I had a very disappointing experience with Everlasting Bridal. I purchased my wedding dress and paid in full, including a $175 seamstress appointment fee. I was told they wou...
ld speak with the seamstress to try to get me in quickly, and I was also instructed to contact her myself, which I did.
Unfortunately, our schedules did not align, and the seamstress eventually canceled an appointment due to weather. She later reached out to reschedule, but by that point I was frustrated with how the situation had unfolded and did not respond. I acknowledge that, but I still never received alterations or completed an appointment.
My biggest concern became retrieving my wedding dress. I had left it at the store believing my alterations would be arranged. I messaged the owner asking whether the store would be open so I could pick up my dress, but I received no response. When I called twice, the owner answered in a tone that I felt was dismissive and told me she would call me back after church. She never called me back.
I then had to message again to arrange a time to retrieve my own wedding dress, which I had already paid for in full. Eventually, the owner added the seamstress to a group chat. Thankfully, the seamstress was helpful and arranged to bring my dress back to the bridal shop so I could pick it up.
I understand that scheduling conflicts happen, and I take responsibility for not responding to the seamstress’s rescheduling message. However, I believe communication and customer service should be much better, especially when a bride is trying to coordinate alterations and retrieve her paid-for wedding dress. Having to repeatedly reach out just to get a response and arrange pickup added unnecessary stress to an already important time in my life.
Overall, this experience was disappointing and stressful. I hope Everlasting Bridal improves its communication and customer service so other brides have a better experience.
To make matters worse, after I finally retrieved my wedding dress and inspected it at home, I discovered that it was ripped. This was extremely upsetting after all the difficulty I had experienced just trying to arrange pickup and get my dress back. I cannot say exactly when the damage occurred, but finding a rip after retrieving my dress added even more stress to an already disappointing experience.
Everlasting Bridal is absolutely amazing! Amy and Jennifer were simply the best.
We found ourselves in a last-minute wedding emergency when another bridal vendor dropped the ball o...
n a rhinestone headpiece that the bride needed for the very next day. In a frantic search for a replacement, we were driving all over not from Georgia and even ended up at the wrong bridal shop that was closed. Frustrated and running out of time, we asked neighboring businesses if they knew where the bridal shop we were looking for had moved. One kind young woman immediately recommended Everlasting Bridal, sharing that her cousin had worked with them and had an incredible experience.
Since Everlasting Bridal was about 45 minutes away and we were getting close to closing time, we called ahead to make sure they would still be open and hopefully have something suitable. Amy didn't just answer our questions, she went above and beyond. Before we even arrived, she and her team sent photos of several headpiece options, and once we arrived they FaceTimed with the bride, and made thoughtful recommendations to ensure she selected the perfect piece for her wedding day. Their attention to detail and willingness to help from a distance immediately put us at ease.
The bride was thrilled with her choice, and honestly felt it was even more beautiful in person than in the photos and FaceTime.
Amy and her team could have easily turned us away because of the time, but instead they welcomed us with kindness, grace, and genuine care. I'd love to believe this level of service was exclusively for me (wink, wink), but it clearly isn't. While we were there, a bridesmaid came in just minutes before closing needing last-minute alterations. Jennifer immediately stepped in and worked her magic like Cinderella's Fairy Godmother. Despite it being the end of a long day, she gave the bridesmaid the same care, patience, and attention she had given everyone else.
These women are full of love and dedication. They genuinely care about making sure your special day is everything you've dreamed of and more. Their passion for helping brides shines through in every detail, and they speak life, encouragement, and joy over each person who walks through their doors.
The selection of dresses and accessories is beautiful and offers something for every style. I cannot wait to work with them again.
If you're looking for a bridal boutique that truly cares, go experience Everlasting Bridal. You'll find more than gorgeous gowns and accessories; you'll experience love in the details and a team committed to making your day one you'll remember forever.
