Elegant Events Florist

d incorporate details of both cultural backgrounds.

owers for my client, but also provide all the event decor. They were able to work with my client's budget and brought our vision to life. Highly recommend Elegant Events for all your event florals and decor needs!

-in-law was thrilled, and the cake was absolutely beautiful. it was more than I dreamed of I will definitely use Sheila and her staff again. Thank you for making the day so magical

ed what I could have dreamed up on my own. I’ve often said in the months following that I wished I could have frozen the flowers and kept them forever. All of my guests for clamoring to take the flowers home. I’m all I would choose elegant events hands down over any others!

made it happen. They did both my flowers and lighting! We got so many complements on both. I highly recommend them!

was so easy to work with. She is professional, responsive, accommodating and worked within our budget. She was able to take our vague thoughts on decor and create a beautiful plan. And even though she delivered exactly what she promised, I was still blown away by the installations for the ceremony, reception and bridal bouquets! It looked like we spent twice as much as we actually did! She and her team also had a short turnaround time to set up the ceremony and 34 reception tables and accomplished that expertly. Sheila’s experience certainly shows. I enjoyed working with her; she made it easy and stress free. I highly recommend Elegant Events Florist and hope to have the opportunity to work with them again.

ssured during the whole busy, stressful wedding planning process. My florist, Melissa, did an incredible job understanding my specific tastes and vision. I told her how important my personal bouquet was to me and she really executed it even better than I could have imagined! We had to make several significant last minute changes due to rain and the team at Elegant Events knew exactly what to do and were able to rent the proper equipment with just a day's notice. I did not have to worry about a thing and I felt really confident in their ability to take into account all of my preferences and requests. Everything was beautiful!

d what I was less sure of. On the day of the wedding I was amazed to see our discussions and design board/photos fully realized, and I felt my romantic vision was reflected beautifully. The shop’s also very conveniently located near a Septa regional rail which I really appreciated as a bride coming in from NYC- Amtrak to Philly and a quick train, couldn’t be easier. Thank you Sheila and team- I couldn’t be happier with the beautiful flowers you provided and the care and love you put into your work!

showcased jeweled pops of color and paid homage to my late father by incorporating books from his vintage collection. They also connected me to the equally wonderful team at Forget Me Knot who came at the end of the evening to recycle and repurpose our florals for a local hospital of my choosing. Thank you again for creating the floral landscape for our special day!

the most incredible florals that I've seen at a wedding. Since the wedding, I have had so many people in attendance, as well as those that have seen pictures we've shared, comment that the flowers were so beautiful and full that they looked artificial! That is a testatment to the amazing staff that took my daughter's vision, tweaked it using a bit of my input, to create a "take your breath away" floral design. From the deconstruced arch, to the elegant sweetheart table, to the candle wall, to the table settings, every detail was superb. The personal florals were equally as elegant and refined. My daughter's wedding bouquet was perfect with her gown, as well as the bouquets for the bridesmaids and the two mothers; the groom, his groomsmen and the two dads had boutonniéres that complemented their tuxedoes as elegantly as the ladies' bouquets. I could go on but I'll let some of the pictures speak. I have told everyone about this team of people and if you are looking for a florial design team choose Elegant Events Florist!

and flexible in meeting your vision.

nt we will never forget. I would definitely recommend Elegant Events for your wedding!

itted to making clients' visions come to life. I highly recommend!

ng on the A-team whenever we works together! 💙💙💙😍

eedback with her multiple times, many elements that we said we did not like or wanted to see changed ended up in the floral arrangements on our wedding day. I was so disappointed when I saw all of the arrangements her team created, except my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets. She contracted with Nisha from LAX States to create the Mandap for our Indian wedding and we were incredibly disappointed with the final product. The Mandap swayed dangerously during the ceremony and the furniture that we rented through them sunk during the ceremony. We never had the opportunity to speak with the Mandap designer directly, and Sheila never shared her information with us. Sheila did not take our feedback throughout the planning process into account, did not clearly communicate with us throughout the experience working with her and did not share critical limitations of our design and budget until AFTER our wedding when we did a review that took nearly a month after our wedding day to schedule. In that review, it was clear that she didn't listen or retain the feedback that we provided her throughout the design process, and was not receptive to our feedback or took sincere accountability for her mistakes. I've connected with recent brides of Sheila's upon sharing my experience in other forums and they have unfortunately shared similar experiences. Sheila was the most difficult vendor to work with out of my vendor team and I hope that sharing these thoughts prevents other couples from going through the same (expensive) disappointment that we did. *The responses noted in this review accurately reflect this business practices that we experienced with this vendor

tiful our florals were , especially cascading the staircase in the grant foyer of our venue. My bouquet, our centerpieced, our ceremony design was exactly as I imagined and this team brought it to life perfectly. We also used this team to design an outside lounge which was also one of my favorite parts of our special day.

erfectly! Thank you so much does Sheila and her team for making our day so special!

beautifully!! We had some minor communication scuffles during the course of planning where I had concerns about the transparency of invoicing as I tried to figure out how to cut back on my cost, however in the end with the exceptional quality of florals she produced in the end I was beyond pleased. Maybe it was misunderstanding of how much I actually wanted to cut back because the quality in the end was more than I was planning for and the pricing was beyond reasonable! Sheila takes great pride in the work she does and is very talented and that will shine through on your wedding day.

