We hired Elina for our wedding in November and we were very excited to use her services! I found her account on Instagram and was instantly in love with the content I saw. She incl...
uded an engagement session for us with the wedding package which was amazing. The engagement session came and went mostly without a hitch, despite not feeling super confident in her posing and background choosing abilities. We waited about a month to get these photos back from a two hour session. They were beautiful! Then it was wedding time. The day of the wedding seemed great except for the fact that Elina didn’t really respond well to requests. For example, for the photos of my wedding dress hanging, I offered to put the dress on a wooden hanger but she said no and used a plastic hanger. She also positioned it in front of a white backdrop… which the dress is white so it blends in. I told her there was an outdoor spot for this photo and she told me she already got the photos in front of the curtain. Small things like that. Then when it came time for family portraits, Elina took us to a background with shrubbery and statues in the back… mind you the venue was on a lake so we were hoping for the lake background but were told the lighting wasn’t good there. The third thing was that elina photographed us in front of a HUGE cross, and we aren’t Christian. When my husband said something about the cross she said she’d edit it out. The edit job on this cross when we got our photos back was done so carelessly that you can see exactly where the editor covered it. Speaking of the editor, Elina told me she “got her photos back from her editor” so I believe she outsources her editing which would have been great to know up front but we unfortunately didn’t. After the wedding, it was like pulling teeth trying to get a response from Elina. She gave us no timeline of when we’d see the photos, and a month and a half passed before she responded saying it would be around 10 weeks. We also asked for a preview so we could print out thank you cards to our guests and she told me she’d send it over. I never got previews, and come to about 12 weeks I still didn’t have any photos. I emailed Elina at least 4 times before texting her and finally getting a response. She said she was working on it and would follow up the next day. No response from her the next day. The response time and overall urgency and care for these photos was just not there. I wasn’t even featured on her photography Instagram- which does not bother me except for the fact that I’m not sure she is proud enough of the work she produced for us which could explain why she doesn’t promote it on her page. Overall the photos were great except for the few editing mishaps and closed eyes in some. We will treasure them forever. She was also very sweet and made us feel comfortable on the day of. But if you are looking for a professional photographer who will be quick to respond, know how to pose you or choose good backdrops in general and treat her role in your wedding with care, then she is probably not the photographer for you!
BEST.PHOTOGRAPHER.EVER! there's no debating, Elina is not only a talented and incredible photographer but she's honestly one of the most caring, giving and generous individuals I'v...
e ever met in my entire life. We're so in love with our wedding photos. they are gorgeous, bright, colorful, crisp and so romantic. Elina captured such beautiful and emotional moments all during the day, moments that may have seem like nothing to some but mean the world to us and our families. I thout this type of emotion was only possible with video but I'm here to tell you these pictures are better than any video we could have had. She was amazing from planning our engagement pictures to the wedding and beyond. tears of joy every time I think about how lucky we got finding her.
If I could give a negative rating I would!
We had an awful experience with Elina.
Elina was prompt on time and communication up until the delivery of the photos where she then had...
excuses of being sick. I had to remind her that the contract delivery date was in effect and she then turned nasty demanding more money (mind you well after the wedding passed) since she changed her rates after being paid in full and the contract was executed months in advance .
We did not receive 1 photo of me (the bride) in my full dress or a solo shot of my husband though well over 50 photos were taken of these images. The importance of these images were communicated in writing to Elina as we expressed we cared more about the intimate photos then “party”. Elina decided to deliver terrible photos of our guests stuffing their face with food rather then the meaningful photos of the bride/groom. How could you not deliver 1 photo of the bride in her dress when we spent over 10 minutes trying to get a beautiful shot with the veil!? My husband was extremely disappointed that he has no photos of himself to share from this day. Not only did she lack on the photos she delivered but the quality was poor. The images looked washed out and need additional editing. We were so hurt by this experience since she seemed to have a kind personality that was passionate about her work but yikes we were wrong. She turned into an evil nightmear.
We reached out to Elina and expressed this immediately, she did not care and instead demanded a tip for her work and extra money. How incredibly unprofessional and entitled.
Since sharing this review on Facebook Elina blocked us which resulted in the reviews being removed and sent hateful texts to me directly. Another case of unprofessional behavior for simply a Bride writing a negative review. Due to the nature of the review above she claims she would be contacting her attorney. Would you want this experience after sharing your opinion for services you paid for in full…? Your wedding is supposed to be enjoyable and all of our other vendors were amazing!
