If you are looking for a trusted jeweler to design your engagement ring, then go to Ethan Lord. My fiancé and I worked with Lauren to design my engagement ring and again to pick ou...
t our wedding bands, and we had the best experience. The entire Ethan Lord team is lovely, but Lauren was exceptionally great.
She was so accommodating in seeing us to help plan out my engagement ring. We went to another popular jeweler in the Gold Coast (before finding Ethan Lord), and we had 4-5 appointments with that jeweler, and though they were nice, we were just not getting anywhere with an engagement ring. After one appointment with Lauren, we had all of the details nailed down and were confident in our design. The engagement ring turned out perfect! I absolutely love it.
About a year later, we went back to work with Lauren again to pick out our wedding bands for both my fiancé and me, and just like with the engagement ring, we had the wedding bands picked out in one longer visit.
The entire time we worked with Lauren, she was super helpful, kind, and patient, as well as very knowledgeable. She was great at answering all of our questions and addressing any concerns we may have had in trying to make our final decisions.
Every time I go to the city, I stop by Ethan Lord to get my rings cleaned, and the once-a-year buff and polish make the rings really sparkle and shine. Don't forget those cleanings!
Whether it is an engagement ring, wedding bands, a push present, a milestone birthday, or anything in between, go to Ethan Lord and ask to work with Lauren!
I wish I could give Ethan Lord, specifically Erika, more than 5 stars! She made the entire process seamless. From my husband originally going in to pick out my engagement ring, all...
the way through creating our wedding bands together, she was incredible. Erika is truly the kindest human and immediately made us feel so comfortable, especially since neither of us knew much about rings. She’s funny, warm, and one of those people you feel like you’ve known for years. I get compliments on my ring everywhere I go, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her guidance and care. The service at Ethan Lord is beyond amazing, if you don't know where to start with your engagement ring and/or wedding bands - look no further!
Danny is the absolute best!! We love all our rings.
My now husband got my ring designed from Ethan Lord and worked with Mehdi who was very helpful and experienced. We went back later on to get our wedding bands from there and had a ...
great experience with Mehdi again as well. He was very helpful and patient while I went back and forth on my band preference and while I had my rings resized a couple of different times.
The BEST. Erika is amazing and was the perfect partner in helping us find the perfect rings. I always felt like we were getting the top quality service and were not over-paying or ...
buying anything that wasn't 100% perfect. I recommend this place to everyone I know who is looking to get engaged.
Erika at Ethan Lord was the best guide for us as we started to look at engagement rings all the way through the delivery of our wedding bands. She's great at communicating, timely ...
in responding, and just a great person to work with. We were so happy with the custom engagement rings and wedding bands - timeless and beautiful. We love the support she gave us at choosing a diamond and our design. We could truly tell she wanted us to be happy with her work - and WE ARE. Thank you, Erika!
My husband went to Ethan Lord after toying with the idea on online retailers for my engagement ring. Rhe anxiety about such a substantial purchase drove him to find a jeweler in th...
e area instead and Ethan Lord immediately impressed with the quality of their website and selection on social media. He met with Eric and they worked together on custom creating my engagement ring. Eric was fantastic and communicated well during the process. He was able to give my husband scans and 3D models to help visualize the end result and the final product was absolutely stunning. As such we returned to Ethan Lord for our wedding bands! We again worked with Eric and he was so polite, funny, attentive, and knowledgeable and we left with exactly what we wanted. He was never pushy, gave his professional opinion and was non-judgmental. We are both so happy with the quality of our rings and the experience at Ethan Lord was remarkable and we're so happy with our choice to work with them! Thank you again :)
We used Ethan Lord for our engagement and wedding jewelry. We started by looking and different engagement rings. We had the pleasure of working with Lauren, who was so helpful, pat...
ient and knowledgeable. She made the selection process easy by helping us to understand our preferences. She also helped my husband and I pick out our wedding bands. She was also able to provide some direction on a custom necklace with pendent that turned out beautifully. Ethan Lord is our go to jewelers. We had such great experiences with them and we highly recommend to anyone looking for custom jewelry.
Our work with Ethan Lord dates back to when my husband designed my engagement ring (without my knowing!). My engagement ring includes the stone from my husband's maternal grandmoth...
er's ring, so he was already going to need custom work. I also had a very specific style that would be tricky to design for without my knowing. My husband brought in the original ring, photos from Instagram of the jeweler I liked, and a photo of me and ended up working with them to design the most PERFECT ring - and the jeweler guessed my ring size just by looking at the photo! Honestly, when he gave me the engagement ring I was speechless because it was exactly what I would have created if I designed it. We then of course worked with them on our wedding bands, mine being custom to fit the custom engagement ring. Working with Erika was truly amazing - she is brilliant and designed a gorgeous band to complement the engagement ring. I also brought in a delicate charm bracelet that I wanted them to update and it came out beautifully. We have since recommended them to other friends getting engaged/married. Their pieces are truly beautiful and their staff is so lovely. I cannot speak more highly of Ethan Lord - especially if you are having something custom made!
If you are looking for a best-in-class jewelry shopping experience, look no further than Ethan Lord.
Erika helped us design my engagement ring using a family heirloom diamond and ...
colorful side stones that we sourced from Ethan Lord. We wound up having 3 different appointments to design my dream ring. The entire process was incredibly effortless and, most importantly, fun! They really go the extra mile - creating 3d renderings of the ring, along with a wax prototype, to ensure every last detail is to your liking.
We also purchased our wedding bands here. As with the engagement ring, our bands were made to order. They ensured the diamonds in my wedding band matched the antique diamond in my engagement ring. I have received so many compliments on my rings - because they are truly stunning!
Ethan Lord Jewelers and especially Lauren Z. did an absolutely amazing job helping me redesign and resize my heirloom engagement ring. We combined multiple elements from different ...
rings including the original setting and they executed it flawlessly. I seriously could not be happier and could not recommend them enough!!