Sheila was able to transform the few ideas we shared into stunning arrangements that reflected our style and heightened the romance of the day. What's more, Sheila helped us design a gorgeous arrangement on a circular wooden arch for what would have been our outdoor ceremony, had it not ended up raining all day. Instead, her quick-thinking team moved the arch into the plan B space -- a cozy historic barn on the property -- where it created a show-stopping and unexpected (yet somehow intentional-looking) backdrop for some of the most special moments of the day, not to mention numerous photos. Three months later, and guests are still raving about how beautiful and unique the florals were, while I relive them nearly daily through our photos and videos. Thank you, Elegant Events Florist, for being an indelible part of our day.

s. From the bouquets, to the centerpieces, Sheila worked WITHIN MY BUDGET (!) to create the look and feel of my dreams. She was communicative, warm, and thoughtful. Somehow she managed to take the vision I had in my head and bring it to life more beautiful than I had imagined. I would recommend her to anyone. Do not hesitate to hire Elegant Events for your floral needs!!!

What I am most thankful for is her willingness to support my vision and manage the hanging of garlands that I had hand crafted! She was very responsive and a joy to work with. Thanks Sheila!!!!!

nières were forgotten. They did not arrive until 20 minutes before the ceremony began so I did not have any of my flowers for my photos with my bridesmaids, individual bridal photos and family photos. It added a lot of extra stress hoping they’d arrive on time for the ceremony. The wristlet flowers for the mothers/grandmothers were not the color of the flowers that we had discussed. Therefore they did not match the dresses as planned. We had also agreed that some of the centerpieces would start outside and line the aisle at the ceremony location, which did not happen. Therefore there was nothing lining the aisle. All in all the flowers were beautiful and I was pleased however, not everything was executed as discussed which was disappointing.

w beautiful and elegant the floors and decor were. Everything from inital contact to wedding day execution was professional, creative, and made us feel secure. Sheila, THANK YOU again for understanding our vision and executing it. Don't hesitate to hire Elegant Event Florists for your wedding !

She also worked with our budget. Very professional and would highly recommend!

rs were perfect and all the flower arrangements lasted the full day in the heat and humidity. I truly enjoyed working with them and happily recommend them to all prospective couples!!

d photographer were all great; the photographer was especially helpful in developing our wedding-day timeline. We were especially impressed with Sheila’s design team. Sheila did a great job translating a few Pinterest photos and virtual conversations into a gorgeous venue. She truly exceeded our expectations. Kudos to the flexibility of the team and the venue as we had a day-of switch from exterior to interior ceremony location without compromising the design. Ultimately, a good time was had by all.

or from the ceremony for the reception and were willing to make other adjustments along the way to accommodate our budget.

equired a minimum before even inquiring, and I appreciated how accommodating and understanding they were while also not making us feel like we *had* to spend extra money. Once I explained and showed pictures of my vision, they broke down everything by cost and options of different florals. I appreciated the breakdown because this was not my field of expertise, and it showed that I could really trust them. About a week before the wedding day the company reached back out to check in to make sure we had no second thoughts or extra questions. Upon our big day, arriving to the venue, the florals were already set up and it was everything we could have imagined and more. At the end of the night a member of the florists team came to break down the remaining decorations. We were able to re-use pergola and table bouquets used in our ceremony for our reception, which I appreciated because I did not want to just use the florals once in our wedding. Overall, we could not recommend going with Elegant Events Florists enough because of the excellent communication throughout the beginning to the end, the accommodation of our budget, the trust they always assured us of, and the execution on our wedding day.

and I knew that I was in good hands! I talked to her about the venue, my wedding party dresses and sent some pictures of bouquets I liked. On the day of the wedding when the flowers were delivered everyone was blown away! They were more beautiful than I could have imagined and really made the day and our photos. You won’t regret hiring Elegant Events!

elect from. All design elements from my wedding were amazing! I would certainly recommend Elegant Events Florist!

ou can upload inspiration photos and ideas. I didn’t need to upload many pictures because I met with Sheila and Camille for a design session. I honestly did not know what I wanted but Camille asked questions and showed me pictures to find out what I liked and didn’t. When I met with them, I knew I was in good hands! They love what they do. On the day of the wedding, I was blown away by how beautiful my florals were and how they set up my ceremony arch! My bouquet was exactly what I wanted, and my bridesmaids were happy with their bouquets. The workers who set up the space were so friendly and professional. They did a wonderful job. I received numerous compliments from my wedding guests about the florals and décor. Thank you so much to Shelia, Camille, and their team! We would definitely recommend using Elegant Events for your wedding/event floral needs!

gant Events Florist did just that!

conversation with Sheila I knew she was the right person for the job. She worked comfortably within our budget and was so friendly and easy to work with! We got tons of compliments on our flowers and the two centerpieces I took home lasted more than 10 days. I would be happy to work with her again in the future after such a wonderful experience for our wedding.
