The pianist for the ceremony and saxophone player for the reception made the day and party that much more exceptional. Bryan went above and beyond in coordinating with our drumline day of and even stayed late to play our music for the our last private dance which he didn't have to do. I would reccommend EMG to everyone I know!!!

process were fantastic. We had also been to weddings where EMG provided a great experience, so we felt confident choosing them for our own wedding. Unfortunately, our experience changed once we were assigned our DJ. We remember being told that we would have the opportunity to choose our DJ from a list of DJs available on our date. Instead, we were assigned a DJ, and from our first meeting, we just didn’t feel completely confident. We met with our DJ 2–3 times over Zoom. I had spent a lot of time organizing our music, timeline, and details in the app EMG provided. During one of our meetings, he looked through our song selections and was judging specific genres. Everyone is entitled to their personal music preferences, of course, but this was our wedding, and there were maybe five country songs on a list of nearly 100 songs. We were paying for a service and wanted to feel confident that our music choices would be respected. We also went over important details multiple times, including who was giving speeches and our timeline. Unfortunately, we often left our meetings feeling like our plans weren’t fully understood, even though everything was clearly laid out in the app. By our final meeting, we were honestly considering changing DJs at the last minute because we were so nervous about how the day would go. On the positive side, our DJ was very excited and brought good energy to the wedding day. However, our day-of coordinator did have to correct him on some important details, which unfortunately reinforced some of the concerns we had going into the day. The biggest disappointment came with our music. We had a number of must-play songs that were specifically listed as per the company and DJ's request , and at least 5–10 of them were never played. We even asked for some of these songs to be played during the wedding that night, and only one was eventually played after the bride, the bride’s brother, and another family member each asked the DJ for it. Overall, I think EMG is a company worth looking into, and I do believe they have talented DJs who do an amazing job. We have personally attended weddings where EMG did a fantastic job. Unfortunately, our experience left us feeling like we weren’t fully listened to as the bride and groom, particularly when it came to the music and details we had specifically communicated. I would still consider EMG for a wedding, but I would strongly recommend making sure you are comfortable with and confident in your assigned DJ well before your wedding day. For us, the communication from the company was great — we just wish the execution of our specific requests had matched that same level of care.

Working with James was seamless, EMG has the process down to a tee and using their app was so helpful and easy to load in all of our songs for the day. We had a Jewish-Persian fusion wedding, which meant there were a lot of moving pieces, traditions, and cultural elements to coordinate. He took the time to learn how to pronounce everyone’s names correctly, understand the flow of each ceremony, know exactly which songs needed to be played and when, and make sure that traditions from both of our backgrounds were honored. He seamlessly blended Jewish, Persian, and contemporary music into one cohesive experience that truly reflected us as a couple. During the wedding itself, guests kept coming up to tell us how incredible the music was. People commented on how smooth the transitions were, how perfectly the energy built throughout the night, and how packed the dance floor stayed. Everything flowed effortlessly. One of the biggest highlights was the saxophonist we hired through Elegant Music Group. Walking through the crowd, interacting with guests while playing, and bringing so much energy to the dance floor—it completely elevated the reception. People absolutely loved it, and it’s something our guests are still talking about. Beyond their incredible talent, the entire team was organized, professional, responsive, and so easy to work with. Planning entertainment for a wedding can feel overwhelming, but they made the entire process stress-free and gave us complete confidence that everything would be perfect. Another thing I really appreciated was that their pricing was fair and reasonable. We received quotes from other entertainment companies that were significantly more expensive, and I genuinely don’t think we could have received better service or talent than we did with Elegant Music Group. Adam was our DJ, and we could not have been happier with him. Even now, people are still talking about how incredible the music was and how amazing the energy felt all night long. During cocktail hour and dinner, he walked throughout the room playing among the guests, creating such an elevated and interactive experience. e typically don’t love wedding music, Josuel found a way to make us and our crowd happy, starting with some more popular songs we like and mixing in more of our favorites toward the end of the night. He read the room and the crowd and adjusted to keep the party going. He also found a good balance of music to make sure everyone of varying ethnicities feel included. We really loved all the songs he picked out and were so happy. Even though disaster had struck (a technical issue with the venue’s equipment that caused the music to cut out a few times), he stayed professional and apologized to us after despite it not being his fault. I would definitely recommend EMG and specifically Josual for anyone looking for a personalized experience that doesn’t alienate your guests.

note the photobooth album only had 20 pages so we ran out of space quickly for guests to be able to add their photos and notes. Our disappointments mostly fall on our specific DJ, Josuel. He was a no-show for two of our meetings because he slept through them. This is really hard when you’re already coordinating your work schedules with your fiancé to make these meetings work without using PTO, and than just to not have him start the zoom TWICE. Also he played the wrong version of our first dance, it was the right song name and right artist but it was not the acoustic version, and considering the app had the exact song we wanted this shouldn’t have happened. Overall, even with those mis-steps we had a beautiful Wedding, and an amazing time!! Our guests still compliment the music played that night.

