We cannot say enough amazing things about Downbeat Agency and their band, Soultones! We had the full band perform at our wedding in Temecula on September 26, 2026, and they were absolutely incredible. Downbeat Agency was extremely easy to work with, professional, and booked Soultones for us. It was, without a doubt, the most fun we have ever had—and we aren't just saying that because it was our wedding. If you are hosting a wedding or any type of event, you HAVE to use the band, Soultones. From the moment they started playing, our guests, me, and my wife were completely blown away by their raw talent, energy, and ability to keep the entire dance floor alive. Soultones were not only masters at playing an incredible variety of songs and genres, but they also brought an unbelievable stage presence. They danced, interacted with the crowd, and kept the energy going all the way until our wedding ended at 11 PM. After dinner, there was essentially no stopping the dance floor. Our guests were singing, dancing, and having the absolute time of their lives the entire night. One of the things that impressed us most was how much effort they put into making the music personal to us. Before our wedding, we filled out a questionnaire detailing songs we wanted them to play. They learned the song we selected for our first dance, as well as our father/daughter and mother/son dance songs. They even learned several additional songs that we specifically requested. One of those requests was "Jigsaw Falling Into Place" by Radiohead. I honestly could not believe my ears—or my eyes—when they started playing it. They absolutely nailed it. That is not an easy song to play, in my opinion, and they performed it flawlessly. It was one of those moments where I just looked around and thought, "How are they actually playing this live right now?!" The entire band was unbelievably talented, professional, and entertaining. They didn't just play music at our wedding—they created an experience that we and our guests will never forget. We truly don't have enough words to describe how incredible our experience was with Downbeat Agency and Soultones. Every musical moment was executed flawlessly and tailored exactly to our taste. I was particularly detail-oriented (read: picky!) about certain song choices and transitions, and the team was incredibly accommodating and flexible. They made it easy to be as involved as I wanted to be and truly listened to all our requests. On the day of the wedding, AMFM blew everyone away. We’re still getting messages from guests saying it was more fun than Coachella! The talent, energy, and chemistry of the band were just on another level. The horn section even came onto the dance floor and jammed with our guests—it was like having a live concert at our wedding. The videos on the website honestly don’t do full justice to the level of talent every single member of the band has. ding was like a concert. They got on the floor with us, created a horns congo line, and even put the mic up to me to sing. I thought we were all going to be dancing on the band breaks with the DJ but everyone was so wiped out from the band that guests used the breaks as a chance to go to the bathroom and refill drinks. We had people say they don't remember the last time they danced sober, and even our venue coordinator said they had never seen that many people on the floor at a wedding. The band was attentive to what we wanted, did a beautiful job throughout the ceremony and cocktail hour and perfectly captured the vibe for each unique aspect of the day. They even learned a few special songs for us. The only thing I'm sad about is that I don't know when I will be able to hear them again. In short, amazing.

I even put in some example playlists I created specifically for them to reference, as well as important and meaningful songs my dad and husband had asked for. They sadly played none of them. Not even the 3 meaningful songs my family was looking forward to hearing. If they are unable to play the music based on their skillset, totally understandable. But there was no communication that there were any issues. They are too good and too expensive to just completely ignore a questionnaire they send out for their clients to fill out. If you want today's top 100, they absolutely crush it. If you want to hear a few other things than Bruno Mars putting his pinky finger to the moon, make sure you know they can pull that off before you hire them.

Downbeat was extremely professional to work with and even took custom requests. My wife and I met and lived in New Orleans, and we wanted a second line at our wedding in California. We worked with the band and the horn section, and they learned several second line songs just for our entrance music and paraded around with all of us! This was definitely a highlight of the night and everyone loved it. They also were very open to the songs we wanted on our playlist for the evening, as well as the DJ playlist for the afterparty. The string quartet for our ceremony played the music we requested and it sounded beautiful! It truly brought a special touch to our ceremony. We continue, even a month out, to get compliments about The A-List and how ridiculously talented they were. They brought so much energy and fun to the night and got people out on the dance floor that usually don't dance! I would recommend The A-List and Downbeat to anyone and wish we could have a second wedding just to hear them again!

because he didn't think it would be as "cool" but my parents both insisted we have a band - WE ARE SO HAPPY with the decision we made. AMFM got everyone on the dance floor from the moment the party started and they stayed through the end of the party. We literally still have wedding guests telling us "YOUR BAND WAS AMAZING" on the regular. On top of this, Diego and Joel were so easy to communicate with leading up to our big day. 10/10 would recommend them again and again.

quipment alone that they use retails for more than than charge. To those who don’t know anything about it, surely you can appreciate that their attention to quality is superior. This isn’t your “The Wedding Singer” type cover band, these are professional musicians coming together to put on a SHOW! The band stole the spotlight! My wife and I were totally fine with that since our wedding is really us, hosting dinner and dancing for our guests. It makes me want to renew my vows next year just to book them again. We got married 11/12/2022 and we’re still living that post wedding high. 100000% recommend Downbeat Agency! This is truly worth the investment.

Their song choices were perfect and everyone was out of their seats as soon as dinner was over. Working with downbeat was so easy and seamless. I can’t recommend them enough. We also finished the night with a silent disco with our DJ Joel and it was the perfect ending. You will not regret having them perform at your event!

- specifically the band- Soultones. Every single musician — from the ceremony musicians, to the cocktail hour pianist, to the DJ, MC, and especially the band, Soultones- was absolutely incredible. So many guests including my parents, closest friends, and family came up to me and said Soultones was the best band they had ever seen- not just wedding bad- “the best band.” Their voices are incredible, unbelievable musicians on the piano, sax, guitar etc., and they are so high energy and really get all the guests into it. Our dance floor was packed all night! Thank you again for everything- especially to Soultones- for making our reception so fun & unforgettable! ing about Downbeat— not only are they incredibly talented musicians, but they are amazing performers that interact with the crowd, read the vibe, and keep the energy high and the party going all night. They can play all the wedding classics without making them sound cheesy at all. Every single one of the artists was extremely talented. They are also a pleasure to work with behind the scenes and highly professional- the planning and prep was so easy and smooth and we could not have asked for a better experience. They were able to manage all of the ceremony, cocktail, DJ, MC-ing, and live band music for the day, as well as mic and sound equipment. We had many guests tell us afterwards it was the best wedding band they had ever heard. This is a totally worthwhile investment- cannot emphasize this enough!!!

to hire the A-List (full band plus string quartet) after watching some of their videos and loving the way they performed “Higher Love” by Whitney Houston. We had also seen videos on Downbeat’s Instagram and really liked how performers were able to not only put on a great show but also interact with and work the crowd. Even with high expectations, we were completely blown away on our wedding day. The entire band, vocalists, quartet, DJ were nothing short of amazing - their sound, energy and professionalism. We also really enjoyed their take on our first dance song, “Back at One” by Brian McKnight. (Side note: I don’t know if learning songs that you request is typical for all wedding musicians, but it was definitely a plus!) Our guests were all raving about how incredible the performers were. End to end our experience with Downbeat was fantastic. Diego and Joel, the executive and event directors were very nice and helped us understand how to bring our music vision to life - for example, we originally weren’t sure if we wanted the string quartet but are so glad we added them. They also ended up playing for our ceremony. Thank you so much Downbeat and the A-List! We would be truly honored to have you back for another life milestone.

I am not exaggerating when I say we were absolutely blown away by Collective NYC! We hired them for cocktail hour, reception, and after party DJ music and they were so incredible the entire day!
