Great dj to work with! Communicated well and highly recommend to anyone who wants their dance to be a great time!!
John was the DJ for my daughters wedding this past weekend and did an amazing job! He was wonderful to work with. Great communication throughout the entire planning process and day...
of. He made all of my daughters request happen. He had great interaction with all. I would most definitely recommend Elite Lighting & Sound to all.
John with Elite Lighting and sound was fantastic. He was very organized and easy to work with. 3 little girls kept him busy once they found out they could request songs! He was ver...
y friendly and accommodating. He did a good job as the MC!! I would definitely recommend him!!!
We booked John Marsi for our DJ and some of our vendors and guests reached out to us to let us know they did not enjoy the experience with John as our DJ for a few different reason...
s. They mentioned some inappropriate comments were made to some guests when requesting songs (feeling sexual in nature) and even barking at a couple guests I assume as a joke.
Our coordinators said at the end of the night of our wedding, they will not work with him again, as he was unprofessional and condescending. Our final details call the week of the wedding to just go over last minute things was disregarded. The bartenders described a situation about making inappropriate comments such as “your pheromones smell sexy” while later in the night called them bitches due to timeline issues to my understanding.
All of this was brought to our attention after the evening was ending, so it was a big shock and a disappointment as we thought the day went mostly well.
The music choices kept everyone moving and announcements were given throughout the night. Slight mishap on announcing cake cutting a second time instead of our first dance, but nothing of major concern. He seemed nice to us on the phone and we were looking forward to working with him. Pricing was fair and we really enjoyed the up-lights. It is sad to look back on after hearing our guests and other vendors did not enjoy the experience like we had hoped for our special day. Our venue recommended him highly, but we would not recommend to our friends and family to him.
John is INCREDIBLE!!!!! I cannot recommend him or his team enough. He was always responding to my messages, texts, or calls when I had issues or questions, and I had a ton of them!...
He came in on Friday night before my wedding on Saturday, set everything up, tested mics, introduced himself to the groom and made it known if we need anything, he would do it for us! He was so reasonably priced.. especially for the amazing services he had provided. I can't give this man enough credit for listening to me, standing up for my requests/ lists, and just being so supportive through the whole wedding and reception. RUN, don't walk to book this man and his team. You WON'T regret it!!
John was great we had a much smaller turn out that expected but he made sure to get people on the dance floor and helped keep the day running smoothly from one thing to the next. E...
veryone loved him and said he was great my groom who wasn't able to be involved in selecting our vendors due to a short time frame and work said he was absolutely amazing. As some one who didn't have a planner and did it all our selves he was easy to communicate with and offering ideas and help with timeline from his years of experience. Definitely highly recommended to everyone planning a wedding in the area.
Shane was great! He even helped clear plates off the head table so they wouldn’t be in the toasting pictures. The timeline we made with John was perfect and all our other vendors ...
had no problem following our list. The setup was done before we even got there Friday for decorating and they showed us how to turn things on so we’d have music for our rehearsal dinner and decoration time at the barn. I couldn’t begin to recommend these guys enough!!! If you’re looking for the best, Elite Lighting & Sound are THE BEST! So glad we got them for our wedding at the Weathered Wisdom Barn! ❤️
Words will never do John Marsi and Elite Lighting and Sound justice, but we can try! After waiting two years for this celebration due to Covid-19, all we wanted was a packed dance...
floor with our favorite people… and possibly some snow for our December wedding. Well, John, went above and beyond to make both of those dreams come true, for us. There wasn’t a moment when we didn’t have a packed floor, a wild dance move, someone on the microphone, the best music line up… And he even lit up our room with a perfect snowfall. John was the most responsive, diligent, trustworthy, flexible, and a heck of a good time. He truly has a gift of making a vision come to life and seeing it through. We are so thankful we chose John to celebrate with us and couldn’t recommend Elite Lighting and Sound more!
DJ was perfect for price and the amount of time we needed but the organization to keep the party flowing needs a little work.

oor full all night. I had decor and flowers but honestly once all the lights were set up by Elite I realized I could have saved a ton of money no regrets but if you are on a set budget the value of ELS is outstanding. ohn let me hand pick all the songs I wanted. I chose about 60% of the songs played and John completed the rest of our playlist perfectly matching our vibe. He also truly went above and beyond by staying longer than the contract originally agreed upon. What a party. What a guy. Highly recommed. Oh also our names were displayed in lights on the floor with no extra cost which was a super cool surprise!

above and beyond his “music duties” to make sure everything went smoothly. At one point, he even cleared my dinner plate so I could have space at the head table. Great company, you even get your names projected on the wall. Also very quick at responding to any emails!