Not only was the song selection great, but he perfectly transitioned the songs and remixed them when needed to keep the energy flowing from one moment to the next. Furthermore every small detail that we cared about, from lowering the volume during dinner to where we wanted to start our first dance he paid attention to and executed perfectly. He was also a delight to work with. We also hired a keyboardist through EMG to play during the ceremony and cocktail hour. They did a fantastic job as well, I’m very impressed with how full the music sounded with just one person. I can’t say I know much about playing piano but friends of mine who do said they thought he was fantastic. Lastly we hired EMG for our lighting and they did a great job with this as well. All together I’m very happy we worked with them and can’t recommend them enough!

In particular, Lavell (Electric Boulevard Band Leader) & the Electric Boulevard artists are truly masters of their craft. My husband and I were EXTREMELY picky about who we chose to perform at our wedding, as we wanted very specific types of music (not your usual, typical wedding songs). Not only did Lavell listen to us repeat this request multiple times and make us feel heard, but man did they deliver! The set list was EXACTLY what we were looking for. We did not stop dancing all night, and our guests cannot stop talking about how incredible the band was. We were beyond thrilled with their performance. I attempted to block them from leaving at the end of the night (lol) because I didn't want them to stop playing!! Truly unbelievable artists. I would recommend EMG, and in particular Electric Boulevard to anyone planning their wedding and looking for a group of incredible, classy, true musicians & performers. On top of that, they are fabulous human beings and were so understanding/adaptable with a minor family emergency happening on our wedding day. We couldn't have asked for anything more in the entertainment company for our wedding day!

t was fantastic. They aren’t a gimmicky large DJ company and run an amazing business. The app was my absolute favorite part of this experience because I had previously been keeping everything in my Iphone notes app. Having a location to put each piece of info with optional notes and your DJ having a direct connection to it is flawless. After we signed our contract we were connected with Travis as our DJ. Travissssss. Absolutely incredible night from the ceremony to the reception he crushed it. (He even handled a 2 minute ceremony like an absolute boss with a seamless transition to cocktail hour) From our first meeting with him, we knew we were all going to get along well, being into the same music and laughing about the same things, it was good vibes all around. Everyone kept making fun of me because Travis kept asking my opinion and I’d be like “yeah, whatever you want, you pick, I trust you” and would laugh because I just trusted his opinion wholeheartedly. Now let me tell you, he did NOT MISS ONCE!!! So many times I wanted to say “I love this song” and it was a song not on my list, pulled from a long lost archive of my brain. He nailed this.

What truly impressed us was their ability to read the crowd and create the perfect balance of moments: fun and high-energy when it was time to party, and heartfelt and intimate when it mattered most. They worked closely with us ahead of time to understand our style, and then brought it to life in a way that exceeded every expectation. The Vibo app is everything! The ability to review/change/interact with your team before hand is a game changer! I said it once and I’ll say it again, guests are still telling us how amazing the music was — it really was one of the major highlights of our wedding. stop raving about him! The lighting and photo booth also added a really fun, polished feel to the night. That said, we do feel it’s important to share some context. As a gay couple, we were surprised and disappointed to see EMG launch their “EMG Bride” campaign—heavily promoted on TikTok—after we had already signed our contract. The branding centers exclusively on the bride and uses language that feels outdated and exclusionary to LGBTQ+ couples, grooms, nonbinary partners, and anyone who doesn’t see themselves reflected in that very traditional mold. Had the campaign existed when we were booking vendors, we likely would have gone in a different direction. While the party itself was a blast, communication with our DJ was a little bumpy. He missed our final planning meeting, and on the wedding night, he told us dinner wouldn’t be served for another 45 minutes—which was incorrect and caused a spike of stress right before the evening’s main events. Thankfully, our coordinator was nearby and quickly cleared things up. While we’re grateful that our guests had a great time, it would be hard to recommend EMG based on our overall experience and their current marketing direction. We sincerely hope they take this feedback to heart and work toward being more inclusive of all couples moving forward.

