Michael from Expressions of Music was absolutely PIVOTAL in our wedding day!!! He cares so deeply about the bride and groom having the wedding of their dreams. He spares no detail,...
he was intentional, and he provided us with resources so we could be the most prepared for our day. I didn’t have to worry, Michael is an incredible professional who would do anything in his power to make sure the day goes right. He is creative, gave us ideas of how to help with the flow of the reception entrance (some of us are awkward and need help!) but without being pushy about his ideas! He helped foster the most seamless, beautiful day I could’ve ever dreamed of. Thank you Michael! 5 stars aren’t enough!
Michael was beyond professional, and was more helpful than I could ask for. Michael did more than a normal DJ would, and did his best to ensure that our wedding night went as smoot...

Not only is Michael a professional who cares very much for his job, he was a blast! Excellent song choices, and helped make sure that the dance floor was as active as possible. 10000% recommend!

Our guests were raving about how much fun they had and how great the DJ was. Michael was prompt, professional, and attentive throughout the planning process. He made sure to keep in touch and was flexible with any last-minute changes we had. It was obvious to us that Michael has tons of experience and thought of things we wouldn't have otherwise. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and would recommend him to anyone planning a wedding!
We opted to add the photo booth and would absolutely recommend it. Our guests had a blast and we got so many compliments on how fun it was (and how awesome the photo booth attendant was!). It was so nice being able to book all the MCing, music, and photo booth through one vendor; it made the planning process smoother and was less to worry about.
Thank you Michael for making our special day even more memorable!

ur very first communication with Mike, it was obvious that he wanted nothing more than to help create the perfect day for us to remember. He went out of his way to ensure we were happy and satisfied with the details and order of events of the reception. We told him our main goal was to have our guests dancing and grooving all night long- and he delivered just that! He also had creative suggestions to recreate wedding reception classics that our guests are still raving about. We are still receiving compliments about how great the reception was, and we would HIGHLY recommend Mike for any occasion you might need :)

Even the most unlikely people kept raving about the quality of DJ Michael Hale--people who are not into partying, or loud music! Michael made sure that everything was running smoot...
hly at the reception, so he wasn’t just in charge of the music. From when cocktails ended to the cake cutting to the speeches to ensuring people lined up in time for meals--he took care of it all. It was such a blessing to have someone take care of all of that.
Of course the music was great--we asked for a good mix of all time hits--from the 50s all the way to today and he delivered! Even our grandmothers were impressed at the selection, so he made sure to cater to every age group, and it wasn’t boring for any of the others. He brought inflatable toys and lights, which were a nice addition, and had unique games for us to play when we wanted a break from the dancing.
Definitely recommend if you want more than just a DJ and more than just the usual dancing and events at your reception.

asked for from a DJ. We were more than impressed. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. His experience was more than obvious throughout the entire event. I have had guests calling and emailing me almost daily since our wedding (2 weeks ago) telling me how great our entertainment was and how that was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding. I will absolutely use him for any events that require entertainment in the future! The playlist was amazing. He followed all our requests to a T and his interaction with the guests was impressive.
