As the bride and groom, we wanted to capture the fleeting, unforgettable moments of our big day as we’ve been told it goes by in the blink of an eye! We were fortunate enough to re...
ceive a recommendation from our wedding venue, Norfolk Botanical Gardens, for an incredibly talented photographer, Dustin Lewis, who exceeded our every expectation! What struck us most about Dustin was his ability to capture the pure essence of the true happiness we felt and the fun moments that occurred throughout the wedding day! His attention to detail and artistic eye brought out the small, tender moments that may have been overlooked.
Dustin was not only a master behind the camera, but also a true professional. He arrived on time, maintained a friendly and approachable demeanor, and made us feel truly at ease throughout the whole day! His level of communication is impeccable as he was always willing to answer a text, email or call whenever we had a question, so we knew we were in good hands the day of the wedding. As two camera shy individuals, Dustin pushed us to be our best selves by giving us confidence and coaching us to do so! No matter how ridiculous we may have looked, we never once felt embarrassed. He was a true champion throughout our outdoor wedding, on July 12th, in Virginia! He suggested many different ideas and shots, which ended up becoming some of our favorite pictures from the day.
We’ve received our full wedding gallery and we’re absolutely blown away by the level of craftsmanship and artistry. Each new image we see as we scroll through is a true work of art that evokes the joy and tenderness we experienced during those precious moments. Dustin managed to encapsulate those emotions and create timeless memories that we will cherish forever! Working with Dustin has been an absolute pleasure from our engagement photo shoot to the end of the wedding day. His exceptional talent, professionalism, and dedication to his craft makes him a stand out choice in the world of photography! We wholeheartedly recommend his services to anyone seeking extraordinary photographs and an unforgettable wedding day! - The Canavoses

y, but it actually wasn't. I went through the a long list of photographers I had and checked out their websites, social medias, etc. and as soon as I found Dustin Lewis I knew I had found the one. His photography stuck out to me with such beautiful colors and his style. I was so glad he was available for my wedding date. He was so amazing to work with. He made our engagement photo session so fun and like a fairytale. Of course the photos turned out absolutely gorgeous and perfect! Then on our wedding day he made sure to take every photo possible to capture our day. I know that many years from now when we look back on the photos that not a single moment was missed and we can relive the moments. He is very professional and gets business taken care of, but also makes sure every has fun and he joins in the fun of the day too. He made sure to capture the photos I really wanted to take, made sure we got outside during sunset to take photos, helped us stay on schedule, and made sure we were taken care of on our wedding day in other ways than just being our photographer. He is the perfect photographer for your special day as well as an amazing person. Thank you a million times Dustin!

hem look spectacular. He had a seemingly innate ability to find the best locations for pictures and to make my wife and I comfortable at all times no matter what pictures were being taken. It was also really neat that we were a "second generation" wedding for him as my wife was a bridesmaid in a wedding that he photographed a few years prior. Overall, our experience with Dustin was incredible and I could not have been more thankful for the work that he did for my wedding.

The candid photos he took of our wedding are so hauntingly beautiful. I will definitely cherish them forever. We are beyond happy that we chose Dustin to be our photographer.

apture the day so perfectly, it's like we get to re-live it by looking through the photos. He had a great mix of artistic shots, heartfelt moments, and hilarious ones from throughout the day and night. Not only were the photos incredible, but he was also very professional throughout the whole process and so much fun to work with! We even got the pictures back just 2 weeks after the wedding. Overall we could not be happier and I would HIGHLY recommend Dustin as a photographer for a wedding or any event, he is clearly very talented and passionate about photography. Thank you so much for preserving these memories for us that will last a lifetime!

earching for our photographer, we wanted to be sure we choose someone who felt so much more like a friend than a vendor and we could trust to capture our once in a lifetime moments. Upon meeting Dustin at the Lesner Inn open house, we knew he was our guy. Our wedding planning journey with Dustin Lewis began in January of 2019 for our originally scheduled May 2020 wedding... of course COVID had other plans for us. Throughout each step of the process, Dustin was there to work through it with us - every phone call, text message, meeting over a few brews and countless emails announcing new 2020 wedding changes - he was there for it, and invested in at all. Our wedding day was absolutely incredible, without a doubt thanks to Dustins help... the photo previews we have gotten are STUNNING!!! Like bridal magazine STUNNING. Our family and friends cannot stop talking about them.
But despite all of that, everyone keeps talking about how great he was and how seamlessly he blended into our bridal party. By the time Dustin arrived to my house on the wedding day, all of my bridesmaids had been in their robes, hair and makeup was running like clockwork, but after almost 2 years of ‘what if’ planning, it still wasn’t real to me. The moment Dustin walked in my front door, I started to cry... it all became real to me... he made it real for me. Dustin was the first vendor we booked and we could not be more thankful that he was there for all of our ups and downs. If you want a photographer whose as invested in your wedding as you are, hands down, you need to work with Dustin!

