About this vendor
I am a Christian Pastor in downtown Santa Barbara & I've been happily married for over 34 years. I have been officiating weddings in Santa Barbara as well as destination sites since 1989. My priority is that you love your wedding! I will work with you to craft the perfect ceremony. If you don't love it, then I don't win & I don't get referred. I am currently on the preferred vendor list at San Ysidro Ranch, Four Seasons Biltmore, Bacara, Ojai Valley Inn, as well as many of the wineries in the Santa Ynez valley.
My clients have included many celebrity couples (too numerous to list here).
If you are looking for a dynamic but down to earth guy & a ceremony that's not too long or overly religious), please call or email me

Pastor Jon Ireland officiated our wedding and was everything we hoped for: genuine, funny, and personal. From the first conversation, he was incredibly kind and easy to talk to. He...
made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free, and he clearly laid out what to expect so there were no surprises.
What really stood out was how personal he made the ceremony. He took time to get to know us and delivered something that felt really true to who we are. It was the perfect mix of heartfelt and lighthearted. So many of our guests told us how much they loved the ceremony and how memorable it was.
We’re so grateful to have had him be such a big part of our day. I would absolutely recommend him to any of our friends or family looking for someone warm, thoughtful, and sincere to lead their wedding.

ery charismatic and kept everyone engaged throughout our ceremony. He related marriage back to his own experiences which added a personal touch and really made our ceremony extra special. I would highly recommend him for your wedding if he is available.

also married my sister in 2018. Our Family still raves about Jon's Ceremony and remember specific lovely tis bits from his Marriage Advice. Our Ceremony was the most special part of the entire day, all thanks to the help of Jon. He makes you feel calm and at ease during a highly emotional moment. Thank you Jon for giving us the Ceremony of our Dreams. You hold a special place in our hearts!

was bored at all. He did a great job personalizing the ceremony to our specific wishes. We loved him and the guests loved him! Couldn’t recommend him more for your event!
Dr. Jon Ireland was one of the best vendor decisions we made throughout our entire wedding process. My husband and I didn't have anyone we felt could marry the two of us, someone ...
we both had a relationship with that we felt could handle the job. We decided to go with someone we didn't know and could get to know together. Jon was recommended to us by the hotel where we were married. We met with him a couple times before our big day. Living in NY - he worked with us both over the phone and in person when he could. He gave us advice, suggestions and a rundown of past weddings he's done and how he could work with us. He was so kind and made us feel comfortable from the very start. He even suggested things we could do in our ceremony that we hadn't thought of that truly made it great. So many people have come up to us since our wedding and told us how special the ceremony was, the best ceremony they'd seen in a long time. When we look back on our wedding weekend we to, say the same thing. It was so incredibly special. We can not say enough great things about Jon, he was really amazing and we're so happy with our decision to work with him.

esses involved in getting married in the US, but also provided us with heartfelt genuine marriage advise along the way. Our ceremony was light-hearted, fun and memorable - just the way we wanted it. Jon also shared readings with us beforehand which were really helpful and was cool, calm and professional the entire way. Neither of us are Christian and we were slightly weary about using a pastor, but Jon was amazing and encouraged us to let our own religions shine through the ceremony. Thank you Jon!
Jon Ireland was an amazing officiant for our wedding. My husband didn't grow up going to church but I did. He did a wonderful job of blending what was important to both of us and g...
iving us a very personalized service. I didn't know it at the time but choosing him was our most important decision. In the end the actual ceremony is what matters the most and he delivered. He did an amazing job at getting to know us well and pulling from our story to create a beautiful ceremony. Jon was very professional but also fun. He got to know our entire bridal party and all liked him. Doesn't hurt that he looks great in the pictures as well.
We are forever grateful to Jon Ireland for helping make our wedding dreams come true. He is an A+ wedding officiant--extraordinarily competent, dynamic, caring and trustworthy.
