My husband and I got married in October of 2022, and from our first phone call over a year before our wedding, we knew Eryc was the one to capture our day! We were first drawn to E...
ryc's photos because they are both contemporary and timeless in feel, and he absolutely nailed this with our wedding. Throughout our whole wedding photography journey (including engagement photos), he was very professional and easy to work with. You spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding wedding day, and he made us, our families, and our friends feel so comfortable--it really felt like hanging out with a friend with a camera. We will treasure our wedding photos forever, and we really can't thank Eryc enough!
One of my strongest memories from our wedding was a moment after the ceremony before the dancing when Eryc stepped out with me and my husband to take a few pictures of our dance. T...
here was a subtle problem with my dress that I was trying to fix myself, and Eryc, noticing immediately that something was out of sorts when no one else had, offered a hand. It was just one illustration of the grace, humanity, and presence he brought to our wedding experience. How he managed to make us feel seen, supported, and energized while simultaneously maintaining the focus to produce the work of art that is our wedding album, we cannot guess. He took an experience and produced an expression of it not only made the joy and intensity of the event itself accessible to us after the fact, but also honored specific moments we had no memory of. Magic! Book this artist.
As a wedding photographer, you might think I had a difficult time deciding who would photograph my own wedding but that was simply not the case. I knew it had to be Eryc because th...
at's just how good he is! Eryc's talents are truly endless. Not only is he a master with composition, lighting, and direction - he is also an incredible human with a presence that put me and my husband, and all of our guests at ease knowing he was behind the lens documenting with the utmost care. He really went above and beyond to make me and my husband feel emotionally supported and also glamorous!! And of course, the photos are superb. We have a cohesive album that feels honest and artful. We are eternally grateful to be able to relive such a fun and special weekend thanks to his hard work and artistry. When it's all said and done, all you have left is your photos so hire Eryc, it will be the best wedding decision you make!
One of the smartest decisions we made when preparing our daughter’s April 16, 2022 wedding was securing Eryc Perez de Tagle as photographer.
There was excellent communication well...
ahead of the event. Eryc got a real sense of the wedding couple’s sensibilities. He was always available for questions and got back to us right away with answers. At the day before wedding rehearsal Eryc brought a lovely sense of calm and excitement. He even located and secured stage lights for us, at the last minute (on a holiday weekend!), so that we could all be sure there’d be sufficient light on the stage.
Eryc captured so many beautiful moments in the ceremony that we are so thrilled and grateful to have. The event was a fusion wedding (Western/Indian) involving a Baraat (procession) up the avenue, the ceremony in the theater, and reception at the ballrooms next door, with 190 guests dancing nearly non-stop. Eryc’s lens told the story of the day from getting ready, to family portraits, to fun gorgeous wedding couple portraits, through the Baraat, ceremony, reception, the cake cutting and beyond. And he did so with seamless style and grace, never intrusive. His presence is so careful, so relaxed, and so cool! Eryc, and his marvelous second shooter, felt like part of the whole celebration.
And the photos completely capture the energy and vibe of the event – start to finish. They are superb! He captured moments and images we weren’t even aware of, and now are so grateful to have.
In summary, Eryc is an incredibly gifted photographer, and a great pleasure to work with. We were really, really lucky to have him!

