About this vendor
Based in Newport Beach, CA, Elegant Dj Services is a wedding DJ business. Their services extend beyond just pressing play, however. They are committed to keeping the event running smoothly, ensuring you never forget your big day.
Elegant Dj Services was founded by Jose Cervantes in 2000. He uncovered his passion for music at a young age and worked tirelessly to improve his skills before opening his own business. Jose’s talent has allowed him to make DJing his full-time career, and not just a passion project. At weddings, Elegant Dj Services know that the most essential part of their work is ensuring that the couple is enjoying their day. They tailor every performance to suit the preferences of their clients, whether through acting as MC or avoiding certain songs. Weddings are an immensely special event and should be treated as such. They want their services and performances to be an extension of the couple’s personalities.
From rehearsal parties to late-night receptions, Jose adapts to fit whatever the couple needs. Their choice of music can cross all manner of genres, from EDM to mariachi, while Jose’s professional MC abilities keep guests’ energy up. Exciting lighting on the dance floor can help to create a party atmosphere. Whether it’s a large or intimate gathering, he wants every couple to have seamless, high-quality entertainment. To give you even more time to spend with your loved ones, Jose is happy to manage setting up and breaking down his equipment. If you want a truly one-of-a-kind event, this business even has an LED-covered party robot that can interact with your guests.

Jose is an absolutely joy to work with! I was stressed with planning and he was so gentle, not pushy at all, while also being very efficient. He did such a great job at our wedding...
!!!! It wouldn’t have been the same without him. I highly recommend Elegant DJ Services and would book Jose again in a heartbeat.
We were very impressed with our service with Elegant DJ Services. From the start Jose presented himself in a very professional manner. The packages that he offered were very comp...
rehensive and competitively priced. He was excellent in maintaining communication and ensuring all of our questions were answered. He helped us compile a playlist and filled in with other music that made a consistent vibe. Jose was very timely on the big day and played a key role in the flow and timing of the ceremony and reception. He was very adaptable and engaged with the flow. You can tell that he really cares about what he does and his clients. One of our concerns was that most of the people in our family are not the dancing type. Jose had overcome this and there wasn’t a single person that missed the dance floor. Everyone had a great time and danced the night away. We were very pleased with Elegant DJ Services and will undoubtedly seek his services again. You could not ask for a more professional and engaging DJ. Thank you Jose for helping the wedding of our dreams come true! It was beautiful and perfect day.
I booked Joe almost a year ahead of my wedding date. He was always super responsive to any of my questions even if we were still far out until our wedding. Not only that, once I ...
told him about the venue requiring him to have insurance, he took care of that. Which is super nice because other vendors were a lot more difficult to work with once they knew that they needed proof of insurance. Fast forward to the wedding day, he was there early to set up, dressed professionally for the occasion and kept my guests on the dance floor until the very end. He really knew what songs to start off the Dancing to because people flocked to the dance floor. It was also a nice details like the balloons that he brought and were passed out to get our guests in a festive mood. I highly recommend Joe, hands down I would hire him again. Thanks for making my wedding day so much fun 😊
DJ Joe made our wedding awesome! He played all the songs I requested and at the right time. He has a great attitude and is very talented.
