I have been in this industry for 21 years which is wild to say out loud considering I am in my mid 30's. When you know what you love to do; you spend your life chasing that dream. Lucky enough, I get to photograph more than just one milestone. My clients are so important to me they don't just stay clients; we become friends and I become their forever photographer. I aim to capture natural candids through my craft by being me. I am spicy, funny, and I get the photographs that aren't on your shot lists. The ones you don't think about and are so thankful you have. The moments shared that you don't know about. I am picky with who I take on as a client because I like to think I am not for everyone. Chemistry is super important between not only our lovers; but our vendors. We need to have that trust and comfort - both ways - and I bring things to the table not everyone can.

y, but for the incredible person she is.
One of the things we appreciated most was her ability to make us feel comfortable, relaxed, and genuinely happy throughout the day. At one point, I was dealing with something personal that left me crying, which completely ruined my makeup, and she handled the situation with so much care, compassion, and understanding. She helped me pull myself back together, communicated with those around me to make sure everyone was on the same page, made me laugh, and helped me find my way back to enjoying one of the most important days of my life. That meant more to me than she will probably ever realize.
Her energy and sense of humor kept us laughing throughout the day, and she made sure we captured all the photos and special moments we had hoped for. She has this incredible ability to bring her own personality, humor, and fun into the experience while still keeping everything moving seamlessly.
One of her famous lines is, "I'm not everyone's cup of tea," and while I understand what she means, I genuinely have a hard time imagining anyone not loving her! She is unapologetically herself, and that's exactly what makes her so special. I mean, even the PRIEST called her "Daddy" at the end of our CATHOLIC MASS! If that doesn't tell you everything you need to know about her personality and the impression she leaves on people, I don't know what will.
What impressed us even more was something we didn't even learn until after the wedding. Emily had actually been feeling unwell since our ceremony at 12:30 p.m., yet she pushed through until the very end at 6:30 p.m. without us ever noticing a thing. Not once did she make it about herself, complain, or allow it to affect our experience. She showed up for us with the same energy, enthusiasm, and dedication from beginning to end. Her professionalism, resilience, and commitment to her work were nothing short of remarkable.
We are so appreciative of everything she did for us, both in the moments we witnessed and those we didn't. It takes a special kind of person to show up for others the way she did, and we will never forget it. She went above and beyond in ways that had nothing to do with simply taking beautiful photographs, and that speaks volumes about her character.
Emily… Daddy… we truly cannot thank you enough for everything you've done for us before, during, and even after our wedding. We are so grateful for you, the memories you've helped us create, and all the special moments you've captured along the way. We, along with all of our loved ones, are on the edge of our seats waiting to see your magic come to life in our photos!

She was also so easy to reach throughout the entire process. Whenever I had a question or needed something, she responded quickly and made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free.
Having Emily and her associate, Amanda, with us on our wedding day was honestly the best decision. They were both so incredible to work with and did such an amazing job capturing not only the big moments, but also all the little moments in between that made the day so special. Making us feel comfortable, keeping things fun and relaxed, and somehow managed to be everywhere they needed to be without ever feeling intrusive.
When we got our photos back, we were completely blown away. Looking through them brought us right back to the emotions of the day. The happy tears, the laughter, the little looks, and all the moments we didn’t even realize were happening. That’s something we’ll always be grateful for.

