r planning and day of. More importantly, though, we felt like we could be ourselves around her, which resulted in our photos really capturing our (often goofy) relationship. She laughed along at our dumb jokes and kept the flow moving during the engagement session and the wedding day while staying upbeat. Some of my favorite moments from my wedding day actually were when we were doing portraits with her because it felt like we were just hanging out with a friend.

We got married at a family home, and every detail of the day was intentional and important to us. Elizabeth knew this, and captured every little thing that we wanted. She was 100% professional, but also laughed and cried with us throughout the day. She worked extremely well with our wedding coordinator, videographer, and my family just LOVED working with her. Elizabeth is extraordinary, and we are so thankful that we chose her to capture our day. My sister and her fiance even hired her for their upcoming wedding after seeing her work with us!

We decided on Las Vegas on 12/12/12, three months from our engagement. Needless to say, we were in a time crunch. We hurriedly checked all of the little boxes off on our planning list early on, leaving one extremely important one left, the photographer. We just couldn't seem to find someone who had the artistic eye we were looking for. Enter Elizabeth Haase (Liz!). We approached her with our details: a short window for planning and a location that none of us had scouted. Without batting an eyelash, she jumped right in. In the weeks leading up to the date we skyped several times (we were in the New Hampshire, she was in the Arizona) so that she could get to know us as a couple. She asked us about our details, our personalities and our vision. We weren't quite sure how to describe what we wanted, but Liz was able to help focus our scattered thoughts on how we wanted things to look and feel into a real vision. "I've got this!"-she said. We met at the Mandalay Bay the day before our wedding to walk some of the property to see how things looked. It didn't take long before she had a plan of things to do and try for our big day. The morning started off with me in a blur of emotion. Liz was such a calming presence that I was able to breathe and take everything in. She made me feel at ease and beautiful in front of the camera, not an easy task! Most of all, Liz wasn't just another body in the room doing her thing, she was genuinely excited for us and we could feel it. All day our guests raved about her. She was phenomenal. We got our photos much sooner than we expected and were floored. What Liz did was absolutely stunning. STUNNING. No forced moments, everything was beautifully natural. You can actually feel the day "happening" in the pictures. Having Liz for our day was the best decision we made when planning our wedding. The whole day was magnificent and she captured it perfectly.
