They communicated well, coordinated meetings, listened to our ideas, and helped bring our vision to life through the design and preparation leading up to our wedding day. I want to emphasize that our overall vision absolutely came to life, and I am grateful for the work that went into helping us create a beautiful and memorable wedding. Also, while the planning and design process went well, the execution on the actual wedding day fell short of my expectations in several areas. There were moments when things felt rushed and disorganized, and small things were missed that we had planned and I believe there is room for improvement when it comes to preparation, time management, and coordinating a large crowd. During our cocktail hour, the tables were not placed where they were supposed to be, despite this being discussed during our planning meeting. It was disappointing to see details we had previously communicated not carried out as planned. My photographer also seemed to be rushed throughout the process, which was frustrating because capturing those special moments was extremely important to us. I was being approached with questions about things such as menu cards when those details should have already been organized and addressed ahead of time. The photographer’s timeline should have been printed, readily available, and followed to ensure the day flowed smoothly without unnecessary interruptions. Another concern was the seating arrangement for my family. I was very specific about where I wanted my baby brother seated with my family, yet he ended up sitting in the crowd instead. This was an important request, and it was disappointing that it was overlooked on such a meaningful day. I also believe that managing and communicating with a large crowd requires stronger preparation, clear direction, and confidence. Guests need to know where to go, ushers need to understand their responsibilities, and vendors do not need to feel rushed nor my bridal party. Ultimately, I am thankful that our vision came to life and that we were able to celebrate such a special moment in our lives. The planning and design were strong, and our vision was beautiful, but the day-of coordination needed more preparation, better time management, clearer direction for the ushers, and stronger crowd management. so much easier to execute. We are constantly reading the room and managing the crowd's energy from the moment guests arrive, so not having to second guess the timeline is huge. You can tell instantly that Cherisa and Johanna treat their clients and families like their own. They set an incredible, welcoming atmosphere that allows all the vendors to perform at their absolute best. Beyond amazing!
