Our venue had a preferred list of coordinators that we had to choose from for our wedding so we went with Exceptional Events almost solely for the fact that she had a very basic da...
y of package and she listed all of the services that came with it. For someone that’s never been in a wedding before it was hard to grasp what all a coordinator does, so it was nice to see it all laid out. I didn’t need a ton of help but definitely wanted someone there day of to keep everything under control. After speaking with Kaitlyn and getting an idea of our expectations of each other we decided to book with her. She was super organized, helpful and prompt whenever we had questions and was flexible with us regarding method of payment. Although Kaitlyn was handling everything up until the rehearsal, Allie was our day of coordinator. She was absolutely amazing. I seriously could not have asked for someone better. She kept the timeline on point, came to check on us multiple times throughout the day to make sure we were feeling good, she even helped me pick out and arrange the floral buds I got from my florist for the cake- that definitely was not in her job description! She was super easy going and fun but was able to switch that off and be assertive when family members weren’t paying attention to instructions. She made our day as easy as it could have been and we even got compliments from family members on how awesome Allie was. I would (and already have) definitely recommend Kaitlyn, Allie and Exceptional Events to anyone!

th Kaitlyn about our big day, to the rehearsal to the day of. She made all of our dreams come true and without her nothing would have went as smoothly as it did. Her team she had working the day of we’re on top of things. Making sure things I didn’t need to be worried about were not even on my radar. I cannot thank her enough for her dedication and hard work, and would not recommend any one else to do the job!

d what we expected. She is "hip" with the times (made our snapchat filter!) and is knowledgable without a doubt with her prior expertise - education related and self experience. We requested day-of services, but she was so open in communication with us weeks in advance. She was sincere in simply answering any questions we had when it came to our vendors and even easing my stress level. On our wedding day, her team stepped up and made sure things were done, like making sure we were able to try our specialty drinks, ensuring the flow of the ceremony/bridal party/reception was present, and I was told they put out some fires I wasn't aware of (which is how it should be). She does it all, and with the best rate I KNOW we wouldn't have gotten anywhere else. If you're getting married in North Carolina, Kaitlyn and her team with Exceptional Events will be your best choice if you want the perfect wedding day.