One of our favorite parts about the experience was working with Cesar. During our first meeting, Cesar got us started with EMG’s app, which really helped us plan and craft our key songs and timeline for the day. And when we met again to run through our selections, he really understood the feeling we wanted to curate, beyond ‘must-plays’ and our ‘do not play’ list. Cesar acted as our DJ and MC, and was an absolute all-star. For our ceremony and cocktail hour, we had keys, and the vibes were perfect–romantic and thoughtful, and we’re so appreciative that they played a beautiful instrumental rendition of Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros’ “Home” for our processional. As the reception kicked off, Cesar hyped us all up, announced our special moments, and kept everything stress-free, working with us and the venue to make sure all our key moments ran smoothly. He was calm, thorough, and fun to work with–Cesar and The Gramercy even helped us pull off a fast-paced photo-blitz with 20 tables. It was something that could have been a stressful experience, but The Gramercy (along with our photographers and a couple of drunk cousins) made it a really fun experience. As the night progressed, The Gramercy had everyone from our 90-year-old aunts to the pre-teen flower girls on the dance floor. They shifted from well-loved wedding classics to 90s/00s jams, working in our favorite pop-punk, alternative and hip-hop songs. The experience was complete with amazing guitar solos, soulful keys, and a badass drummer, while Cesar created mash-ups that kept us jumping until the last song–Shout–riotously played. And while the dance floor raged on, the EMG Photo Booth allowed our guests to capture some of our favorite (and funniest) pictures from the night. We were happy to learn that The Gramercy plays alongside other EMG acts a couple times a year so that newly engaged couples and married couples alike can come and hear their music. We’ll continue to rock out with them (although now that we’re an old married couple, we’ll keep the head-banging to a minimum). We would recommend them to anyone looking for an incredible band. The piano songs we chose were all covers, and they were perfect. The sax was such a fun addition and everyone loved it. The photobooth was a hit and it was really fun to get an album with notes from our guests afterwards. The communication and process with EMG was seamless and we can’t recommend them enough!

It’s been a month since our wedding, and our guests are still writing us raving about how much fun they had and how amazing our band was. Leading up the wedding, Lavell made us feel calm and confident in the party we were planning. He was detail oriented, full of energy, and willing to talk through every question and thought I had (there were many). Lavell was patient with me. We had a unique taste in music and Lavell and the band were able to curate the most amazing lineup of songs for the night, everyone was on the dance floor. If you are debating in, take this review as a sign to book Electric Boulevard. I promise you they will not disappoint. You will leave your wedding in awe of the time you had. Best decision ever.

For reception, we had a DJ (Jony) and a sax and trumpet on the dancefloor all night. This was the PERFECT hybrid situation! Jony was so amazing to work with. We had our last meeting with him the week of our wedding, which was great and allowed us to feel confident he was going to deliver what we wanted. He had legit ALL of our guests on the dancefloor the entire night. Everyone truly had so much fun because he read the room & played the music accordingly, based on our playlist, too. The sax & trumpet players were such an elegant touch, our guests loved it. The best part of EMG is the app they use for you to add all songs, notes, etc. for your entire day. It made the process seamless.

Jason hit the right balance between music for the older crowd and the younger crowd. Jason was also on the mike the perfect amount. he didnt miss any of the annoucements we requested but also didnt talk too much and kept the music going. We also added on the string duo + keys for our ceremony and cocktail hour which we are so happy we did. it made our ceremony that much more beautiful and intimate and we got so many compliments on the live music too. thank you EMG! would recommend to anyone to use this company!

e loved having the live music for the ceremony, it made the songs we picked really special for us. Bryan was our DJ and he absolutely crushed it! He was very professional and enthusiastic. Our dance floor was packed all night. We wanted a blend of 80s/90s/pop punk and he totally got what we were going for. Guests are still telling us how much fun they had dancing all night. The electric guitarist that played at the reception was good, but didn't get into or interact with the crowd, which I expected. It didn't change the vibe of the dance floor, but I would've preferred he was more involved. Overall, we’re very happy with EMG!

and everything in between so the music was exactly what we wanted. Our DJ, Matty G, was so much fun. His enthusiasm was contagious and he did a great job reading the room. I rarely left the dance floor! Our ceremony/cocktail hour musicians were also absolutely fantastic. We had the string duo + keys and their arrangements were gorgeous. Overall, we were so happy with EMG’s services and professionalism.

Shawn was very attentive to us on our wedding day and went above and beyond as a DJ. He even captured great footage of our day! We decided to hire a saxophone player relatively last minute, and Justin did not disappoint. He and Shawn kept our dance floor alive all night. We cannot recommend the EMG family enough.
