n constant communication with elena- sending emails, texts, phone calls and even visiting her shop in person twice while providing colored photos of what we wanted for our wedding. everything was laid out for her. although she didn't always respond, or in a timely manner, she still seemed to understand what we wanted from our wedding flowers. after reading a few reviews of her being late or others being unable to get a hold of her on their wedding day, I decided to recruit a family friend to pick up our flowers and ensure nothing was missing or late. when she arrived, she found our flowers to not be ANYTHING like what we wanted. The colors were blush (my wedding was black and white), she added greenery that I did not ask for or approve, she also put flowers with black in them which I specifically asked not for. she also tried to give us in-bloomed flowers and told us they would bloom by the afternoon... my requests were simple- or so I thought- white roses, hydrangeas, eucalyptus & babies breath. I wanted my bridesmaids to ONLY have babies breath. to our surprise, when picking up the flowers, we were told she couldn't get babies breath; so she just did what she could for my bridesmaids bouquets. This was NOT what I wanted. I had a vision and unfortunately, elena did not fulfill it. i'm not sure why it wasn't communicated with us earlier that she wasn't able to obtain certain flowers that we wanted. especially when it was the ONLY flower for my bridesmaid bouquets. interestingly enough, we called trader joe's and they had some. so my family had to run out immediately to grab it. my wedding planner sat on her hands and knees and made my bridesmaids bouquets for me; the way I wanted while now rushing because of the time crunch. my family friend was at elena's shop for 2 hours so as you can imagine, we were behind with photos. groomsmen/ fathers didn't get boutonnières placed until right before walking down the aisle. it was extremely stressful and quite frankly unnecessary if there was better communication. very disappointed with my floral services, one of the most important vendors of the day. not to mention I had already put a deposit for floral preservation/ pressing for after and since my bouquet was from trader joe's, it didn't hold up much past photos. very upsetting & overall not what we envisioned. we requested a refund and she declined. you can see in the photos what I requested vs what we received for mine and my bridesmaids bouquets. also a photo of the unbloomed flowers we were told would bloom by the afternoon...

While communication with Elena wasn’t frequent leading up to the event, if you’re comfortable with most of the coordination happening closer to your date, she’s a great choice. Once we connected the week of the event, everything came together smoothly.
Overall, I’m very happy with the flowers and the value I received, and I would recommend Elena’s Flowers to anyone looking for gorgeous arrangements at a great price.

We wanted wildflowers with lots of color and the boutineers were plain white roses and the other bouquets had majority white and barely any blue which I had told her was our wedding color. Definitely avoid this shop for wedding flowers and flowers in general. I have photos of our texts, the inspiration photos I had sent, and the invoice saying exactly what we want but didn’t get.

gave them a response. They asked me for my email and I gave it to them. I didn’t hear anything for two weeks so I reached back out asking when I could expect a quote. They asked me some additional questions, but did not respond to my initial question of when I could see a quote. A month has gone by and it’s been radio silence. I reached out again and asked if I could expect a quote, or if they are already booked for my wedding day. No response. I never got a quote. They never asked me about scheduling a time to meet or get on a phone call. Nor did they just update me to just to say they are busy but working on something. Very disappointed. I wish they would have told me that they can’t accommodate me instead of leaving me on read.

