Opting for a strong ensemble for a wedding is a bit risky as you are relying on musicians to read the room and execute music in an extraordinary manner (compared to a DJ or even a ...
singer/guitar player). The Dolce Ensemble did well for the most part, but when it really counted, they fell short. On our recessional song, they must not have been paying attention and our timing with walking out resulted in an awkward moment right in front of the altar. Ultimately we ended up walking out a few seconds later after they scrambled to start our recessional song. They also had to move locations which was unexpected at the last minute which resulted in a 30 minute break and having cocktail hour only be set up for 60 minutes, we didn’t really get our money’s worth.
For ceremony and cocktail hour we used Dolce Ensemble! They were amazing and played such a diverse set of songs from pop to classics. They set the tone for our wedding and just WOW...

I worked with Vilian when trying to organize a surprise propose to my girlfriend. Although it was a very cold night to be on an open rooftop, he was very understanding, punctual, ...
professional, and calm even when there was an unexpected glitch with my venue. I couldn't have asked for a better guitarist and person to work with! I'd recommend him anyday anytime.

. In addition, she was not only willing but also enthusiastic about arranging a special request song for us. After we chose our song list, Susan emailed to remind us that the piece we picked for our first dance would be difficult to waltz to and made suggestions for better pieces. Because of Susan's professionalism, we pulled off the first dance! Finally, everyone at our wedding reception loved Dolce and complimented them constantly. I highly recommend this group!

re happy to learn a new song for our recessional, and all our guests kept coming up to us to say how impressed they were with the musicians who were playing classical music before the ceremony before swapping to Metallica at cocktail hour.

The Dolce Ensemble was absolutely wonderful, and I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. I worked directly with Susan Leon, who is the sweetest woman. She was so friendly...
and helpful, and she actually played during our ceremony along with Sergey. Our only interaction with Susan was via e-mail and phone. We never met in person, so I was really relying on Susan to do her thing the day of the ceremony. I remember thinking as I walked down the aisle, "this music sounds awesome. It is perfect!" It was a bit non-traditional, and they played Adele's Make Me Feel Your Love. They also endured the heat! I highly recommend this group. Thank you Susan and Sergey!
