and special. If you are wanting a blast of a wedding that people talk about for months, look no further!! FatPocket is hands down the best band in St. Louis.
Safe to say we, and many of my family and friends, are now groupies and keep track of their public shows!!!

City Casino, Westport Social and the Regalia). They were AMAZING at each show and we knew we made the right band decision!! Each band member is extremely talented, high energy and go the extra mile with choreographed dances. When we had to move our wedding due to COVID, Peter was understanding and easy to work with. Leading up to the wedding, he answered any questions we had and made us feel at ease about the musical logistics of the night. They were SO MUCH FUN at our wedding and exceeded our high expectations! The dance floor was packed from the first song to the encore. They sang our First Dance song which was special to have it performed live vs just a recording. The band was very interactive with the crowd and I will never forget them performing “Proud Mary”!! No one wanted the music to stop and our guests danced the entire time! Everyone at our wedding is a huge Fat Pocket fan now and we are getting endless compliments about how much fun the band was. I can’t recommend Fat Pocket enough if you want your wedding dance floor to be a blow out party!!

Your musical talent, amazing voices, and your “presence” was second to none. However, joining people on the dance floor was the best and really sets you apart from other bands. Loved it!!! I think I can safely say you have 240 new followers.
Anyone considering Fatpocket for a wedding venue you will not be disappointed. Peter was amazing to work with and promptly responded to all my questions. Very professional and wonderful band!
FatPocket is THE BEST. We had them for our wedding and let me tell you, it's now almost a month later and we are still having guests reach out for the band name and telling us how ...

Guests matched our praise for these guys with the rave reviews even still a month out from our wedding! The quality of the performance Fat Pocket gave to our evening was filled with more energy than we could have even imagined!
The group was amazing to work with as far as details and directions go, very transparent and always quick to respond to any and every email sent their way.
Hiring this band is one of the easiest decisions to make if you are looking for a high energy, incredible sound and vocalists, and interactive group of beyond talented individuals to keep your dance floor flooded and guests screaming for encores well into your night!

Amazing songlist, tons of mashups, the BEST female singer I've ever heard at a wedding and OMG the horns! They're one of the more expensive bands we looked at but worth every penny. Book them if open and you won't regret it.

This was their first show back in months and they knocked it out of the park. Everyone raved about them and I am thrilled it all worked out. Thanks!
We were one of the lucky COVID couples that were actually able to get married. From rearranging guest lists, to new venues, to completely replanning everything less than one month ...
