so much about every single detail. I loved my wedding dress when I tried on the sample because the store clipped me in tightly. When the actual dress arrived I was so sad it looked like a potato sack. Irina made my dreams come true getting my dress to custom fit my body, took care of hemming, and added a bustle. I trust Irina with my life!

detail and friendly service made the whole experience stress-free. Highly recommend! We LOVE HER!

of my celebration, and every single piece came out absolutely perfect. From the moment I met her, I could tell how skilled and passionate she is about her craft. Irina has an incredible eye for detail. She knew exactly how to tailor each dress to fit my body beautifully, while still preserving their original style and essence. My wedding dress in particular required quite a few alterations, and she handled every adjustment with care, precision, and so much expertise. The final result fit me like it was made just for me from the start. What also stood out to me was how fast and accommodating Irina was throughout the whole process. She was always flexible with my schedule, patient with my questions and requests, and made me feel completely at ease. Even when timelines were tight, she worked efficiently without ever compromising on quality. On top of her talent and professionalism, Irina’s pricing is very fair and affordable. Something that’s not easy to find when it comes to wedding and formal wear alterations. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients, and it’s clear she takes great pride in making sure you feel your absolute best in your dress. tyle and theme of our special day— something timeless, elegant, and truly me. Nothing felt right… until I met her. From our very first conversation, she made me feel heard, understood, and offered wonderful suggestions. She took my concerns and vision to heart and created the most stunning gown I could have ever imagined. It was everything I dreamed of and more — flattering, graceful, and perfectly tailored to who I am. I felt beautiful, confident, and completely comfortable on my wedding day, and the compliments I received were endless. Not only is Irina incredibly talented, but she also has the sweetest, most genuine spirit. Her kindness and calm presence made the whole experience so special. If you’re feeling discouraged like I was, just know you’re in the very best hands with her. She’s a true artist and a blessing to work with.

hem while she was working on tailoring. She did a beautiful job altering my dress.

– I was so frustrated that everything in bridal shops was like $4k and still polyester. Irina custom-made my dress out of the most gorgeous silk based on pictures of several different dresses, and it was still less expensive than dresses I was looking at in stores (plus you don’t have to pay for tailoring!). The construction required was complex, and she spent who knows how many hours getting the neckline exactly right without compromising a single aspect of the look I wanted. She was also so helpful in understanding how different decisions about strap placement, etc. would impact fit and comfort day-of. Her level of craftsmanship is SO stunning – lining up many layers of very fine silk perfectly is really difficult, and she executed beautifully. And her tailoring is the definition of skimming , not clinging – the fit she achieved is extremely flattering. Truly the best there is!

rimming the lace, taking out the sides and the straps, adding the bustle, etc. Not only did she finish the job perfectly, she went above and beyond and made a few more suggestions that I didn't notice, and fixed all those small tears in the dress that I bought off the rack. All I can say is that she did wonders on the dress. Her studio is very clean and homey too, which made my visit very much not nerve-wrecking.

ric to the breast area but it ended up being so seamless and perfect. She also altered my mom’s dress last minute and saved us from a disaster. Personality wise, Irina is fantastic. So kind, patient, caring and friendly. Definitely recommend her to all brides. You cannot find a better tailor in the DMV area. I’m the third bride in my friend group to go to Irina and we all have been super happy with Irina’s services.

d custom look. She was wonderful to work with and completed everything on time and exactly like we discussed. I would highly recommend!

mplicated project. It only needed to be taken up in the front and I wanted to add lining in the bodice but the layers of silk, horsehair, and tulle all required hand sewing. Irina was meticulous in her assessment and pinning during the consultation, and I immediately felt comfortable trusting her with my dress. She kept me updated along the way with drawings and pictures of the work, and I went back for a second fitting. The amount of hand work she did to preserve the flower appliqué at the bottom of the dress and line the bodice with silk fabric (repurposed from the hemming) was incredibly impressive. Irina is master of her craft and my dress looked perfect. She also made me a veil which was great and very fairly priced and was super flexible on scheduling (offering week day and weekend times). I loved working with her!

