Dr Sous' Custom Catering (aka The Chop Shop)

stomize out menu made the day feel more personal, and the food itself was out of this world! Our guests and bridal party couldn't stop raving about it. Thanks, Carrie and team for making our day so perfect! -Kara & Joe

ved the Chop Shop! They STILL talk about how delicious and unique it was. As locals who frequent the restaraunt we knew exactly what to expect, but we are always still so blown away by the environment, the staff and of course the food. We would recommend this venue and caterer for just about any occasion. They are so easy to work with and will blow your expectations out of the water!

inner on the second night. Our classmates gave rave reviews!!! All done for an affordable price. Hats off to Bill, Carrie and their entire crew for a delicious, professionally done presentation!

planner highly suggested them as well. With that being said After our first meeting (where we didn't even get to do a tasting) we both left feeling stunned and speechless (we honestly sat in the car for 5mins and didn't say anything to try and absorb what had just happened). We were told our price range was unacceptable and we were quoted 2xs higher than what our budget was. The professionalism was little to none. I was very disappointed not in the "over pricing" but more in how my fiancé and I were talked to and how the status of our wedding was handled. I hope we were a rare case and no other couples had to go through what we did.

ough, vague ideas and created a custom menu that was beyond anything we could have created on our own. She also helped with some of the logistical challenges that we faced during planning, and was always available to answer questions. On the day of the event, she brought a mobile kitchen to our kitchen-less venue, and created a truly fantastic meal. We loved everything we ate, and our guests of guests did as well. We received a lot of specific compliments about the food. I highly recommend Carrie and her staff for any event.

just about anything to make sure everything was how we wanted it to be. I would highly recommend Dr. Sous' Custom Catering

d everything organized perfectly. My husband and I definitely had an idea of what kind of food we wanted to have at our wedding and when that wasn't already one of the menus they had created, Carrie sat down with us to talk about our budget and our favorite foods. We couldn't have had a better place to cater our wedding! If we could go back and do it again, Dr. Sous' custom catering/The Chop Shop would still be at the top of our list!

ly what we like. Carrie is beyond amazing and went above and beyond for us and my mom (who she worked with a lot), she made sure everything was perfect and it truly was! We did a family style dinner which was so cool and we recieved SO many compliments on the food! Thank you so very much Carrie and everyone at Dr. Sous' Custom Catering! P.S. The Chop Shop is an amazing resturant and is a MUST!

asked for more. Carrie was easy to contact and got back to me with every question I had. Delicious food and so fresh!

ce of water. Yet they manage to pull off an amazing dinner using their truck. Carrie is wonderful to work with, she took my idea of a fall menu and ran with, she is very creative and works with you to stay within your budget. All of my guest raved about how great the food was and no one left hungry. The staff hired for the event were all extremely professional and made everything go off without a hitch. If your looking to hire a caterer definetly look in them, you will not be disappointed.

bq theme which they knocked out of the park and the highlight was a pulled pork nacho station later in the evening! Would use them again and again for any occasion!

rstand our vision of the type of food we wanted but she created an entire custom menu based around this vision, fitting with our theme as well as incorporating all of our favorite ingredients. We certainly did not want your typical wedding food and Dr. Sous’ was able to exceed our expectations and at an affordable cost! I could not have asked for anything better. Our guests are still talking about the food and have asked where the restaurant is located so they can visit for themselves. Would most definitely recommend and have to many!

rehearsal dinner food than the actual wedding dinner! They are so easy to work with, the food is delicious, and they are reasonably priced. You really can't go wrong!

r caterers have pre-fixed menus for you to choose from, Bill was the only caterer that sat my husband and I down and asked us what food we liked. From there, he built a custom menu based on our favorite foods! He can dress up your favorite foods and put an fancy flair on them. For example, my husband likes beer bread; I like filet. Bill created filet sliders on beer bread for a cocktail hour. There is no limit to the creativity Bill has when it comes to food and he can help you dream up the perfect menu! Not to mention, he is extremely reasonable when it comes to price. The only thing I caution future brides with is that Bill can be a little difficult to get a hold of sometimes. There were a few times were my emails went unanswered for weeks, but it was better towards the end when Des stepped in and handled all of the administrative tasks. When we met with Des/Bill in person all of our worries subsided. Overall, I'd highly recommend Dr. Sous Catering!!

completely custom menu based around exactly what we wanted and liked. The food was absolutely spectacular; our guests could not stop talking about how delicious everything was. Bill took care of everything-- displays, china and linen rentals, even putting our centerpieces, favors, and menus on the tables. We also wanted to serve the meal family style, and Bill was so excited to do this for us. He knew exactly the right amount of staff to hire and executed flawlessly (the staff even knew that the grandparents' table wouldn't be able to pass the large plates of food, so they served them individually). Everything was beautiful, delicious, and absolutely not typical wedding food. Above all that, Bill was also the least expensive caterer we interviewed.
