About this vendor
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Houston, Texas, Exquisite Photo & Video stands as a beacon of artistic excellence in the realm of wedding photography and videography. Born from the shared dreams and camaraderie of three best friends – Alberto, Gerardo, and Melvin – our venture began in 2018 with a simple yet profound vision: to encapsulate the beauty, emotion, and intimacy of love stories through the power of imagery.
Having met in the bustling streets of Houston, our trio discovered a mutual passion for the art of visual storytelling. United by a shared ethos and boundless creativity, we embarked on a journey that has seen us documenting over 60 weddings each year. Our collective expertise and seamless synergy allow us to approach every wedding with fresh eyes, ensuring that no two love stories are captured in the same light.
At the core of our photography philosophy lies a blend of candid, photojournalistic, and documentary techniques. However, what truly sets our work apart is our distinct color aesthetic – a harmonious fusion of timeless, bright, light, and airy tones. This signature style not only adds a touch of ethereal elegance to our photographs but also serves as a visual testament to the enduring nature of love and commitment.
Complementing our photography prowess is our videography arm, where we specialize in crafting cinematic narratives infused with romance and authenticity. Drawing inspiration from the unique love story of each couple, we weave together moments, emotions, and memories to create films that are as enchanting as they are enduring.
At Exquisite Photo & Video, we believe that every love story is a masterpiece waiting to be told. With dedication, passion, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, we strive to create visual legacies that resonate with beauty, emotion, and timeless elegance. Join us on this incredible journey, and let us transform your special day into a captivating tale that you'll cherish forever.

We met Melvin at the Houston Bridal Expo and immediately fell in love with his work! From the very beginning, he was easy to work with, explained his contract and payment options, ...
and even helped us build our wedding day timeline to make sure we got all the photos we wanted.
On the wedding day, he showed up on time with a great attitude and kept everyone laughing! He was amazing at directing the wedding party, paying attention to the smallest details (including making sure the bride's dress was perfectly fanned out for every picture!), and making everyone feel comfortable. When our timeline didn't go exactly as planned, Melvin rolled with the changes and helped guide us through them. He even took the time to encourage members of the bridal party who were nervous about giving their speeches. That alone says a lot about the kind of person he is! To top it all off, our photos were delivered right on time, and they turned out ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!
Melvin, we appreciate you more than you know! You made the day easier, kept us laughing, and gave us some amazing memories to look back on. We're so glad we chose you, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone!

to and Video has passion for what they do. Our photos came before we expected them to and Melvin captured details of our wedding day for us to look back and remember perfectly. After seeing the photos, we feel like we were able to not just be bride and groom but to see how every one of our guests felt at our wedding. My husband and I really enjoyed working with Melvin as he brought life to our photos, made us laugh, and more importantly gave us even more beautiful memories to remember. I recommend them 100% for anyone who wants to be secure and trust that the vision they have for their wedding will come out to be better than what they have imagined.

Our wedding day was full of so many emotions, and they captured every single moment so beautifully. The pictures are STUNNING and honestly better than I could have imagined. Every time someone saw our photos, they kept telling me, “Your photographer was phenomenal! Where did you find him?” 😂 And I couldn’t agree more!

I will forever be grateful that they were the ones who captured such an important day for us. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, BOOK THEM! You will not regret it. 🤍📸

