all the decisions we had to make, and checked in with us to remind us of deadlines so nothing fell through the cracks.  We got married at the Boston Public Library in winter. One of the reasons we chose Victoria was she was excited about our wedding from the beginning. She seemed confident throughout the process of planning this event. When we wanted a few things that were different from the norm, she was very happy to help us find the perfect vendors. For instance, we loved the idea of bold, moody floral arrangements with a secret garden vibe. The typical white wedding flowers and round bouquets were not our style. Victoria listened carefully to what we were looking for, suggested florists and helped us find the vendor Fleur. Molly with Fleur completely saw our vision and the execution was perfect. Likewise, when we were looking for our photographer, we wanted high contrast photos with a chiaroscuro vibe. We weren’t seeing that in the portfolios of local wedding photographers, so Victoria searched more broadly and found our photographer Paige Riggle who is Ohio based, but was able to travel to Boston for us. Rather than telling us what we wanted was “wrong,” Victoria simply helped us execute our vision with refinement and elegance. On our actual wedding day, we quickly realized we didn’t have to worry about anything. Victoria would cue us when we needed to be somewhere. She even gave us quick and simple instructions about how to cut our wedding cake without messing it up! If anything went wrong behind the scenes, we were never aware of it. We were assisted in ways we didn’t even know we would need. For instance, you really don’t know how immobile you are in a wedding dress until you’ve spent some time in one! When we were taking photos, Victoria’s assistant Kay trailed behind me like a friendly ghost, holding my long train and veil so I could move around easily. She also held my bouquet whenever I needed it, and I never had to worry that I put it down somewhere and forgot it. After the ceremony, Victoria quickly bustled my dress and removed my veil, while making sure our officiant filled out the correct paperwork, and then sent me up to cocktail hour. After dinner, Victoria helped me quickly take off my lace up shoes, get out of my wedding dress, and change into my dancing dress. It was so clear that Victoria was completely in her element throughout our wedding day - I never saw her stressed out or frazzled. Everything was set up perfectly and everything happened on time like clockwork.  After the wedding was over, Victoria reminded my husband and I not to forget my purse and his wallet and phone. But these were the only things we had to bring ourselves! We arrived back to our hotel with an assortment of packaged food that Victoria had brought over from dinner and dessert, including slices of our wedding cake. Victoria had also placed our marriage certificate on the bed so we wouldn’t miss it. All of the cards our guests gave us were there, and she had hung my wedding dress and veil up inside its carrying bag. On our wedding day, we didn’t have to do anything except show up and have a wonderful time.  We highly recommend Victoria and Everlasting Affairs for any event planning needs you may have. She is an expert, and she seems to love what she does.

MORE so during our wedding weekend! Vic was extremely reliable over call/text/email from the moment we came on board. She was organized and did not forget a single detail. When we were faced with challenges, she was supportive and helpful in working through solutions while always respecting us as a couple. When it came to our wedding weekend she did not skip a single beat, had everything and everyone (even the groomsmen!) under control. If something went wrong, we didn't even notice because Vic and team were prepared for anything. The entire weekend and set up was exactly how we pictured it thanks to Vic and her team! It feels strange not talking to her 24/7 anymore but we already can't wait to cross paths with her again, when she plans our siblings' future weddings :)

