Kendall is a seasoned wedding baker who worked for nine years at a renowned wedding bakery before branching out on her own. Her company, Fairytale Cakes by Kendall, is aptly named, as she has a particular talent and interest in producing Disney-inspired sweet treats and designs inspired by fairytales. From modern marbled designs and dark icing to classic tiered cakes complete with floral decor, she tailors her talents to each client's wishes.
You can schedule a virtual consultation with Kendall via email, Zoom, or by phone. During this time, Kendall will endeavor to find out about your theme, color scheme, and personal vision for your wedding cake. Next, she will draw up a proposal for you to approve based on your design pointers and requests. She arranges cake tastings via collection, so you can sample sumptuous flavors before making your final choice. On the day, she oversees delivery and setup at wedding venues. Other products available with this company include dessert buffets and cupcakes.

I hired Kendall for my wedding cake and cupcakes. While the dessert itself was satisifactory, the communication was horrendous. I was not made aware of the moving of my contract to...
another vendor until the day before my wedding when I noticed I had not heard for this business. When I finally contacted the provided email and phone number, the incorrect email was listed in the signature of previous communications through honeybook so I received a bounceback email and all numbers were disconnected or not able to receive voicemails. When I did finally get the correct email (missing a letter in the signature and found on honeybook), I receive an automated email about Kendall no longer being in business and that she would be working with a new bakery.
This lead me to believe that my contract was broken and I would not have any wedding cake or desserts that I had paid for in full months prior. I never received any communication prior to reaching out to confirm delivery and going through the game of phone tag and incorrect emails. I let my venue know to not allow other brides to continue work with this person and attempted to contact the new bakery listed in the automated email.
Once I was able to make contact with the bakery, I was able to confirm that I would in fact have the cake and cupcakes for my reception. I let them know about how I was not aware of any movement of contract nor confirmation of delivery. Unfortunately, this has left a bitter taste in my mouth and I will not be able to recommend any future work from this business or individual.
Kendall is the real deal when it comes to all things cake. I have worked alongside her as a fellow vendor and her familiarity/experience with wedding venues all across the Columbus...
region has been so appreciated. She is down to earth and dedicated to making a great product for her clients.
It's a shame that the vendor dropped the ball in every other area as the desserts were fantastic and we got a lot of compliments on the taste of the cake and icing - delicious but ...
not overly sweet. However, our entire order ended up being wrong: the cupcakes were not decorated like we hoped/like the picture provided, we requested chocolate on the large cupcakes and vanilla on the minis and got vanilla on the large and poppyseed on the minis, and we ordered an almond raspberry cake with extra almond flavor - I couldn't tell if there was almond flavor or not, and there was not any raspberry filling whatsoever. Communication with the vendor was also difficult, sometimes waiting a week with multiple emails from me before hearing back. In addition, the vendor arrived 2 hrs. later than promised to deliver the cake on the day of. Getting all of this rectified has also been a nightmare as it's been 2 months since the wedding with multiple attempts at outreach to the vendor and still waiting for the partial refund to come through even though the refund amount is not what we requested. Dealing with this has caused way more stress than necessary. Do not recommend.

Kendall created a beautiful cake for our intimate Wedding. She even recommended the style of decor and it was a perfect fit for our event. We had lemon with blueberries and almond ...
with raspberry flavors. Our guests raved about the lemon cake and my favorite is almond. I would highly recommend having Kendall create a one of a kind cake for your next event, big or small!