We were a little nervous about the weather, but he helped guide us through it and turned it into something beautiful — the photos came out with such a modern, clean, almost editorial vibe that we absolutely love.
He was also amazing with our kids and captured both the fun, candid moments and the more intimate shots between my fiancé and I perfectly. Nothing felt forced — everything felt natural and effortless.
The attention to detail, the locations he chose, and his ability to bring our vision to life (even better than we imagined) truly set him apart.
If you’re looking for someone who can capture real moments while still giving you that elevated, artistic look Melvin is your person! We are beyond happy with our photos and can’t wait to work with him again.
I cannot say enough good things about EXQUISITE Photo & Video. I had never hired a videographer before and didn’t really know what to expect, but they walked us through every step ...
with such care and clarity. Their regular check-ins before the wedding helped me stay calm and organized. On the wedding day, they blended into the background yet managed to capture everything—from the nervous excitement while getting ready to the emotional toasts at the reception. The microphones they used made a huge difference—our vows sounded so clear in the final video. My guests kept asking who they were because they were so sweet and professional. I got the final video just three weeks later and it brought back every feeling from that day.
My wedding day was filled with emotion, and EXQUISITE Photo & Video managed to preserve all of it so naturally and beautifully. From day one, they were responsive, thoughtful, and ...
always one step ahead. They sent regular emails to check in and provide planning tips, which made me feel very supported. On the big day, they were such a calming presence—I was surprisingly relaxed because I knew I was in good hands. They didn’t miss a beat, from the vows to our dance floor shenanigans. My friends and family loved how professional and fun they were. Our final video was ready in three and a half weeks, and I’ve watched it at least ten times already. They are beyond talented!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Melvin for our engagement and wedding photos, and we can’t recommend him enough! My husband and I were both really nervous about being in front of the camera since we’re both pretty shy and awkward when it comes to pictures, but Melvin made us feel totally comfortable. He walked us through easy, natural poses and helped us every step of the way. His ability to make us feel at ease made a huge difference!
Melvin is not only super sweet, flexible, and friendly but also extremely professional. He listened to our needs, made us laugh during the shoot, and helped keep everything light and fun. His attention to detail and ability to capture beautiful moments is AMAZING! He knows exactly how to work with different people, finding the best angles and poses, and he’s super consistent in delivering stunning shots.
We were especially impressed by his ability to handle our tight schedule. During the wedding, when my girls and I were running behind, Melvin was quick to notice the timing issues and immediately reworked the schedule so that we didn’t miss any important photos. His ability to stay calm, organized, and flexible in the middle of a wedding day was truly impressive. He even helped us make sure we got all the shots we wanted—if you can give him more time for your photos, you definitely won’t regret it!
Also, Melvin absolutely knows how to shoot special moments like tea ceremonies. He was able to seamlessly integrate this important part of our wedding into our photo schedule without skipping a beat.
If you're looking for a photographer who knows how to get the perfect shot, works well with your schedule, and makes you feel completely comfortable throughout the process, Melvin is absolutely the best. We’re so glad we chose him, and we’d recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat!

The best part? They delivered the photos the very next day, and they came out stunning! I highly recommend Exquisite Photo & Video for anyone looking to capture special moments beautifully.
I definitely recommend Melvin as your Photographer and videographer. As a curvy bride, I struggle with body image issues. So I am VERY picky about photographer. Melvin listened to ...
my concerns and works with me to help ease each of my concerns. He coached us through every pose and made us feel completely comfortable. Even though I had so much worried and anxiety before the shoot, he made it so easy and FUN!
After the wedding, we asked for edited videos and he was so patient with our request. At the end, we have EXACTLY what we wanted, and had so much fun during the process. Our friends and family were very impressed by the pictures and video.
Go with Melvin, you won't go wrong. 10/10 in my book.

deography, and I couldn't have been more pleased. The turnaround time was astonishing; I received the edited photos and videos in less than a week. The quality of the work was simply stunning - vibrant, clear, and professionally done, capturing every special moment beautifully. They managed to make both events feel magical through their lens. I was genuinely surprised and thrilled with how good everything turned out. Exquisite Photo & Video truly delivered beyond my expectations, making our celebrations unforgettable.
I’m Jessica, and I got married on September 14th in Houston, TX. Mata (our videographer) and Marli (our photographer) from the Exquisite Photo & Video team were absolutely amazing!...
From the start, they were on point. They texted me when they were on their way and again when they arrived, which gave me peace of mind on such a busy day. They immediately got to work, capturing drone footage and taking detailed shots of my accessories, making sure no moment or detail was overlooked.
Throughout the day, they were the perfect mix of professional and fun, keeping the energy up while being super easy to work with. They were also incredibly flexible with the timeline, adjusting seamlessly when things ran a little off schedule (because, let’s face it, weddings rarely go perfectly as planned!).
The photos and videos? AMAZING. I received 512 beautifully edited photos and nearly 4,000 unedited ones—and even the unedited ones were fantastic. The wedding highlights video blew me away! It’s cinematic, emotional, and truly captured the essence of my wedding day.
I’m so glad I booked Mata and Marli. They made my wedding memories come to life in the most beautiful way. Highly recommend them to any bride! A happy bride here—thank you, Mata & Marli!
Words cannot express how great Leslie and Melvin are. Great ideas that added value to the reception! Beautiful photos and a quick return

ised. Big shoutout to Gerardo for stepping up and helping out the whole day since I didn't have a wedding coordinator. He talked to everyone – the church folks, the venue people, even the DJ. It made everything run super smooth.
Before the big day, I chatted with Melvin, and he sorted out a timeline for us. It was a game-changer and made sure we didn't miss a beat.
I found these guys on TikTok and was blown away by how fast they got back to me. The best part? I got my photos in just five days and the video two weeks later. And let me tell you, even though they were quick, the quality is top-notch. Every pic feels special, and the video? Man, it gets me every time. It's like I'm back at my wedding day, feeling all the feels.
So yeah, big thanks to the Exquisite team. They're the real deal, and I can't recommend them enough! 📸🎥💍👌
