professional, yet personable. Instantly upon meeting her, it was as if positivity, happiness and passion radiated off of her. After a 6.5 hour long day together, I can confidently say that she is amongst the best makeup artists I have met. I can go on and on about her personality, but I have to highlight her amazing artistry, as well. There’s an ideology that when you get your makeup done, you essentially are transformed into someone else. Although she certainly has the ability to do so - I didn’t feel entirely transformed - I still felt and looked like me - excepted a glammed version. She definitely gave me what I was looking for. Instead, she used makeup to emphasize the beauty of my face.. i loved that!!! She made me feel confident and stunning in my own skin. Every blemish and dark spot was gone like magic - without the look feeling so cakey. The makeup application wasn’t too heavy and during the duration, she made sure I was comfortable with everything she was doing. I must also bring to light how sanitary she was. If I could hire Joann for every event I have, I truly would. I pray God opens every door for this MUA because it truly is well deserved!