I would never recommend her to anyone, please continue your search!!!
Edit : photographer threatened legal action due to bad/honest review ! Words can’t even describe how disappointed I am with this photographer. We paid her in full ahead of time fo...
r her and an assistant photographer. She provided the timeline which we followed. My wife did not get several of the shots she specifically asked for. Although the second shooter took plenty of photos of me getting ready with my groomsmen as well as portraits of just me they were not provided. The photographer held these photographs and refused to provide them in order for her to be paid more money despite being paid in full !

ughout the whole year, and when we met her for engagement photos I knew she was the one! She’s so personable and made us feel like models, despite both feeling weird in front of a camera! I wasn’t going to do engagement pix and I’m so glad we did - it gave us a chance to get to know her and see what incredible work she does!! The photos are all over our house and used in the reception as well!
Her timeline kept the entire flow of the evening going, and she went out of her way to capture some really amazing shots with the full moon over the ocean. I would recommend her 1000000% without any shred of doubt. She made our wedding so (picture) perfect.
We can't say enough good things about Elina and her amazing team. From the start she was always available for our questions, always listened to our ideas and made suggestions. On t...
he day of the wedding they were at the venue early, started a few minutes before contracted time, they were like ninjas with cameras, they were everywhere and didn't miss a thing. Our parent cried when going through the picture, they are amazing! Overall experience was fantastic, highly recommend her and her team if you want a great experience and true professionals.
WOW WOW WOW
I just got my boudoir pictures back and I’m speechless. I never thought I can look this good. Lets be honest here for a second, I’m not the skinniest or most confident ...
girl but Elina made me feel so good about myself throughout the whole process, giving me compliments and trying different angles just to get the perfect picture. Highly recommend her!
We initially fell in love with her style of photography. Even my fiance at the time, commented how true to life the colors in her photos were and how natural people looked in every...
single pic. And trust me we went through so so many websites in our search for a photographer, that my fiance swore he was an expert in all photography styles, colors, posing lol. But the real magic came when we arranged a conference call with the three of us and went over some questions and our vision. She made us feel so comfortable, we felt like we were talking to a friend who we can trust to take care of us, and our most important and irreplaceable day of our lives. Do yourself the biggest favor of your life and hire this girl.
Do yourself a favor and hire Elina!!!! I cried tears of joy when she posted our sneak peeks, they were the most beautiful pictures I ever saw! She captured so manny candid moments ...
that as a bride you don't get to see during the wedding. It was like a bird's eye view of my day in the most beautiful vivid color that I get to relive every time I look at them. I simply don't know how can we ever express our gratitude to Elina, her talent, professionalism, kindness and patience throughout the whole process. She listened to what we wanted, went above and beyond to capture our vision and delivered pictures that my family still talks about at every get together. She's simply the best, both as a professional and a person.

d with, and I've worked with a lot of photographers(I used to model in my college years). She's the perfect combination of professional but also makes you feel like you've known each other for years. My husband usually hates getting pictures taken, but even he commented how relaxed he was, and actually how much fun the shoot with Elina was. Our parent, guests and everyone were very impressed with her! And our pictures look like straight out of a magazine!
We hired Elina for our son’s wedding. She was so sweet and so easy to get along from the beginning, very accommodating. This girl knows her stuff, she wrangled all of us, got every...
thing done in a timely manner, and when she delivers the gallery we were shocked how beautifully she captured the entire day. She somehow made the most ordinary things look extraordinary! We were very pleased with the quality and service Elina provided. We’d recommend her 100% to any couples that are looking for an amazing photographer!
I hired Elina when she had a sale for her boudoir shoots and I knew I wanted to surprise my husband with a boudoir book. She was AWESOME and somehow I wasn’t nervous whatsoever the...
whole shoot. She made me feel super comfortable, was well aware of my insecurities and I had so much fun that I want to do another one! I would have liked for her to be a tad more communicative (communication is literally #1 in my book for vendors) as my photos were about a week late (she had brides with weddings before mine so since I was early, mine got pushed to the end, understandably), but she ended up sending me way more photos than is guaranteed in the contract so it definitely made up for it! She was going to print the book for me, but she didn’t get back to me about it, so I ended up printing on my own through Artifact Uprising. The book came out absolutely gorgeous & my husband was completely shocked. I would definitely do another shoot with her again & recommend for any brides who want to feel confident & sexy.
