Jill gave me a great deal at the time to be a full on wedding planner as she was just starting her business. And I’m glad I went with that option because I didn’t realize how much goes into the type of wedding I wanted. If you’re having a wedding that has over 110 guests and has a lot of moving parts- you need to hire a wedding planner (with an assistant ideally). In hindsight, I think I would have paid a little extra for an assistant as well because there were some details in the reception that were overlooked-through no one’s fault- just a lot was going on that day. Thankfully, none of the guests noticed these missing details (Like the customized dessert bags that were never used, or candy that were still in boxes, the heaters not being put up on time -This was a November wedding, and the wedding cake missing its decorative flowers). But this was a learning experience, and overall, I’m thankful to have had Jill by my side, because I think things would have been much worse if I didn’t have her help. At one point, a second mariachi band showed up announced, but that was taken care of lol. I’m not sure what other wedding planners do, but I was happy that Jill allowed me the freedom to come up with the vision and design for my wedding, while she took care of the logistics and planning- like arranging video call meetups w/ the vendors and venue which helped a lot. It also helped that her schedule was flexible despite some personal family emergencies that happened during the process. I’m sure once her business grows more she will be able to get the extra help needed to plan much bigger, more fantastical weddings! Overall, I would recommend Jill as a wedding planner: She’s very down-to-earth, punctual (thank you for getting to the courthouse on time while I was running late) , professional, compassionate- took well to my notes, and concerns, and jumped to the occasion. Thanks again, Jill!

. She helped us keep everything on track and even made sure our rehearsal the day before went smoothly. I was incredibly impressed by the timeline she created for us and her flexibility for any last-minute changes we needed made. Professional, detail oriented, and compassionate throughout our planning process and the event itself. Her services are also reasonably priced, which helped us out a lot as newlyweds. Jill is awesome, and we highly recommend her!

re I realized I could not do everything on my own and not lose my mind. I had several consultation calls with other planners but none of them meshed as well as I did with Jill on our first call. My now-husband and I are huge video game nerds, and wanted to infuse our wedding with subtle nods to our favorites. Finding someone who specialized in nerdy weddings was a huge deal for us! Jill understood our vision and executed it perfectly. Working with her felt very natural, due in part to her friendliness and mutual understanding of fandom culture. From the early planning stages up until the day of the wedding, having her support was invaluable. Thanks to her, we were able to enjoy our day stress-free and stay fully in the moment! I could go on and on, but if you're a fellow geeky couple looking for someone you don't have to over-explain your hobbies and interests to, look no further than Fantastical Adventures!!

oothly. She also works so well with other vendors and handles any issues behind the scenes so her couples can focus on enjoying their big day. If you're getting married, Jill is the planner for you. She can handle all types of events and is a very experienced professional. Thank you so much again Jill!

rs to ensure that our big day turned out fabulous. Even though we booked an inclusive venue that came with a day-of coordinator, I wanted to find a month-of coordinator/planner, because our wedding had quite a few moving parts, and I knew I would be overwhelmed if we didn't hire help. We were so excited when we met Jill; we knew immediately that she was "our people" and felt confident that she would be able to handle keeping all of our external vendors coordinated, our extra-large immediate families updated, as well as helping the venue staff set up our maker-themed wedding supplies and decor on the day of the event. Working with Jill as a wedding planner was easy and stress-free every step of the way. She was prepared to communicate in all the methods that were most comfortable for us (including shared Google sheets, emails, texts, and video chats), and was equipped to troubleshoot the handful of last-minute hiccups we encountered so that we did not need to worry about them. It is also worth noting that our venue's event coordinator reported that Jill was easy to collaborate with, both in terms of communication leading up to our wedding, and making all the magic happen on the date. We are also working with Jill in her role as a travel agent to plan our honeymoon for this coming winter.

nd her!

e budget we were working with. Jillian was always very transparent with us and kept us up to date with her work through pictures and email, so we could be a part of the process without actually doing the work ourselves! She was a lifesaver, and I’m so glad we were able to get her as our decorator. I highly recommend her to any soon-to-be-wed couple, especially if you're into pop culture! I know if we have another big event, we will hire her again!

s available to text and responded quickly. She coordinated with all our vendors and setup for the reception and thanks to her our wedding went off without a hitch. We had and Armenian wedding, which was outside her normal area of expertise and she was able to quickly adapt as if she’d done it a million times. Thank you so much Jill for helping us be able to take a step back and enjoy our big day! We couldn’t recommend Jill enough.

he was kind, compassionate, communicative, and had fantastic ideas from how to communicate with vendors to fitting decorations. Our event wouldn't have been such a success without her help.

me, helpful, a great listener, and wedding savvy. There were also other intangibles like taking photos/video of things at the venue when no photographer was around and using her creative eye to make the decorations pop. What also stood out was her energy - very easy going and low stress despite being very on top of everything. You don't realize how important that is until wedding stress starts to kick in! We had a very difficult situation the day before the wedding when we found out that our venue's elevator was broken and we may not be able to get our caterer to the correct floor. Somehow, day of, Jill was able to do some magic and everything went off without a hitch. She was perfect for what we needed and she event went above and beyond.

was always prompt and clear, which helped reduce our stress significantly. On our wedding day she was available for every little thing that came up - from helping with last-minute décor adjustments to coordinating with our vendors behind the scenes. What impressed us most was how she anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. She made sure we always had what we needed kept us on schedule without making us feel rushed, and was always one step ahead throughout the day. We couldn't recommend Jill more highly. She made our day run smoothly so we could focus on enjoying every moment of our wedding!

executed them to my exact specifications, helped finalize my timeline, did a great job communicating with vendors, and orchestrated a smooth load-out at the end of the evening. Shoutout especially to her honoring my last-minute request for fancy folded napkins - this detail turned out beautifully! Thanks to her efforts, our day went very smoothly. I would recommend Fantastical Adventures to anyone looking for to minimize their day-of stress and, especially if plans for their ceremony and reception are a "little different." Note the photos in this review are candids and we're still waiting for our professional photos - which I'm sure will be an even more beautiful testament to her work!

that every bride needs on such a special day. My day could not have gone better and that’s a huge thanks to Jill! I would 100% recommend her for anybody but especially those fun magical type weddings she really knows what she’s doing there!

ly thought out to create a seamless, professional, and utterly delightful celebration. The wedding beautifully reflected the couple’s nerdy passions and unique personalities. The decor was a perfect blend of elegance and fandom, with subtle nods to their favorite series and games tastefully incorporated throughout the venue. It was clear that the planners at Fantastical Adventures had a deep understanding of the couple’s interests and had executed their vision flawlessly. Everything ran like clockwork. The ceremony started on time, transitions between events were smooth, and we never felt rushed or left wondering what was happening next. The schedule was perfectly orchestrated, ensuring that we had plenty of time to enjoy each part of the celebration. The flowers and decorations were stunning, adding to the whimsical, nerdy atmosphere without being over the top. The signage, from the seating chart to the table numbers, was both creative and functional, guiding us effortlessly through the day. What stood out the most was how personal and unique the wedding felt. Fantastical Adventures clearly put in the effort to ensure the wedding was not just another event, but a true reflection of the couple. The entire day was filled with moments that made us smile and reminded us of the couple's love for each other and their shared interests. In short, Fantastical Adventures delivered a wedding that was both professionally executed and deeply personal. It was a perfect day that we, as guests, will always remember fondly. If you want a wedding that captures your essence and runs smoothly from start to finish, Fantastical Adventures is the way to go!