It was supposed to rain on our original photoshoot date so Emily reached out and scheduled us a few days earlier. She instantly works her magic and is able to get all of the photos and then some all while making it fun and comfortable. Her turnaround time for photos is impressive. ly has actually been with us for more than just the wedding. She did our engagement photos, Melissa surprised me with a boudoir shoot that Emily did as a wedding gift (10/10 gift choice, by the way 😂 highly recommend ), and then Emily photographed our entire wedding day.
The wedding photos are absolutely breathtaking. I knew we’d get good pictures, but I honestly didn’t expect to sit there going through hundreds of them saying, “Holy crap, look at this one!” every five seconds.
Emily worked our wedding completely solo, which is still kind of unbelievable when you look through the gallery. Somehow she was EVERYWHERE. She captured the big moments, the little moments, the stuff we didn’t even know happened, people laughing, reactions from family and friends, and all those random candid moments that ended up being some of our favorite pictures.
And she did it without making the whole day feel like one giant photo shoot.
She was incredibly easy to work with and made everything comfortable and fun. Somewhere along the way her nicknames became “Daddy” and “Pea-Paw,” and by the end of the wedding those names were being thrown around like she’d been part of the family for years. 😂
One thing I really appreciate looking back is how much effort Emily put into getting pictures of our family and friends too. Of course we have amazing photos of Melissa and me, but we also have so many great pictures with our kids, parents, family and friends. Those pictures are priceless to us now, and Emily did an outstanding job making sure those people and moments weren’t missed.
I’ll admit, as the groom, wedding photography probably wasn’t at the top of the list of things I was obsessing over while planning a wedding. Flowers? Sure. Napkins? Whatever Melissa says. Photographer? I figured you hire someone good and smile when they tell you to smile.
I was wrong.
After seeing these photos, I completely understand how important having the right photographer is. The wedding goes by ridiculously fast, and when it’s all over, these pictures are what let you go back and experience it again. Emily captured our day exactly how we remember it — and somehow caught a whole bunch of it that we completely missed.
So far, our biggest problem with Emily Crenca Photography is that she apparently doesn’t understand that you’re only supposed to give people a FEW amazing photos. We have so many favorites that trying to pick ONE picture to blow up and put on the wall has basically become another marital decision. 😂

We had our engagement photos done a few weeks ago and I was nervous. I was a year postpartum and did not love my body and my fiancée and I had never had professional photos done before. We are not super affectionate in public so we were a little weary.
But Emily had us feeling comfortable quickly. We knew her style going into our shoot, so we were not surprised with her yelling at us to run around or say something dirty to each other. Honestly, I’m not sure how we would have looked without doing some of those things.
We finished our night in the water, something that I was really looking forward to. When I was driving home, I noticed that my ring was missing (my fault for not having my ring guard on). Emily answered my call immediately and stopped on the side of the road to see if she could see in the photos where I lost it. She was able to send me a photo of when I last had it and the angle we were at so it helped me find it IN THE WATER the next day! Without her help I would have never found it again. She even checked in with me the next day to make sure it was found.
As I’m sure it’s no surprise, the photos were phenomenal. She gives more than any other photographer I know and I STILL had to narrow it down to 147 of my “favorites”. I am looking forward to my wedding photos and know that Emily will be herself while being apart of our vision🩷

She gave sound and professional advice regarding timeline and flow based on her vast experience, and was able to allow me (a slightly type A bride) to feel comfortable and confident trusting her with the logistics of the day so I could focus on being excited and enjoying. The day before the wedding, Emily and her amazing associate took the extra time and care to scope out the best photo spots at our venue in preparation for the day. On the actual wedding day, the timeline was executed perfectly without a hitch! We have large families and had a large wedding party, so I could see how easily things could have gotten out of hand or thrown off. But Emily adjusted with all the moving parts so easily. My now-husband and I were so impressed with the way she kept the day moving and directed everyone where they needed to be while keeping the mood light and fun. She truly directed the ship and it wouldn’t have gone that smoothly without her. Emily communicated and worked well with my videographer and other vendors (to the point that my venue asked if they could recommend her to other couples, even though she lives way out of state!). And now for the most important part… the photos!!! Truly, we are absolutely blown away. The way Emily was able to capture the emotions, expressions, and tiny details that others most likely would have missed is a true talent. The posed photos are beautiful and felt and looked natural, and the candids are just… everything. Emily truly captured the beauty, emotions, and energy of the day. We are incredibly grateful to have these moments captured in time to forever look back on. Emily is someone who goes above and beyond for her clients, and we cannot recommend ECP enough!
