We made a somewhat last minute decision to hire a “day of” just to help with some set up and tear down of decorations. But now, after the wedding, I cannot imagine having made it t...
hrough the day without Michelle. She accomplished everything we needed and things we had no idea we needed - from ensuring tables were in the right place, to making sure people were where they needed to be. Michelle was the absolute best and most helpful. She was somehow everywhere at all times and knew every movement throughout the night. We could not have done it without her. Beyond five stars!
We worked with Michelle for the day-of/ month-of coordination package for our wedding and are so glad we did. Michelle is incredibly organized, responsive, and is always thinking 2...
-3 steps ahead. She worked with us for about a month leading up to the wedding, working with us to review our timeline & vendors and offering helpful suggestions along the way. Michelle used her experience to help us anticipate and prepare for every aspect of our wedding, which is exactly what we needed. Most of all, she cared deeply about getting to know us and our vision for the day so she could work on executing that vision while we enjoyed the day.
I planned most of our wedding, so I was initially on the fence if I should reserve a day-of-coordinator or not, since our venue had a catering manger; but looking back, I would absolutely urge every couple to DO IT. After meeting Michelle and having a wedding that went so perfectly, I really see this as an investment in the time & energy you put into the planning process. Knowing that Michelle understood exactly how I wanted things to go and I could trust her to make that happen allowed me to full be in the moment during our wedding and enjoy every single minute of the day. Michelle's rates are incredibly reasonable for the level of service and peace of mind she brings. I am so grateful for Michelle's time, care, and attention that helped make the day so special for us and allowed our friends and family (and us!) to enjoy every single minute.
We hired Michelle for day-of wedding planning. We debated about whether to pay for a coordinator and are so thankful we did! It was amazing having Michelle there to confirm with ...
all of the vendors before the wedding day and then to handle the entire setup. While we were getting ready and posing for photos, she made sure all of the vendors were settling in. We were especially appreciative because we had to go with our rain plan and she made sure everything still went seamlessly. She was incredibly responsive and was so patient with all of my questions in the few weeks before the wedding.
Michelle was the calmest, nicest, most reasonable and most knowledgeable planner I could have worked with. She talked me (and my zany relatives) off many ledges. I’m so happy we wo...
rked with her; she was able to help us pull off a really beautiful and meaningful wedding celebration where a good time was had by all (and where we didn’t spend a fortune, by DC standards.) Thanks so much!!!
Michelle was amazing! There were some last minute family health issues that were stressful for me and Michelle was cool as a cucumber. She was on top of everything and I am so gla...
d I hired her for day of coordination!
Michelle helped me plan a "wedding reception" after my husband and I had a small elopement. Some of the biggest benefits of working with Michelle:
1. Michelle was a great sounding...
-board for ideas. She lets you know what's appropriate and customary, and takes logical steps to turn ideas into reality. This kept me from talking to every friend/family member about my party and driving them all crazy!
2. As the big day got closer, Michelle took over communication with all of the vendors. Our vendors had so many parties on their agenda, they wouldn't always remember my requests. Luckily, I had Michelle who put me as her top priority in those conversations so my needs were met!
3. THIS IS THE BIG ONE. On the day of our party, Michelle showed up at the venue several hours ahead of time. She put out our decorations, and handled everything with the venue/band/food/drinks. I received a few texts with simple questions which let me know she was handling every detail. Meanwhile, I got my hair, makeup, and nails done with my closest friends who traveled to come to our party. I've been to so many weddings where the closest family and friends are running around setting up until minutes before the wedding. Having Michelle meant gifting our guests a relaxing day. Michelle also broke down the event and handled end-of-night payments so that my husband and I could join our guests for an after party.
Michelle was so great to work with and really payed attention to ever detail. It was so amazing to have her there day of to help out. I loved working with her and highly recommen...