Eryc exceeded our expectations when it came to capturing our special day. He was professional yet we both felt so comfortable with him (even though we had no clue how to pose in fr...
ont of a camera).
We wanted documentary style that was fun, raw, not too clichè but captured the emotion of the day. Eryc nailed the brief.
Eryc did prior research on the area we chose to get married in order for us to have a seamless and stress free experience. He knew the best angles, buildings, poses, lighting, tips & tricks for a City Hall wedding, subway stations, hand placements, dress movement - the list goes on. He even brought along a clear umbrella on the day as it was forecast to rain - this clear umbrella was a lifesaver as it let light in for photos and we avoided getting wet. Genius.
The photos Eryc captured are incredible, and everyone who looks through our wedding album can’t believe how beautiful they are.
I cannot recommend Eryc enough and we are so lucky to have found him.
When we first were looking for vendors, a photographer with a cool and edgy style that would capture the most beautiful moments of our special day, was the most important thing to ...
us. We found Eryc’s portfolio and knew we had met our match. Eryc saw our wedding through over the course of two years and three event dates and remained easy to work with, professional and flexible through the whole process. He first captured our intimate wedding of 10 people in March of 21. We were in awe of his work, his ability to design and keep everyone to the timeline of the day, and his swiftness in returning the final prints. He then captured our wedding “anniversary” celebration in March 22 and it could not have been better. His eye for detail and perfection is unmatched. Not only is he able to photograph intimate and candid moments perfectly, he is also able to style and execute the perfect posed photos as well. Eryc is a true goddess to work wit. He is a new best friend, insanely talented, and his work is simply remarkable.
Of all of the decisions that we had to make in organizing our wedding, choosing Eryc for our photography was *easily* one of the very best.
From our first phone call with him, we ...
knew that we were not only in the hands of an incredibly talented photographer, but a true friend.
Eryc's photographic eye is unparalleled. He knows how to stage the perfect poses, and capture the coolest candids. His photographs made our wedding look like a beautiful play, with various acts and scenes playing out, all with their own distinct flair and character. Our ability to relive that day with ease is all thanks to Eryc.
And not only did Eryc beautifully capture the best moments of our wedding, he was also incredibly supportive and thoughtful throughout the whole process. On a day that can be maximum stress, we always felt maximum relief each moment we spent with him.
In fact, we trust Eryc so much, he is even listed and signed as a legal witness to our marriage :)
Our best wedding decision was having Eryc as our photographer. My husband are I were both completely overwhelmed by all the ways that he made our day so seamless and worry-free. ...
From helping with our timeline, to tying my husband's bowtie for him, fixing and re-fixing and re-fixing my hair all night, to helping everyone feel comfortable being photographed, we feel like we got a lot more than a wedding photographer. Eryc is not only an excellent photographer, but such an amazing human being overall! His attention to detail, sense of humor, and patience were all greatly appreciated by us and our wedding guests.
We have received so many compliments on our photos - everyone wonders where we could have possibly found such an amazing photographer. We hope that Eryc will do us the pleasure of continuing to photograph our growing family in the future!
Eryc not only photographed our wedding this September...he also photographed our engagement in 2018, and elopement in 2020 so we've come to know him well over the years and we abso...
lutely adore him and all of the memories he's been able to capture for us. His style and approach is unmatched and he will make you feel comfortable and focus on what matters to you - even if it's the timeline, all while making sure he still gets "the shot". We cannot recommend Eryc more!
Eryc shot my micro wedding in June 2021, and from the moment my husband and I met him on the phone, we felt like we'd known him for ages. He immediately identified a common interes...
t of ours, and found little ways to thread that into all of our conversations, so much so that on the wedding day I felt not like he was a vendor shooting my wedding, but instead an extremely talented old friend. Eryc shared in my obsessive weather-watching, and helped me to develop a backup plan should it rain, which really put my mind at ease. Of course, we thought we were in the clear on the day and then we had just 5 minutes of pouring rain - Eryc shot our portraits so masterfully, you could hardly even tell. After the day was over, our friends and family raved about how wonderful it was to have him around, even weeks later. When we received our photos, we were speechless! Every single one felt so truthful, and somehow perfectly captured the mood and atmosphere and the way each moment *felt*. Eryc has a truly unbelievable eye for capturing candid moments that make you look back later and either laugh or cry. If you're considering working with him, it would be a mistake not to - he's a truly gifted and all around wonderful person.
Eryc! Where do I begin. One of the most genuine people I have ever met. We clicked instantly and he made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. His energy is so calming and...
you just trust him immediately. This is not just another photo shoot, it is a memorable and timeless experience with a friend. Eryc truly is the consummate pro and was so easy to work with and super creative. My wedding photos are breathtaking and exactly the vibe we wanted. I highly recommend Eryc for any event you want to remember for a lifetime!

