Jay and his incredible team at Elegant Event Lighting are absolute rockstars!
Going into the process, we had no idea how critical lighting and production are to a wedding. Make...
no mistake—outside of your planner, no other vendor has as much influence over how your wedding story is told. Jay and his team are true masters, bringing a combination of technical expertise and artistic vision that you rarely see outside of the professional theater world.
Our vision was ambitious and perhaps unrealistic: we wanted the night to seamlessly transition from a fairy tale setting, to a Chinese New Year–inspired celebration, to a high-energy Las Vegas nightclub—all within a very reasonable budget. Jay and his team somehow executed this flawlessly.
Many of our guests couldn’t quite pinpoint what made everything feel so grand and immersive—but everyone knew it was special. Somehow, the team was able to make a 200+ person wedding pivot on a dime while elevating the perceived impact to an extraordinary level. Not a single guest familiar with wedding costs estimated ours at less than double the actual spend. One friend, who has decades of experience in musical theater production in NYC, thought it cost five times as much. Before the wedding, we never could have imagined how lucky we were to have them as a part of our team.
Without Jay and team, our wedding just would not have been it. We could not recommend them highly enough! Let me just make one last thing clear, if Jay is not available during your wedding, then move your wedding.

red dance floor! It was truly spectacular! The ballroom and dance floor took our breath away.
Fortunately, the rain outside led us to having our ceremony inside on the dance floor and it was even more special. It felt like we were in heaven with the lights hanging down above us. The lights also "danced" to the music all night long as they changed color and rhythm. It was so neat!
The EEL team executed our vision flawlessly with the most professional, luxury, and custom design. It was beyond our wildest dreams and absolutely worth the investment. They were so easy to work with as well and we were grateful they could do an early set-up and midnight tear down. Thank you so much to EEL!
Maureen and Jay were incredibly responsive and so easy to work with. Such nice people and they truly brought my vision to life! Would HIGHLY recommend.

as visually stunning, and they wowed all of us! The entire staff was professional, timely and so patient. There was an extensive setup involved (about 12 hours with a team of staff members). Jay and his team designed the perfect lighting experience for my client. There were static uplights, focal lighting on my buffets and bars, and color-changing moving lights all around the ballroom and floor that layered in interesting textures to highlight this event. I cannot say enough about the Elegant Event Lighting team. A 5-star review is not enough – I wish I could give 10.
Thank you, Elegant Event Lighting, for helping create a truly magical event.

was very patient when I changed my decisions various times about the ceremony drape style and color, and the lighting fixtures. Maureen even showed me additional styles less than a month before the wedding as I couldn't decide. She is the sweetest and the EEL team executed our vision to perfection. EEL had wooden rings surrounding the chandeliers and they worked seamlessly with our florist, Hedonia, as the floral team decorated the rings. The EEL team is professional and very experienced in event decoration. We received SO MANY compliments about the ceremonial drapes and chandeliers which brought elegance to our special day. EEL does so much more complex designs and beautiful work so I highly recommend EEL for wedding or any event to add a touch of magic to your day. Thank you!!
