About this vendor
2023 Update:
I have had the amazing opportunity to DJ for the last 22 years. (I can't even believe I'm writing that :)
I have done thousands of weddings and hundreds of corporate events over the years. I've focused my career based on the needs of my kids. When they were little I did a ton of weddings and as they got older and needed me during the weekends I stepped away from weddings so I could have my weekends and focused on corporate events.
Now that they are older I have my weekends back and I'm able to get back into weddings. I miss being a part of someone's big day, making them dance and have a memorable night. I also teach dance lessons to those that want to choreograph or learn a ballroom dance for their first dance.
What sets me apart is my background in dance and my ability to get people out on the dance floor. I take the music desires of the couple and make them flow through the evening seamlessly. I know exactly what song to play and when. I can read the crowd for what is appropriate. I am professional, timely, versatile in my music styles, and provide personalized attention to each of my couples leading up to their wedding day. I'm the kind of DJ that people vibe off of because I love my job so much that I'm back there dancing with you. It's all about the energy!
E2 Events will provide you with the best night of your life and your guests will be raving for the months to come.
I look forward to hearing from you!

Jaime is awesome! She arrived super early at our venue to set up and scope everything out. We were pretty open with what types of music we wanted, and the music that she played dur...
ing dinner was just right. Our guests were up and dancing before we had even done our first dance. Jaime worked with us before the wedding too with dance lessons so that we felt comfortable. She played all the right songs to keep the party going, and everyone had a blast!
Jaime at E2 events kept our guests on the dance floor all night long -- there was literally never a lull in the energy. She's also incredibly nice and I always enjoyed our convers...
ations. However, during the planning process, she was often extremely slow to respond to our questions or requests, sometimes taking weeks to reply. When we relayed our frustration about her slow responses, she did step it up and got back to us faster in the last few weeks of our planning process. At the end of the day, she delivered a great product. Many of our guests complimented us on our DJ.
Best DJ ever! If I ever need a DJ again it will be her, if anyone I know needs a DJ her number will be the only one I give. I was a wedding planner for many years and saw tons of D...
J's, She's the best, which is why I had her for my wedding. She played all the music I asked for, showed up early and had a great time. Guests loved her too!
DJ Jaime was awesome! She was flexible and accommodated our schedule to meet and go over wedding details. She's energetic and has a great talent for reading the crowd. She played a...
lmost everything on our list and kept the dance floor full all night. I would definitely recommend her!
Jaime was the DJ for our June 4 wedding and we were absolutely thrilled with the music! We would recommend keeping in touch with Jaime via phone - every time I called her or reques...
ted a meeting, she was very accommodating. She also worked with us on budget and was very reasonably priced. There were people on the dance floor all night long and several of the guests commented on the great music. We had a blast! We sent Jaime a list of songs that we wanted to hear and I think almost all of them were played. (It was a lot of fun during dinner to keep thinking 'oo I love this song'!) When looking for a DJ, we wanted to make sure we didn't end up with someone over the top and cheesy and Jaime had the perfect balance - her announcements had energy but were never cheesy or obnoxious.
We were never able to get our schedules sorted out to meet with Jaime before our wedding. We talked on the phone a couple of times, and thought we had conveyed what we were looking...
for - a balance of songs our parents / older relatives would enjoy and some great dance songs for the younger (our age) set. We ended up with a great dance party and NO slow songs. The music was also much too loud for a wedding reception (guests not dancing could hardly hear each other speak). We also were never able to see her song list to make a list of "must haves" vs "DO NOT play". She did play our entrance song, 1st dance song and final song perfectly, but there was some significant issues with a song my sister-in-law and her sister wanted to sing for us (technical difficulties). Jaime is a great DJ, but I think I would only recommend her to someone who wants a fabulous and current dance party atmosphere only. Jaime has young children and a busy schedule, which combined with our hectic schedules meant that we never got to sit down in person and go over things. I think things would have been a lot better if we could have met her a month ahead of time (which we tried to set up for almost 3 months). In the end, I wish we had gone with someone who had time to meet and plan out our reception. That said, Jaime has great energy and really knows how to keep a party rocking. It's all in what you're looking for.
