We used DoubleTree by Hilton in Battle Creek, Michigan, for our wedding on October 3, 2026, and were overjoyed with our experience. Our previously booked venue informed us one mont...h before my daughter’s wedding that they were closing in one week. After frantically calling all possible venues in the Battle Creek area, good luck led us to Daniel, DoubleTree’s Social Sales Manager. Dan was a warm, friendly, caring client advisor who definitely put our needs first. I had assumed that the venue was only for large wedding receptions, but Dan helped us create a small, intimate wedding and reception for 25.
Our wedding and reception were held on the sixteenth floor, with a beautiful panoramic view of Battle Creek. Dan helped the wedding and reception flow, using tasteful partial dividers to separate the wedding and reception areas. There was also an adjoining sitting area for guests who arrived early. Dan also set up our character artist who drew caricatures of the guests adjacent to the reception. It was a pleasure working with Dan, who made us feel like his only clients. He worked with the hotel’s staff to help the reception run smoothly and ensured a sumptuous, bountiful buffet. My daughter and future son-in-law live out of state, and Dan made sure to include them in the decision options. Dan arranged for the couple to have two rooms for two days, so the bride and groom had a room to get ready for the wedding ceremony and spend their wedding night. Overall, we would definitely recommend DoubleTree by Hilton in Battle Creek.
