re so glad we did! Jamie and her incredibly talented team were amazing. When the cold weather blew in, they responded immediately and moved our party indoors without missing a beat. The fresh floral tablescape from Flower Factory was absolutely stunning. We brought in our own catering and bartender, and the flow of the evening was seamless. Our team LOVED the game room, and the entire home felt like a warm hug around us all night long — cozy, welcoming, and perfect for our close-knit crew to celebrate the year. I’m only giving a 2 star review due to the beauty of the venue and speed at with the event staff responded (at first). We are extremely disappointed with the venue and its staff due to the AC not working except in the honeymoon suite up top. We...
had a lot of people in the house who were elderly or children. In fact over a 1/3 of our guests were older or children. The house got up to 86 degrees and we were told that due to the ovens being on and doors opened that it was unable to cool down but it didn’t cool down even after all those were off for several hours. After I nicely told Allison how disappointed we were, we were told they had “been too booked and busy” to get someone out. Honestly I know for me personally I wouldn’t have minded someone there to fix the ac during my event. Due to the heat my makeup hadn’t set right and instead of enjoying my one and only wedding day I was stressed about all of my guests being hot and a lot of people stayed in their cars to cool off, I was extremely embarrassed. Most of our guests left right after the ceremony due to heat and therefore we wasted so much money on cake, champagne and wedding favors as well as our wedding party couldn’t sleep downstairs due to heat. I at first had recommended this venue to my clients due to how fast I was responded to and being able to book for my wedding a month out but have since revoked my recommendation. I wish I would have just kept our wedding in a backyard and let people sweat there or something else instead of paying all this money for no communication about the AC and not even a response back after expressing my concerns or given any solutions…. after all this is my one wedding day and I don’t get that experience back.