everything right. She's also such a sweet and kind person, I would 100% recommend working with her! Even though she didn't make my gown, she is definitely talented and can make anything you want. She showed me some of her custom gowns and they were gorgeous!

through the creative process. We spent hours trying different details to the neck line and she is so good with the creative process as well as making sure the finished product is exactly what I wanted and felt happy with. I feel like we became family and created an amazing dress I truly felt beautiful and confident in. Highly recommend Irina to everyone!

tation. From our very first meeting, it was clear she had incredible talent and vision. Irina took the time to listen to my ideas and discuss my style preferences, and then she created a sketch of my dress based on everything we had discussed. It was amazing to see her transform my thoughts into a stunning gown that perfectly captured what I was looking for in my wedding dress! In addition to my dress, I also wanted to have a long-sleeve topper to wear during my wedding ceremony which I could remove for the reception. Irina brought my idea to life, and created the perfect removable "jacket" to seamlessly match with the dress -- you couldn't even tell it was two pieces! It was a beautiful way to have two different bridal looks without having two different dresses. Throughout the process of making the dress, Irina's attention to detail was remarkable. Every stitch, every layer of fabric, and every piece of lace was placed with such precision and care. The quality and beauty of her work is so much more than what I saw in bridal stores, even in upscale boutiques. She helped me select fabric, lace, and a veil -- all of which were gorgeous, and the perfect selections for the style and shape of my dress. She has created every kind of dress imaginable for brides with all different styles, and her wealth of knowledge was evident as we made each decision.  Working with Irina to create your wedding dress is such a special and personalized experience. She is attentive to you in ways that a bridal store and standard alterations can't be. Irina went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with every aspect of my dress, working through every detail with enthusiasm and professionalism. She is also such a delight to be around! Truly the most charming, lovely person I have ever met, and I am so glad to have had the opportunity to work with her. I wholeheartedly recommend Irina to anyone considering having a dress custom made. Her amazing talent, years of experience, and genuine passion for design make her the perfect choice. You will not only receive a breathtaking dress, but also the unforgettable experience of creating your one-of-a-kind wedding dress. I cannot recommend Irina enough!

e in the redesign and saved the scraps of my mom’s old dress for me. My new dress came out so lovely and beautiful. I got a ton of compliments from people, and it absolutely meant the world to both my mom and me to be able to wear her dress

an amazing job, because she designed my best friend's wedding gown too!! But for my dress, Irina surpassed all my expectations and imagination!! I was literally shocked when I saw my dress on my wedding day, so was everyone!! It's the most beautiful gown I have ever seen!! Another thing about Irina that truly captivated me was not only she is extermly talented and gifted, she has an exceptional personality that will make you feel at home and bring you so much peace!! She is very helpful, generous and kind!! Out of all the wedding shenanigans, my dress was the last thing I worried about, because Irina gave me that confidence. I didn't even care if she brought it on the day of my wedding! Irina also stayed with me the whole entire day of my wedding to help me with both my first and second dress (She didn't make the second one) but she still stayed to help me get dress and made sure I was comfortable and ready to go!!! Irina, you made my wedding truly memorable, I am so blessed you were a huge part of my wedding, and I wish you succeeded in every area of your life because you truly deserve it!!!!! Kalkidan ❤️

nd vision. I had gone to many salons before scheduling with Irina and I felt as if I was facing g a wall. The moment I met with Irina not only did she work so well to get to know me; she understood my vision and brought it to life! My dream dress would not have been able to have come to life without her beautiful and extraordinary professional talent and hard work. She is a joy to work with, in professionalism, timeliness, and she truly cares the most about her clientele.

