We were recommended to Fancy This by a couple of friends who used the group for their wedding festivities. Our photography group was the hardest vendor for me to find, and I’m so h...

appy we found Fancy This! Sarah was our primary shooter and Nikki was able to be our second shooter! We got married on 1/31/26 in Raleigh and it snowed. The week leading up to our wedding I was so nervous about our vendors and guests’ ability to travel with the forecast. Nikki was always communicative and quick to respond to my questions or concerns. Given the snow on our wedding day, I reached out ahead of the event to make sure they still felt comfortable being able to make it as our photography group. Nikki and Sarah went above and beyond to make sure our photos happened. They booked a hotel downtown so they were safe and able to do the work! I’m so happy they were able to make this happen. Their talent and the snow made our photos so magical. During the event, Sarah and Nikki were great about interacting with our guests and capturing their authentic moments. Everyone was so comfortable, and we got so many comments on what fun Sarah and Nikki are. We also received our sneak peak within 24 hours before we left for our honeymoon. The speedy turn around was such a special way for us to keep reliving the high from our wedding day. There was also a wide array of photos from getting ready to couples/individual portraits to the reception which was a fun way to remember the entire day. The photos themselves are gorgeous. I never thought my husband and I could look so good. I am so excited to receive the full gallery in a few weeks and order prints from them. Out package also included a photo book and we purchased a larger framed print that I am so excited to choose. They were extremely flexible helping book our additional hour session that is part of our package too. Overall, we’re extremely happy with the work Nikki and Sarah did for us and we will treasure these photos for years to come. I’m so excited we found this group for our future photography needs. Thank you!!

our wedding day and beyond. The pictures Courtney and Amanda took truly captured the joy we felt and will help us remember such an amazing day. Our family and friends were raving how awesome their team was how comfortable they made them feel while taking photos. 10/10 would recommend.

To the incredible photography team, led by the talented Sarah with Sarah as her second shooter at Fancy This Photography, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for the stunning...

preview you shared with us in record time (within 24 hours of the wedding!). The way you flawlessly captured the essence of our special day is simply breathtaking! Your calm energy and quick-witted remarks kept us laughing throughout the evening, making the photography experience an absolute delight. Your invaluable assistance, from pinning boutonnieres to wrangling groomsmen, went above and beyond all expectations. We couldn't have made it through the day without your support. Our journey with Fancy This Photography began years ago when we first discovered their incredible work. Following them for four years filled us with complete confidence in their ability to create magic. Sarah, our lead photographer for both the engagement and wedding photos, brought a perfect blend of calm and witty energy to our big day. Her presence put us at ease, allowing her to capture the most precious moments. We must also mention the joy and enthusiasm that Sarah, the second shooter, brought to capturing unique and standout shots throughout the day. But the incredible experience didn't end there. Interacting with Nikki, the owner, on other projects was an absolute pleasure. Her infectious joy and unwavering support shine through in every interaction, making her a pillar of strength for everyone she encounters. Fancy This Photography has far surpassed our highest expectations. Their talent, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile have left an indelible mark on our hearts. From the very first click of the camera to the stunning preview we received, we were blown away by their exceptional artistry. If you're in search of a photography team that will not only capture the essence of your special day but also become cherished friends and supporters, look no further than Fancy This Photography. With their extraordinary talent, unwavering dedication, and genuine care, they will transform your wedding into unforgettable memories that you'll cherish for a lifetime.

otoshoot! My husband and I loved working with Sarah - she had wonderful ideas on poses and picture locations and truly captured us being ourselves (I did not feel like I was in a bunch of forced photos - they were so natural!) Sarah and Nikki were both involved in our wedding ceremony/reception and they did a fantastic job. They were so open to all of our crazy requests and did everything to capture the wedding perfectly. They also are familiar with a bunch of venues and other vendors in the wedding space, which makes coordination so much more straightforward! If you're looking for the best photographs to capture your wedding, work with Fancy This.

e moment we met them, they made us feel comfortable, excited, and heard. With a large wedding party, plus a large extended family, one thing I appreciated outside of their AMAZING photos was how they kept us on track from a timing perspective and help corral the crowd. It's also not often that the groom and groomsmen enjoy taking photos, but my husband and his groomsmen loved how Eden let their "creativity' soar (AKA less serious photos in the midst of the more traditional wedding photos). They all made the day so much more fun. We could not speak more positively about Nikki, Sarah, Eden, and the entire team, and would recommend them to anyone getting married. We sincerely hope we get the opportunity to work with them again.

