making sure the day itself ran seamlessly. Faith is also a friend, which made having her involved in such an important part of our lives even more special. At the same time, she was incredibly professional throughout the entire process and brought so much organization, knowledge, and calm to what would otherwise be a pretty overwhelming experience. She is amazing at keeping track of all the moving pieces that go into a wedding. She helped us research and coordinate vendors, kept everything organized, and guided us through decisions whenever we weren’t sure what to do next or what questions we should be asking. On the wedding day, Faith and her team handled all of the behind-the-scenes details so that Nic and I could actually relax and enjoy ourselves. After spending a year planning together, it was such a great feeling knowing everything was in the hands of someone we completely trusted. We feel incredibly lucky that we got to have such a talented planner by our side. Faith was an invaluable part of our wedding, and we’re so grateful for everything she did to make the entire experience so special.

arrived, we felt enormous relief. They immediately stepped in to solve problems, coordinate vendors, manage event labor, and make sure everyone had what they needed. Our onsite team worked incredibly hard, and the wedding-day execution was organized, timely, and professional. However, our experience with the planning services leading up to the wedding was a bit more stressful. We hired Faith & Co. for partial planning five months out and came into the process with much of the wedding already designed and organized. We completed questionnaires, attended biweekly meetings, shared our materials, and were consistently available and responsive. Faith was initially very empathetic and reassuring and was helpful communicating with vendors. However, as we entered the final month, important timelines and planning materials remained incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate, and promised updates did not always arrive. About three weeks before the wedding, we raised our concerns. Faith assured us our previously agreed-upon August 8 planning freeze would be met. When it became clear the materials would not be finalized by then, the meaning of the “freeze” was reframed and completion pushed back. While this may have been a miscommunication, August 8 had consistently been communicated for months as our planning deadline. When we expressed disappointment and asked for greater follow-through, we felt the response became defensive. Faith told us at different points that nothing she did seemed to satisfy us, that we weren't letting her plan the wedding, and that she believed the trust between us was irreparable. This was upsetting because our concerns three weeks before the wedding were about concrete deliverables, accuracy, and previously established expectations. Ultimately, we wrote a wedding timeline ourselves so we would have an accurate version to reference and share with our families. We also spent significant time reviewing materials for errors and ensuring details were synchronized across vendors. As an event planner professionally myself, I understand that every planner has a different workflow and some details naturally evolve close to an event. However, waiting until the final two weeks to prepare or substantially update foundational operational materials was not what we expected from five months of partial-planning support. A more fluid, last-minute process may work well for some couples, but it caused us considerable stress. Importantly, the materials did come together during the final week and were, for the most part, thorough and accurate. Our onsite experience was excellent. The team worked incredibly hard and helped bring our vision to life. They also held a detailed meeting with our caterer to proactively align everyone; although the caterer ultimately failed to execute several details, we view those as catering failures rather than planning failures. Ultimately, our wedding was wonderful. Our experience with Faith & Co. was mixed: we were extremely grateful for the week-of and onsite execution, but disappointed at times with the planning process leading up to it. Couples who prefer foundational details finalized well ahead of wedding week should have a very explicit conversation upfront about timelines, communication, and deliverables.