dmade lace) couple sizes smaller. Not to mention the incredibly beautiful custom made veil! I was looking for a cathedral length veil to be similar in style/ color to my dress. All I tried before were extremely heavy and I could not imagine walking in it. The shades of ivory/ off white/ champagne were also confusing. Irina was kind to offer to replace some flowers from my dress and make a veil for me. It came out exactly how I envision it. My wedding was a destination one. And I would have probably ended up with a huge carry on, if not Irina’s help on packing it neatly into a smaller garment bag. It was easy enough to go to Europe with it and take several flights before we got to our destination. Thank you for your attentive help and incredible work!

in person shopping adventures around the DMV left me very frustrated. I knew exactly what I wanted and wasn’t finding it anywhere. By stroke of luck, I stumbled across Irina reading an online review. From the first telephone contact, to our first meeting where we discussed ideas, design and fabric, to our fittings and finally the delivery of my beautiful gown Irina made the creative process not only easy and seamless, but so much fun. Irina is warm and welcoming. Her artistry is exquisite and her unmatched attention to detail made my dress truly a one of a kind timeless treasure. Her excitement and enthusiasm is contagious. She has exceptional communication skills, keeping you informed and inviting feedback each step of the way. I have never felt more beautiful and received so many compliments. In addition to creating my MOB gown, Irina also helped me repurpose my own wedding gown as a surprise for my daughter, creating a custom handkerchief embroidered with the bride’s initials. I absolutely adore Irina and will be calling on her again and again. More pictures to come as soon as I receive them from the photographer! Gratefully. Gina A (Purcellville, VA)

ing dress? Then you need to contact Irina. Not only is she very friendly and fun to work with, but she is also so incredibly talented. When I came to her, I needed something very out of the ordinary and only had some ideas in my head about what I wanted. Irina designed the entire thing from scratch the outcome was the most beautiful wedding dress I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend Irina to every bride.

eded some significant alterations to be my 100% dream dress. She worked with my vision, gave me her knowledgeable feedback and it just couldn't turn more amazing! She created a deeper V-neck, took in and took out where needed to complement my figure and double-bustled my breathtaking train. My dress was stunning on me and I felt like a star, all while being comfortable all wedding long! 2. Irina wasn't persuaded that the simplest, short veil I purchased with my dress was the route to go. She envisioned more dramatic look so she packed me a long veil "to go" to decide on the wedding day. Obviously I never looked back at the short one and yes, the pictures are truly special! 3. I had a last-minute bridesmaid change and my cousin who lives overseas stepped in as my new bridesmaid. The catch was she didn't fly in until the day before the wedding. Irina basically saw us as soon as my cousin landed and altered the dress I bought for her in less than an hour. She saved me from an anxiety attack and she really did a clean, beautiful work! Irina is so smooth and seamless at what she does. She altered some of my clothes in the past before working on my wedding and rest assured I will be using her expert services in the future. I adore her work, she really is inspirational! And her pricing is really attractive; in fact I believe she cuts herself short.

h her for my wedding veil and wedding dress alternations. She created my veil and it was beyond anything I could imagine. Everyone was asking me about her amazing work. She is a truly gifted designer. I could not thank her enough for always accommodating my needs and always exceeding my expectations.

, but I could not find anything like the vision in my head within my price range that could be ready in time (we planned the wedding in a 6-month window). A friend recommended Irina, another seamstress commended her work after looking through the portfolio, and we set up a consultation. During our conversation, she clarified the image and then set to work on finding the right materials (a lily of the valley floral with silk organza overlay), designing the dress (custom pattern), and then tailoring it over multiple fitting sessions, as she saw how it looked on me. Irina is creative AND she has an eye for details AND she has the skilled capability to bring the dream or the drawing to fruition. My fiancé (now husband) went with me to each of the sessions, and we agree that she exceeded our expectations. Thank you for helping to make our wedding day uniquely beautiful!

g day! She worked tirelessly to execute my vision to perfection and for that, I’ll forever be grateful. Thank you, Irina! ♥️