At our wedding, he worked with us through some last minute drama (which resulted in a changing schedule). He made us feel at ease about everything and captured some sweet moments that we will cherish forever. He did whatever was necessary to get the best picture! He is absolutely worth every penny!

n made our engagement session comfortable and fun for us. Dustin contacted us a week before our wedding to discuss the logistics of the wedding day and to ensure he knew which family/bridal party pictures we wanted to get. We really appreciated his professionalism and fun personality the day of the wedding. The pictures perfectly and beautifully captured our day, and we love that we get to relive the best day of our lives every time we look at them! Thanks Dustin!

o capture these wonderful memories for us. Besides his great skills and talent, he was also very professional, really nice, and had a good sense of humor which made us feel comfortable the whole time!
We had our engagement pictures taken at 3 different locations; a brewery, a restaurant, and at the beach. It was cool of him to let us do that, he made it such a fun day! When it was time to take the pictures at the beach though, the weather turned rainy and gloomy (this was around hurricane Matthew). Fortunately he allowed us to re-schedule that part for a different day where it was a lot sunnier and able to capture the sunset. We were so grateful for that, he made sure our pictures would turn out perfect!
On our wedding day, Dustin and his assistant, Dmitri did a fantastic job. Both captured every moment and detail from getting ready for the wedding until the sendoff. We got our pictures on our 1 month anniversary and were so thrilled with how they came out as well. We felt as if we were re-living each moment going through each one. It was the best day of our lives and these pictures proved it :)
We highly recommend hiring Dustin for any special occasion. He knows what he's doing and he will do whatever it takes, (even laying on the shore and getting wet to get a perfect angle or skipping dinner to take pictures after a storm has gone) to get the perfect shot. He was also very fast in giving a "preview" of the pictures the day after they were taken. His prices/packages were affordable as well and worth every penny.
Thank you so much for everything, Dustin! You were so much fun to work with and made everything go smoothly and stress-free. We are so happy :)

Not only did he do a great job with the photos he was awesome to work with. He kept us laughing and made everyone feel very comfortable. We would highly recommend him for any photography occasion you may need!
Excellent. Wonderful. Fun. Talented. As great as these words are, they don’t come close to touching Dustin and his work. Dustin Lewis Images is exceptional and if he has your date ...
open – book him. You will be thankful every day that you did.
My Husband and I live in Tampa, Florida, but were married in Virginia Beach. We had never met Dustin, only reviewed his portfolio online – which we loved. His style really matched what we were looking for. We started planning about a year and a half out from our date – and lucky for us, he was still available! Dustin was so easy to communicate with – even four states away – we were constantly emailing and calling each other – he even Face Timed us so we could “meet”!
Not even 24 hours after our wedding, Dustin had 22 “sneak peak” photos for us. While looking at the photos, my Husband and I agreed that if these were the only photos that we received from Dustin, it was worth every penny. The images took our breath away. We are NOT models, but with Dustin’s talent, minor tips, and direction, everyone who looks at our pictures, says we look like we belong in a wedding magazine.
These are pictures we will have for the rest of our lives and pictures that we will share with our family, our children, and someday, our grandchildren. We keep saying that we had a “dream team” of vendors for our wedding, and that absolutely would not have been close to complete without Dustin Lewis Images.
We could not be more grateful for Dustin’s attention to detail, eye for beauty, and his love and passion for what he does – which shows through his work. We would happily, and easily, recommend Dustin Lewis Images for any event, any day of the year.
We love Dustin, our family is still talking about how much they love Dustin. It’s impossible to put a price on capturing the memories that you, your spouse, your family, and friends will have forever. Dustin Lewis Images made our wedding day pictures priceless.
Thank you Dustin!
As I was planning a wedding from out-of-town, it was especially important for me to find vendors who could be very accommodating. Well, I definitely found this and more with Dustin...
. With his packages, you have the option for an engagement photo shoot, which did not initially think we would do with him because we live 6 hours away. However, Dustin was able to come to us without charging for travel since we live close to his family. I am so glad he came up with this option- I didn't even think to ask! For our 3 hour engagement shoot, we had a blast shooting photos all over the city of Philadelphia. Dustin made sure we got all the photos and background we wanted as we went shot photos in about 4 locations. I'm so glad we did our engagement shoot with Dustin so my groom would be more comfortable with all the photos for our wedding.
For our wedding, I completely trusted Dustin's opinion and decisions about what to shoot and when to shoot. He made a suggestion that we move up one event planned during the reception because of the lighting, and from evidence of the photos- he was so right! He knows exactly what he is doing and really helped me wrap my brain around the timeline for the day. I can't say enough positive things about working with Dustin! His packages are a greatly value and we are so pleased with the end results. Thank you, Dustin! -Rachael & Mike

truly enjoys his job which shows in his amazing photos! He is extremely professional and the easiest person to work with. He listened to all of our requests and also provided great recommendations to make sure we had the perfect wedding! I’ll be the first to say that I am not a fan of taking pictures, but Dustin makes taking pictures FUN and enjoyable no matter what! From the engagement pictures to our wedding pictures it was just a fun time working along with Dustin. All of our pictures are amazing. He does a great job taking the traditional pictures but what blew us away were the action pictures that he was able to capture. Dustin is extremely creative and will do whatever it takes to make sure he captures the perfect pictures for his clients! If you are looking for the BEST photographer around and want to work with just a kind hearted person then Dustin is your guy! Thanks for capturing the best day of our lives and providing us with the memories that will last a lifetime! –Jimmy & Mak

ion, knowledge, and talent is displayed in his professional demeanor and his work. I shared concerns that my fiance (at the time) and I would create awkward images due to our inexperience of posing for photos. Dustin assured us he would give great direction and capture flawless moments. With his word, he followed through and managed to go beyond our expectations. Dustin honored requests I made and manifested everything I had hoped for out of a photographer. To put the cherry on top, we received our photos much sooner than I expected! My expectations were purely based off reviews I read about the turnaround time from other photographers. Our entire experience with Dustin Lewis Images was absolutely superb and we couldn't have asked for anything better.
Absolutely fantastic! Very creative and very patient! Really takes his time to make sure you get the pictures you want!

agement shoot twice due to rain and captured everything we were looking for. He was always quick to respond either phone, text or email. Our pictures turned out amazing and he was down right fun to work with. The best part about having Dustin as our photographer was he wasn't shy about telling us if something didn't look good, which is exactly what I wanted! I've already recommended him to friends and we know several other people who have used him and love his work just as much.
