Hi, I’m Eileen (pronounced i-lean)! I’m a photographer and graphic designer based in the Inland Empire, a first-generation Guatemalan-Salvadoran American, and someone who has always been a little obsessed with the details that make people and places feel like themselves. I’m drawn to photographs that feel lived-in. The way someone looks at their person when they think no one is watching, the hands that keep a bouquet together, your grandmother fixing your veil, the friends who somehow end up on the dance floor first. I love the big moments, but I’m probably just as excited about everything happening around them. My background in graphic design has also made me think about photographs as more than individual images. I’m interested in how they work together, the rhythm, the composition, the light, the textures, and eventually how they exist beyond a screen. Whether that’s through a photograph, a printed piece, or a book designed specifically around your day, I want the things we create together to feel like you. Outside of photographing weddings, you’ll usually find me working on a photo project, weightlifting at the gym or running, any and every coffee shop around Riverside, and designing something just because I had an idea, or convincing myself that I absolutely need another roll of film. At the heart of it, I care about people. Your wedding is not a production to me—it’s a gathering of the people who make your life what it is. I’m there to document all of it with intention, curiosity, and a little bit of room for the unexpected.