She continually checked in to ask how we were doing and if there was anything she could help with. Whenever I emailed or texted her, I felt like I was talking to a friend who had my back!! About two months before the wedding, Victoria and her team take the reins. She reaches out to all the vendors behind the scenes to confirm the details and timelines. I can say, with 100% confidence, I was not stressed leading up to the wedding. And it is because I knew Victoria had all the details and she would execute. All the things you bring to the wedding (jewelry, binder for readings, candles, programs, favors, signage, escort cards) you hand off to Victoria and forget about. Every item will be exactly where it is supposed to be when the time comes, because Victoria made sure it was there! Victoria ran our wedding rehearsal and every member of the bridal party knew exactly what to do and where to be! She is kind and fun and will keep everyone in line. On the wedding day, she is calm cool and collected, and is mostly behind the scenes working her magic. When we needed her, she or a member of her team was close by to grab. She checked in with me throughout the night if I needed anything, she helped me travel from first look with my dad to first look with the groom, helped gather family members for photos, had tissues when I needed them, kept us on schedule (without me knowing), helped the photographer gather items for detail photos, cued us all walking for the ceremony, and so much more. She did all this AND made sure every design/organization detail was perfect. Superwoman! I would like to say again that Victoria feels like a friend through the process of planning a wedding. Victoria and Emily as soon as we decided upon a date. Victoria started to assist with the beginning, but eventually had Emily handle the rest of our special day. Between picking a venue, deciding on foods, presentation, and everything else that comes with a wedding you can certainly lose your mind. With Emily and Victoria's help and guidance our minds were put at ease and any stress that could come with planning would disappear with a simple question. With the road paved for us all we had to do was walk it with the confidence that this amazing company would handle any and all troubles that tried to find a way to us. With that we get to the day of and to say the very least it was everything we wanted and more. Emily not only managed to make sure the plan stayed on track, but did so in a way that if any bumps occurred they could be smoothed out right away. The night went off without a hitch and I could not be more thankful. Although my health did take a plummet at the end of the night, due to me not being aware of my lack of intake, Emily was able to help put my Wife at ease and make sure I got the medical assistance I needed to get better. I was able to make it back on to my feet for one final slow dance before everyone disbursed and am extremely thankful of everything that this company and Emily had done for me. But where the team shone even more was on the day of the wedding—everything went so smoothly and it left us free to actually enjoy the time with friends and family (and each other!) at all points. The few times something did happen that needed attention (for example, the bustle on my dress broke during the reception), Victoria was there immediately with a plan and fixed it right away. We had multiple people ask us who our planner was because everything went so seamlessly and it was obvious how much behind-the-scenes work had gone in to make that happen. Long story short, I think someone said this in another review, but the best choice I made for the wedding other than the groom was hiring Everlasting Affairs. You won’t regret it!

With a guest list of around 180 people, the logistics could have been overwhelming, but Emily handled everything with professionalism. She was responsive and communicative throughout the planning process. One of the highlights of our wedding was undoubtedly the live band, and we owe that fantastic find to Emily. The result was an incredible atmosphere that had everyone on their feet, dancing and enjoying the celebration. I was very on the fence when we had booked our original venue that they would be able to run the show without any issues, so we had a discussion with Victoria. We knew we had to have her for our big day and booked for month of / day of services. When our first venue fell through, Victoria went above and beyond to calm our nerves and help us decide next steps. She checks in monthly leading up to your day, and although she is incredibly busy, she’ll always make time for you within reason :) She handles communication with your vendors month of, and provides the most beautifully detailed timeline which immediately helped with my anxiety. Victoria is tiny but MIGHTY. On the actual day of our wedding, she wrangled the groomsmen and was able to keep us on time even with some delays on my end. She quickly jumped in to fix my dress when I was getting it on, helped me bustle my dress after the ceremony was done. She checked in on us throughout our wedding to remind us of our timeline and just make sure we were okay. If anything did go wrong during our day, I had no idea because Victoria likely fixed it immediately. My husband and I cannot share enough gratitude when it comes to Victoria. She went to the venue early with her team member to to set up everything- like candles, favors, centerpieces, and decorations- which we had handed over the night before after rehearsal (which she also helped run), and also did all of the cleanup afterwards. This was huge because we'd brought in a bunch of homemade pieces, and some tall centerpieces requiring assembly. It was so nice not having to burden a family member with this. She is charismatic, easygoing, has a great sense of humor, is knowledgeable, experienced, not afraid to speak her mind, and gives the right suggestions when they're needed. If you need help planning and/or coordinating your wedding day, hire Victoria!