ings. Our wedding rings turned out beautifully and we had the fortune of working with Erika for our wedding band consultation. I would absolutely recommend Ethan Lord to my friends and family.
Where to start? Every interaction we had with Ethan Lord Jewelers was stellar from the 1st time we walked in to the moment we received the ring and thereafter. The vibe you get wal...
king in is that they are truly excited to see you and everyone enjoys being there. We worked with Erika in creating our custom engagement ring with a specific design we had in mind and she was the absolute epitome of top-notch customer service. She patiently guided us through the process as we asked numerous questions, provided knowledge and thoughtful opinions (always with no pressure) and was always kind and lively. We shopped around at a good number of jewelers before deciding on Ethan Lord, which stood out clearly from the rest, and Erika was a significant factor in that decision. We were extremely satisfied with the ring and highly recommend Ethan Lord. Bonus points for their VIP treatment of our two small Pomeranians that they all doted on!
The ring turned out even better then imagined. Lauren was so helpful that I felt like I got a lesson in diamonds!
Thank you for your time and attention.

nd they were able to store them for us in their vault until our wedding week. Each piece was beautifully packaged and the quality is impeccable. My engagement ring is also from this jeweler and we will continue to work with them for future purchases. Highly recommend!
Danny worked a miracle for my wedding bands!! I had a very specific vision that I wanted to use diamonds from my grandmother's ring in two twin wedding bands. What I didn't realize...
is that the diamonds were very old, cut in a different style than my engagement ring and were all different sizes. Woof! But Danny made it work! He custom-designed the setting to match my engagement ring and perfectly fulfilled my vision. I get so many compliments on my bands and their family history makes them all the more special.
My fiance recently purchased my engagement ring from Ethan Lord and had a wonderful experience. Erica took the time to talk him through the entire process, stayed in his budget and...
was very helpful in all the planning. After he proposed i went in for sizing and she was so thoughtful and welcoming to me, knowing exactly who I was and all about Jake. We are also planning to get our wedding bands from Ethan Lord.
My fiance and I really enjoyed working with Ethan Lord. We worked with Eric throughout the process. My fiance had more face time with him, but I did get my band there as well so I ...
worked with him on that. We both appreciated that he was straightforward and personable at the same time. If something wasn't going to work, he didn't dance around it. EL truly made the process easy!

plaining every aspect of an engagement ring - from settings, metals, and, of course, the diamonds. We didn't know how little we knew! We now feel educated and confident in making a decision, and we trust that Ethan Lord will provide us with a beautiful, high quality ring. The entire staff was welcoming and friendly, but not pushy, which is wonderful when you are making a big decision. A friend of mine also received her engagement ring from Ethan Lord (it's gorgeous) and her fiance had nothing but great things to say about his experience with them. I should also mention that the shop itself is beautifully appointed and has a nice bar area, where they offer you complimentary beverages. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ethan Lord - and Erika - to anyone!

mely responsive. He was so helpful in assisting me when it came time to purchase his ring and for getting it specially engraved as a surprise. I cannot recommend Ethan Lord enough!

