good job on the wedding day. I loved how he played some live music during dinner. So many of our guests were really impressed by us. & then he kept the dance floor hopping all night!! He did a great job keeping the energy flowing & playing all the requests. We got SO MANY compliments about him afterward. I would 10/10 recommend Tim/Dorsey Entertainment to anyone!! Thanks again Tim!!
I swear I heard something along the lines of "Where did you find this guy?!" or "We LOVE your DJ!" over a dozen times at our wedding reception. Tim Dorsey is absolutely FANTASTIC!

We first heard Tim DJ our friend's wedding two years ago, and since then we knew that we had to have him for ours. The most important thing to know about Tim is that not only does he select the perfect song for the moment, he also sings some songs live! Anything from Bruno Mars to Michael Jackson and he's got the mic. He also taught our guests The Wobble, which was a big hit for my parents and their friends.:) Later in the night he broke out the Limbo stick which was hilarious. The dance floor was full the whole night!
When we first talked to Tim before we booked him, we could tell that this guy knows what he's doing. He was relaxed and professional, and answered all of our questions. We were worried being in a big open reception space (Becket's in Oshkosh) that the sound quality might be hard to work with, but he reassured us that we'd be in good hands.
After booking, we got an online form to fill out which let us organize our song choices, "do not play" list, and top picks, along with names of important people, etc. We called a couple months ahead to go details, and we were set for the wedding!
If you’re looking for a DJ with a little something extra for your wedding, Tim at Dorsey Entertainment is the guy to go with.

rtainer. He sings (Piano Man is a must!) and dances like no other...and when I say sing, I mean his voice is truly phenomenal! Tim took the extra time to get to know us and our music preferences prior to our big day. He also made great suggestions about how to structure our reception timeline based on his previous experiences and the setup of our venue, which was very helpful. Our dance floor was full the entire night and our guests could not stop raving about him. My husband and I highly recommend Tim from Dorsey Entertainment for anyone in the greater Fox Valley Area looking for a fantastic entertainer!

venue literally kicked us off the dance floor!
But.... very poor communicator! Bad with answering emails and phone calls.
At least that is not a reflection of how they were once they arrived at the venue.
Tim Dorsey was the pianist and vocalist at our ceremony as well as the DJ at our reception and he was AMAZING! He sang so well that people didn't even realize it was his and not a ...
recording. He got out on the dance floor and taught some of our family dances and played with the kids at the reception. He made it really fun for us, as well as a night to remember. The real treat was listening to him sing the special songs we chose for during our ceremony... beautiful!