s feel comfortable. Multiple guests including both of our parents and several friends told us how great he was as well. The photos themselves are incredible. We JUST got married this past weekend, so we will have the full library of photos in a few weeks, but he's already sent us a sneak peek and even just seeing those, we can tell the rest will be just as beautiful. We wanted mostly candid or not super posed photos, and he's certainly delivered. He made the night look just as magical as it felt, and we can't wait to see the rest of the images!
When it came to choosing a photographer for our wedding day - I was *extremely* selective. I spoke to maybe 20 photographers before finally being referred to Eryc. Not only was h...
is style exactly what we were looking for to capture the big day but he put me so at ease on our first call I couldn’t wait to share the find with my then-fiancé. Throughout the many covid-induced changes in the planning process Eryc was invaluable. He was quick to answer e-mails and even created a wedding day timeline that would end up being the guideline we’d send out to all of our vendors. Then came the big day. He was amazing. Calm and coordinated, an incredibly quick study in learning the VIP’s names, we can easily say he kept the day moving. Every single one of our 40 guests commented on how lovely he was. When the photos arrived, needless to say we were FLOORED. The day was magical yet he somehow made it feel even more intimate, lovely and special in his work. His correspondence time remained short and we had our full suite of photos within the time promised. If this review hasn’t said it already - We cannot recommend Eryc more.
Eryc actually shot the wedding of a friend of ours, and we had such a great time meeting him and were so impressed with how he carried himself throughout the day that we reached ou...
t to him about our wedding before we even saw her pictures.
Those initial phone calls really set the tone. My wife and I were trying to keep things relatively non-traditional and DIY and really, after having already been together for almost 10 years, just have a big pop-punk love party but with all the pieces that would help our family recognize it as a wedding. Eryc totally got it, going beyond just what kind of pictures we wanted and helping us structure the day in a way that trimmed the fat, flowed well, and made for the most fun possible.
We got married at the Bell House in Gowanus and Eryc ran the show for the most part. We didn't have a day-of coordinator so he kept everyone to a strict schedule - portraits in some February golden hour, assembly-line-efficient family pictures, leading into the music and ceremony and party without feeling rushed or lagging.
The pictures he produced look like such a dramatic rock show, which we didn't really know how to ask for but he just had such a good feel for the space and our interests that we couldn't imagine being happy with anything else. But like I mentioned, he did our friend's wedding, and it was in a totally different style. He can hit such a wide range of aesthetics and is genuinely excited to find a way to make the photos unique and deeply personal and well suited to the Bride and Groom and the overall vibe of the event.
Hiring Eryc made our wedding so easy and stylish. The real difficultly we are facing is how to whittle down the hundreds of pictures into an album, they're all so high energy and so sweet.
Eryc is remarkably talented and a pleasure to work with!
I found him through a family friend whose indoor February NYC wedding he had shot impeccably well. After checking out his ...
Instagram page @erycpretzeltaco and his website (www.erycpdt.com) I knew I wanted to work with him. He turns a dream destination or a cityscape into art. I could tell from our phone conversations he would put me and my husband at total ease – which he absolutely did – and we are two people that prefer not being the center of attention.
Eryc shot our March 2019 wedding in New Haven, CT and we are thrilled with the outcome! He is a complete professional with a genuine, relaxing, and disarming disposition. The results were beautiful and timely and I couldn’t recommend him enough.

He was very professional in every sense of the word. Due to Eryc’s personality and our small wedding he became apart of the family. Our wedding photos speak for themselves.
We deeply cherish them and so many of our friends continue to compliment them.
He truly captured each and every glance, smile and special moment throughout the day. Any other personal occasion we want captured Eryc will be our first phone call.

at pictures after spending several hours with us going to some amazing locations. When it was our wedding day, Eryc was beyond organized and thorough, making sure he got great photos of all our guests and really capturing all the moments of our special day.
I highly recommend him; he goes above and beyond, and the quality is amazing.
Eryc was such a pleasure to work with!! We were looking for a photographer for our intimate family wedding ceremony an ddinner that would capture the day, and Eryc was incredible. ...
He was so fun and friendly from the very first phone call, and he captured the day perfectly. The day was a bit chaotic with our entire crazy family showing up before we were done getting ready, and even with so many opinions and people, babies, children and dogs running around, Eryc was calm and made me, Paul and our families feel comfortable and relaxed.
Before the ceremony, he even grabbed the two of us to do a quieter impromptu shoot in an area near my temple I had never noticed before - these were some of my favorite photos, and also gave Paul & I a moment alone to reflect, destress and relax before the ceremony.
The photos he delivered were absolutely beautiful and perfectly reflected the intimacy of the ceremony. He also added in some gorgeous, more artistic photos that I never would have thought to ask for, but my personal favorites capturing such amazing silly and heart-warming candids. These are the ones I find myself coming back to over and over, and they send me right back to that day.
Thank you Eryc for being such an important part of our wedding day!! We are so grateful for these photos.

I cant imagine having getting married without Eryc by my side.

camera, especially in front of so many people, but Eryc did a great job making me feel comfortable and confident.
In addition to his stellar personality, Eryc is amazingly talented. He made a hot and humid day on a roof in July look like an effortless and fabulous Vogue-worthy event. He has a great eye for capturing genuine moments, all the laughs, hugs, tears, and dance moves were captured beautifully and I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

nt. Not only is Eryc a fantastic photographer, he’s a true artist. He captured everything so well and so beautifully, really being accurate to the mood and feeling of the experiences. Neither of us normally feel very comfortable in front of a camera, but Eryc put us entirely at ease right away and made it all feel so natural. Not only that, but everything about the entire process was easy for us because of his preparedness, attention to detail, and professionalism. We honestly consider our pictures a work of art and are eternally grateful to Eryc for so accurately and beautifully capturing the best day of our lives. Eryc is tremendously talented and thorough, and we couldn't possibly recommend him more highly.