I was a full on type-A, DIY *everything* bride. I coordinate events for a living, spent 7+ years working in the hospitality industry (2 of which included working weddings) AND my venue came with its own day of person. I am sharing this for context, because we really questioned whether we needed to bring an additional coordinator on. My now husband eventually convinced me that even if it reduced 20% of the stress, it would be money well spent. It was the single best decision we made in the entire wedding planning process. (Other than deciding to get married, lol). From day 1, Vic and her team provided constant communication. They are not a vendor you book and then hear from a year later to catch up on the details a couple weeks prior to the wedding. She reached out monthly and sometimes weekly to check-in, see if we had any questions, or ask if there was anything she could do to help. Whenever we did have something to bring to her, the response was always thorough, thoughtful, and helpful. More often than not, she offered not just one, but several potential solutions for us to think about. She has a huge number of weddings a year - our event being over a year out was probably not her #1 priority, and yet she treated it like it was. When we did ultimately have an issue with another vendor bailing on us month-of (someone we hired on our own before bringing her on, nonetheless), she quite literally went to bat for us to defend our contract and try to help us get part of our deposit back. She will say this is “just part of the job!”, but it honestly is so much more than that. Wedding planning is tough enough as it is, and when something goes wrong you need someone on your side who can step up to support you and help you navigate the issue. She did this flawlessly, and we are still so grateful for her help. She has an incredible knowledge of the ins and outs of the industry and is well respected amongst her peers. I never had to question the advice she was giving and her results really speak for themselves. Wedding day, I didn’t have to lift a finger. She made sure myself and the bridal party were relaxed, eating/hydrating, and really just not worrying about anything going on outside our bridal suite. Having had been the one to pack-up the ridiculous # of boxes of decor prior to the wedding (again, full DIY bride) I knew setting up would be no small feat. Everything was absolutely perfect. I had a special moment before the ceremony of walking out to our reception space and seeing the full extent of my vision come to life – it was better than I could have ever imagined and I have Everlasting Affairs to thank for that. This is the longest review I have ever written, but they truly are worth so much more. Our wedding would not have been half the day it was without their help.

She was organized and thorough (even when we were not). Her recommendations for vendors were outstanding, and she helped us save money by coordinating rentals from various companies. On the day of the wedding, she handled everything so that my husband and I could thoroughly enjoy the day without worrying. As a couple that had to postpone their wedding twice during Covid, we worked with Victoria over 3 years and couldn’t have been happier with her and how she helped us navigate the unexpected situation. She recommended incredible vendors and helped us renew contracts for our new dates. She worked with my family closely as they hosted the event in their backyard. My partner and I were planning from out of state and Victoria was readily available via email and phone whenever we wanted to touch base. She was also in continuous contact with my parents to ensure that they, she, and the vendors were all on the same page about everything. Her top priority was making our day exactly as we wanted it to be, and that’s exactly what it was. On wedding day when everything felt like it was going a mile a minute, Victoria was making sure we had the drinks and food we wanted and needed. She was even prepared (with a “tide to go” pen) to remove a stain from my partners shirt (minutes before the ceremony). Victoria matched our wedding party’s energy perfectly. To us, she felt more like a valued friend, helping & adding to our wonderful experience. We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding day and so much of that was thanks to Victoria, her team, and her excellent vendor recommendations. We are so grateful!

My husband and I hired Victoria for month of, and day of wedding coordination—we were a COVID reschedule from May of 2020, with a complete venue chance in between, and needed someone to help us smooth out the rough edges in our planing, from two years of postponement. Not only were we fielding rescheduled vendors, we also have some uncomfortable familial relationships among our guests, that can make wedding planning a nightmare. I made the situation known, and told Victoria blatantly I would have no hard feelings if she chose to book another couple—she enthusiastically accepted and we were off to the races from there. The day of our wedding, we had an issue with a vendor that was late to our ceremony, and Victoria handled the situation with complete fluidity—she made sure that we did not postpone our ceremony for too long, and I did not even think twice about trusting the calls she made. She always had everything under complete control—and we were on schedule from the moment the festivities kicked off. In terms of the familial issues, I have no idea what she had to do to mitigate all the challenges presented there (and there were definitely many,) but she made sure that I did not see ANY of it as a bride. I felt, for the first time in my life, like I could relax and enjoy myself, and enjoy time with my husband at the most beautiful evening of our lives—and our wedding decisions as a bride and groom would not be challenged by outside forces. She made sure there were no negative outbursts, nothing that would detract from the wonderful night we both had—she fiercely advocated for our wishes. I went into the day of my wedding with realistic lowered expectations, knowing there would be a high chance we would experience some uncomfortable moments. There were NONE that I witnessed, and Victoria was single-handedly responsible for shielding us from it, and led to my complete lack of stress as a result. I can’t even begin to imagine, how hard she had to work to make that a reality (and I will forever be grateful for that.) I am honestly floored—It was the absolute best day of our lives. I have never felt so in the moment, so happy, so in awe of all of the positivity surrounding us (and Victoria, if I could hire you to shield us from the same scenarios in our married life, I would in a heartbeat!!!!) Can’t recommend her enough.