I met Nikki at the Durham Food Hall during a bridal show. I entered the win a free engagement session thinking that I would be the last person to win, but I got an email two days l...

ater informing me that I won! Nikki is such a radiant human being and it shows in her work as a photographer. From the beginning she met with me virtually to get to know me/fiancé and we brainstormed ideas for backdrops. It was such a collaborative process and as a couple, we had never had our photos taken. All of anxiety of being in front of the camera went away the moment Nikki snapped the first picture. She made it fun and best of all, the photos are AMAZING!!!

Where do I begin?! Let me start with... I am not photogenic. I hate taking photos. I was not looking forward to any of the photography processes but Fancy This Photography made all...

our dreams come true! Nikki took our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, wedding photos, and an additional mini shoot photo. At every shoot, she genuinely listened to our ideas, made us feel comfortable, and creatively came up with unique ways to enhance shots. The photos came out better than we could have ever imagined. I never felt like I was taking photos with Nikki. I felt like we were hanging out with a best friend that kept us laughing the entire time. I was lucky to meet Samantha at our wedding (as the second shooter) and she is wonderful as well! They both are so supportive, make you feel so confident, and are a blast to be around!

ng to worry about! With her incredible talent, what might have seemed like an unfortunate forecast actually became the backdrop to magical pictures. In fact, everyone who sees our pictures can't believe how gorgeous they are! When looking for a photographer, I wanted someone who could capture more of the natural and candid moments, and Samantha did a stellar job at that. But the magic of Fancy This doesn't stop there. With Nikki at the helm, they also have just about the best customer service you can imagine! In a hectic wedding planning season, her warmth and enthusiasm were such a gift. Not to mention her thoughtfulness at every turn! I would wholeheartedly recommend Fancy This Photography. They not only capture amazing images, but they're an absolute joy to work with in the process!

e great, but my favorites were from the reception--she and Eden captured such wonderful photos of all the dancing that looking at the photos is almost like reliving the experience. I would definitely recommend Nikki to a friend; if you choose her to photograph your wedding, you won't regret it!

Fancy This Photography were a delight to work with. Nikki and Samantha are lovely ladies to work with and always prompt with their emails and follow-ups. We had a simple elopement ...

at a local courthouse and a photoshoot afterwards. Samantha did a wonderful job capturing our special day. She was warm and friendly. I’m really awkward in front of a camera but you couldn’t tell from the pictures. I’ve had nothing but compliments about our pictures from everyone I know. I’m so glad they were able to work with us on such a short timeframe and be our photographers. I wouldn’t have changed a thing! Great job ladies!!!

Nikki was the best! I couldn't believe the day after our wedding she had emailed us 50 photos already and they were amazing. There is a trend in wedding photography for washed out ...

"romantic" colors but I wanted the opposite - full colored images that are bright bold and make an impact and Nikki delivered. In addition, she was just very easy to work with. She worked so quickly with the group family shots and just knocked those out. For solo shots just the groom and me, we felt very comfortable and at ease. There was limited direction which was nice, feels like she captured more natural images that won't feel so staged.

Kimberly Guin in the last week Fancy This Photography helped capture my wedding during a last minute emergency. My original photographer broke her ankle less than 24 hours before ...

my big day. This could have been a wedding disaster that was remembered through the years. However, Nikki with Fancy This stepped in and made a seamless transition. She and her husband were personable and professional. They were on top of everything despite having never met me. With one phone call the night before and a list created by my sister, Fancy This filled in beautifully and captured the most amazing photos of my wedding. Everyone in the family and all my friends are raving about the images she captured. My husband and I are thrilled and so thankful that Fancy This came to our rescue.

s bubbly, energetic and professional and I was so excited she wanted to use her film camera for our wedding! We also got digital versions of our pictures as well. My husband is not a fan of taking pictures but Niki directed us and made the process easy, fun and effortless. When we got our photos back, I was over the moon with how dreamy and perfect they all were. Our big day was captured in a way that it will be difficult to choose what pictures I will put up in my house! I definitely recommend Fancy This Photography for any of your photo needs and I am proud to say that I will be using Fancy This Photography for any other event I have in the future.