My husband picked out my ring here over the course of three visits with a very attentive and non-pushy sales specialist. Of course I was so excited when he proposed, but the story ...
of him taking the time to find out about styles, diamond quality, and design my ring was even more special. The pricing seemed very reasonable with the apprasal being double of what my husband paid.
When it was getting closer to the wedding, we went in together to pick out his ring. The variety was very nice as well as the obvious dedication to lifelong service.
My husband's ring actually broke on our honeymoon (extremely rare, lucky us!) and they sent him packaging to return it, met with him to make sure of the proper size, and sent him a new one in no time.
I also had my ring re-sized slightly smaller since it kept twisting around and they sent it to me at school in another state without batting an eye.
I am really impressed with their dedication to taking care of their customers for a reasonable price and I highly recommend them.

hat I wanted and would have picked myself!
He and Devin designed my ring - the only thing I told him was to make sure the diamond was square - and I can't believe how spot-on it was to my 'dream ring'. Not only that but they got the sizing perfect and didn't have anything to go by (I don't know how they did it).
We went back for our wedding bands and they did a phenomenal job. They were very professional, timely and more than helpful.
I would definitely recommend.
We NEVER EVER thought that we would be able to work with a ring designer to get our bands. We thought for sure we'd go to one of the bigger stores and go from there.

om had about a carrot of diamonds to use in my band, and the game changed a bit. We were able to work with Ethan Lord per a recommendation from my mom, and recommendations from Yelp, etc.
We designed my ring with Dallas and she helped my husband choose his own special ring (not specially designed). When we went back just about 6 weeks later our design came to life--and it is more wonderful than I ever could've imagined! The hand design and engraving is beautiful and I can't stop looking at it.
Since we had diamonds and what not, it's tough to say how their value is if you didn't have anything to work with--but I can guarantee it will be worth it!
We worked with Larry to create my engagement ring and both of our wedding bands and we're extremely pleased with the process and the results. I pretty much knew what I wanted in t...
erms of shape, carats and setting, but we were very uneducated in the other three C's. Larry took the time to explain and show us examples of stones of various quality, never trying to up-sell us on aspects that weren't important to us. Also, since they design all of the rings themselves, we got exactly what we wanted in the settings, after giving Larry examples of things we did and didn't like. The process was relatively quick and both Larry and Erica were very responsive to questions. They even cleaned my engagement ring right before the wedding so it would be nice and sparkly! I have referred two friends to Larry and they have both been pleased with the results as well.
I feel that because we didn't purchase an engagement ring from Ethan Lord, we weren't top priority. To them it was only a wedding band, not a big deal. So I guess if you are buying...
an engagement ring, they will treat you much better, a wedding band apparently isn't a big enough purchase.
Customer service is non existent. They take forever to reply to emails and voice mails. They promised me something in 2 weeks time, it took 3. I had to constantly follow up. They returned my engagement ring to me dirty and forgot to engrave the bands.
Thank you Windy City for engraving my bands and cleaning up my ring. For a full review on my experience with Ethan Lord, read my review on Yelp. It's more detailed. Wedding Channel limits the number of characters.
Ethan Lord was the jeweler where I bought my then fiancee's engagement ring. I was very happy. When it came to the wedding ring, we consulted them but also shopped around. Based on...
a large price difference, we decided to go with another vendor. Later, the sales person at our chosen vendor wasn't able to deliver. Eric at Ethan Lords was very helpful and provide us many alternatives in trying to help us salvage the situation. Because the bad news from the other vendor came 5 days before we were to leave for our wedding in Australia, what Eric could do was limited. Nevertheless, he tried everything he could to help us and never made us feel obligated or pressured at any stage. We want to thank Ethan Lord and Eric for their support.
We are so happy with Larry at Ethan Lord Jewelers that we've already recommended him to all of our friends!

w the engagement ring he bought me would come under heavy scrutiny. I get compliments all the time. The custom work they do is amazing. I even have diamonds on the prongs. My ring sparkles like none I've ever seen (even ones with more diamonds).
We got our wedding bands there too and not only were they able to perfectly match mine to my engagement ring, they kept a mold so I never had it out of my possession. Larry went through each type of ring for my husband too along with the pros and cons so we could make an informed decision. They even engraved it for free.
The customer service at Ethan Lord is unmatched!
Larry at Ethan Lord made my husband and I feel right at home when we first came in to talk about my engagement ring almost 2 years ago. We told him what we wanted and he gave us a ...
ring that is a million times better than we ever expected and for a great price. We loved him and Ethan Lord so much we had my wedding bands and my husbands wedding ring custom made by them as well. We will absoluetly be return customers!
My husband wanted to recreate a 1930's ring for me, and our friend/officiant recommend Ethan Lord Jewelers. Larry worked carefully with my husband, going over the whole process, to...
