After my hired makeup artist ghosted me, I was on the quest to find a makeup artist and hair stylist. I wasn't going to hire just anyone that was available that day; I wanted to m...
ake sure that our energies matched. Elaine and I exchanged a few emails, then we had a call and it was like I found my long lost friend. We hit off so well that I couldn't wait for my makeup trial. The day of the trial came and Elaine had a car issue. I thought, okay, no problem, that happens. We rescheduled, and when that day came, she had an emergency with an animal she was fostering. She felt horrible and I understood, but in the back of my mind, I was worried. I told her that I was concerned, and she asked to give her a bit to figure something out. She made some calls and was able to get another volunteer to help her with the animal. She came over and my trial was great. We laughed the whole time.
She was going to do my makeup only, as my hair stylist was going to do my hair. However, Elaine and Maria were going to do almost everyone else's hair and makeup. The night before the wedding, my hair stylist (who is also a very good friend) confided in me that she was very worried about doing my hair for the wedding, as it was a big event and she doesn't do "wedding hair" anymore, especially not for clients; she doesn't want to risk ruining a relationship with a client or friend. I told my friend that I have another stylist, so let me check and make sure that she can do my hair too. I texted Elaine and she immediately said it was no problem, she'd do my hair too (she didn't do it in the trial since I had someone else doing my hair).
Elaine and Maria showed up the next morning and they rolled through my bridesmaids and soon to be mother in law. We still had time, so I asked if they could also do another family member's hair and makeup, and they said sure, no problem. All in all, they did 7 of us and kept us all laughing and calm.
Elaine is a true artist and made me feel seen and valued. She has a heart of gold and will hustle to make sure that you look and feel your best.

d when I explained what I would like for a make up look, she nailed it in the trial run. I talked to her about all my girls and what they may want/need, and she asked me to take them on her own, I said sure. I had complete confidence in her abilities - so did my daughter! She actually gave Elaine free reign to do whatever she wanted - and it came out beautifully. Once the day of came around, she went above and beyond expectations for everyone of us - and they all appreciated her efforts. She's amazing and I would highly recommend her to everyone.
Elaine and her team were fantastic to work with for my bridal party. She set up a great schedule for the day to keep us all on track and catered to each of the girls’ hair and make...
up requests. I really liked getting to do a trial run with Elaine as well in advance of the wedding. I highly recommend Elaine for all hair and makeup needs!
Elaine is amazing! She came to my home to do my hair/makeup trial. She listened to what I wanted, clarified things when needed, and was just fun and easy to work with. What I re...
ally appreciated about her was if something was just not quite right, I felt comfortable letting her know and she was determined to get it exactly the way I wanted. The day of, she and a colleague came to the hotel suite and did the entire party (total of 5 ladies) hair and make-up. The bridal party looked fabulous, and everyone was thrilled with how they looked on the day. Elaine is fantastic!

believe her skills!! If you are trying to find someone to do your make-up, Elaine is your person.
Elaine is amazing! Elaine did my hair and makeup, hair for my 4 bridesmaids, and then had no trouble adding on hair for one of my flower girls last minute. She also did individual ...
faux lashes for me and my bridesmaids. She was very conscious of my budget and accommodating. Elaine includes a hair and makeup trial for the bride at her home salon and will travel to your location on the wedding day. She is very responsive and will quickly address all of your concerns. As soon as Elaine starts working on you, you can just tell that she has been in the business for a long time because she is very experienced and professional. I loved working with her because she is so fun, relaxed, and really just feels like one of your girlfriends as you get ready. I spent maybe 20 seconds flipping through pictures on my phone of hair and makeup I liked and Elaine nailed it! She is completely open to making adjustments and giving you the look you want but will also offer suggestions and tips. After my trial, the faux lashes were making one of my eyelids fold more than the other (I'm honestly the only person to notice this), but Elaine wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied and comfortable and had me come in for a second trial to make sure everything was perfect for me. On the wedding day, Elaine met my bridesmaids at the hotel to start on their hair and then came to the wedding venue to do my hair and makeup. With so much that goes on on the wedding day, Elaine was one of the few people who really kept me calm and focused on myself. The only time I had to eat was while Elaine was working on me but she didn't mind at all. Elaine is not just incredibly talented but she is so sweet and caring and truly makes you feel special on your wedding day. My hair and makeup lasted all day and our wedding was outdoors. My bridesmaids and I received so many compliments and we felt so beautiful! I highly recommend Elaine and would hire her again in a heartbeat! She is the absolute best!!
Elaine did my makeup for my sister-in-law's wedding and I knew I had to use her for mine! She did a beautiful job in my trial and I felt comfortable that I would look like a polish...
ed version of myself on my wedding day. She did the makeup for myself, my mother, my mother in law to be, and my 5 bridesmaids. Everyone loved their makeup!

work with and arrived right on time. I had a large bridal party (9 bridesmaids) and she did everyone! ALL of my bridesmaids were thrilled with their makeup!! Everyone looked stunning. I can't say thank you enough for helping make my wedding the best day ever!!!

f, she was very friendly and pretty darn funny, and she estimated the time it would take to finish everyone's hair and makeup PERFECTLY. We were out the door right on time, which was very important to me. Oh, and did I mention the fact that we all looked AMAZING? We had a classy yet earthy feel going on, which included a herb garland I wanted in my hair, and she incorporated it PERFECTLY. I was able to enjoy my special day to the fullest because I knew I looked exactly how I pictured and I looked AMAZING. That's a good feeling to have.
Elaine was amazing for hair and makeup. My wedding planners had worked with her before and suggested her to me. I had bridal portraits done about 2 months before the wedding and wi...
th some pictures from Pinterest, we came up with great hair and makeup for the portraits. She is a true professional and knew how to do my makeup so it would show in the portraits (she is right when she says it looks like a lot in person, but great in portraits!). She did my makeup and hair for the wedding as well and it was perfect all day and night. She brought an assistant to help with the bridesmaids hair and everyone loved their hair. She is great and I wish I had a reason to get my hair and makeup done more often with her!
Elaine,

day was truly a test for makeup. The makeup lasted for 14 hours plus in 105 degree heat and I did not even glow! I know without your help my makeup would have washed away in the heat!!

ng with Elaine was that she really listened to each of us when we described what we wanted. If something wasn’t quite right, she was able to adjust it so that it was perfect. Since there were five of us, Elaine came to my parents’ house to get us all ready. She was very respectful of being in someone’s home with all her equipment and took steps to protect the furniture, etc.
Elaine worked pretty swiftly, but never seemed to be rushed or made us feel rushed. I did do both a hair and make up trial with her about two months prior to the wedding and recommend you do as well. This helped Elaine know exactly what to do on the day of the wedding and made it easy on my since I didn’t have to make any decisions that day. Our whole wedding party looked gorgeous – not overly done but glamorous versions of ourselves.