On the day of the wedding, the final delivery was missing the cake flowers and additional flowers for detail shots that we had discussed during our initial meeting. We had problems with Elena from the start regarding communication, but I told myself it would be ok. I had to contact her every week for 2 months, including paying in full a month ...
and a half early, to get sample photos sent to me for the bridesmaid bouquets. I know not all florists do samples, but I had specifically requested them at booking and was promised them because my grandma was doing my bouquet as a gift whereas I was ordering bridesmaid ones, and I wanted to make sure they would go together. When we finally did get sample pictures, it took a couple iterations and edits but we were able to get to a final sample we agreed on. The problem then came on the day of the wedding. Elena was supposed to arrive at 10 am with the flowers, 11 am came around and still no flowers. We tried calling and texting her for almost an hour, even had my coordinator on the line calling for a backup florist just in case, and nothing. When she finally did answer sometime after noon, the first thing she asked was what was the absolute latest she could show up. Considering we were starting first look and pictures at 1 PM and still had to finish the decor that she had, this was absolutely unacceptable. When the florist did finally arrive, she sent a driver instead of herself, we had to install our own arch flowers which my aunt had to put back together and add more flowers (the florist foam wasn’t wet, pieces were falling out) and we barely made it in time for pictures. On top of this, she sent multiple things wrong for the order. We were supposed to get a flower crown for the flower girl, got a small bouquet instead she could not carry with her basket and petals. I told her numerous times my grandma was making the bridal bouquet, and she still sent one. Our coordinator called her and read her the riot act for not showing up, and Elena promised a full refund. We still have not seen that refund after 2 weeks, and were told by her that she had 2 refunds that week due to “timing miscalculation”. If she completes the refund, I may consider adding a star. The flowers she sent bouquet wise weren’t awful, and they did eventually show up, but it was just completely unprofessional how it was handled and the flowers did need bolstered with flowers of our own. I was lucky I had an army of florist family able to make it work and our day turned out beautifully, but no bride deserves that stress on their wedding day. I think Elena is essentially a good florist with good taste who has potential to do amazing weddings, I really do, but unfortunately you REALLY have to hound her for communication and to make sure everything turns out right.

ces, we had to modify our order substantially and it was difficult to get in touch with Elena to share those changes. She has a business phone and personal phone and it was difficult to reach her and get a response especially with email. On the day of the wedding, the biggest problem was that upon putting on one of the mother’s corsages, it broke because it wasn't secured properly as the hot glue fell apart and the band was different. As well as we could not use two of the boutonnières because the ribbon fell apart and the flowers separated. We also had to go get pins for the remaining ones as the magnets she used did not stay on the suits for the guys. The last thing was that the bridal bouquet was different then when she first created it during our consultation but I think that’s because a lot of the flowers weren’t in bloom. Overall, Elena offered me a refund for the damaged flowers and she has been very kind and professional. If you decide to book with her, I would definitely do it but patience will need to be your strong suit! She has amazing prices especially for someone who isn’t a huge flower person and I was extremely happy overall minus the small hiccups. I received several compliments on my bouquet and Bridesmaids bouquets!

m match without being identical. We were able to rent the wedding arch and tall centerpieces from Elena directly, and they were both BEAUTIFUL. She was flexible re: changes along the way, such as changing the number of centerpieces needed, adding bridal table décor, extra boutonnieres etc.
We knew the colors/vibe we wanted but didn’t know specific flowers or what’s seasonally available. Elena helped us clarify what we aesthetic we wanted and then closer to the wedding date helped us narrow down which specific flowers we did/didn't want to use. If you do have specifics you do or don't want, make sure to send those over. One thing specific we wanted was heavy flowers with little greenery, even though we wanted that wildflower vibe. I would recommend looking at many different bouquet/designs, the more references you have the better since there are so many options.
More than any other vendors, Elena was easy to schedule in-person meetings with throughout the process. I would recommend being in close contact in the few weeks leading up to the wedding to go over details on flower design plus setup details. That said, she won't chase you down, it is on you to keep her up to date on what you want/need. Elena was always happy to answer our questions or give us updates, but she's not a mind reader and doesn't know what you do or don't want to know.

I went a whole month (2 months before my wedding) were I was unable to reach Elena and was contemplating the need to DIY all my florals. I gave a theme and color at our consultation and the day before the wedding was shown pictures of the flowers (already ordered) and they were not what we had previously discussed. I asked that one particular flower not be used in any of my centerpieces (it wasn't even bloomed and looked like a weed), and was reassured by Elena that it would be no problem. I arrive at the reception to see that exact flower in all of my centerpieces. I am willing to forgive a common mistake, but the day before the wedding when we discussed on the phone what flowers were to be used and she ignores my request, that is where I have a problem.
Please don't make the same mistake I did and hire a more organized and professional florist.

re actually really low, my whole wedding with 4 bridesmaids and a big brutal bouquet and corsages and boutonierres and centerpieces was less than a thousand. We had to revamp because of covid though. My bouquet was AMAZING. I was stunned by it. And my cake lady says they were the most beautiful cake flowers she'd ever seen.
