om the very beginning, she was professional, kind, and incredibly transparent about pricing and everything that was included. There were never any unexpected costs or surprises, which we truly appreciated. She offered so many delicious flavors to choose from, which made the process even more fun and allowed us to find options that were perfect for us and our guests. The cakes were not only beautiful and exactly what we envisioned, but they tasted absolutely delicious as well! Our guests loved them! She was always respectful of our contract and followed through with everything that was agreed upon. Throughout the entire process, she was kind, compassionate, patient, and understanding. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but she made the cake portion of the experience feel easy and reassuring. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making our celebrations special and making sure we were happy. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of our wedding shower and wedding day!

en free/celiac. It turned out wonderfully! No one got sick, and it truly didn’t taste gluten-free at all. It was delicious and something all of our guests could enjoy, even those who can fortunately eat gluten. The design was beautiful overall, and was exactly what I envisioned. However the colors were much more muted and not really what I was expected or had requested. I am willing to chalk that up to a miscommunication errors that come up when using a wedding planner as the main POC, not necessarily the fault of the vendor. While the flower colors weren’t exactly what we had envisioned, it still came together nicely and looked lovely on display. We’re very grateful for the care that went into making our cake and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a gluten-free wedding cake option!

We’re so grateful for your talent and care.

The cake was amazing, and we immediately felt at ease that she would make everything perfect. On the day of, Jesi setup everything beautifully and our guests LOVED the cake. to work with throughout the entire planning process, super professional, and so kind! I still remember having the sweetest conversation with her during our consultation/cake tasting. She let us try multiple flavors of both cake and icing that we were considering, and because we couldn’t pick just one, she offered to make us a different flavor for each tier of our cake. Not only was our cake absolutely beautiful, but my guests to this day still talk about how great the cake was. Five stars!

We had Jessi make our wedding cakes for our March 2024 wedding! Both of the cakes were delicious and our guests really enjoyed them. When we met with Jessi for our consultation, ...

she stated that she makes her couples a 1st anniversary cake. With that being said, we did not worry about saving our top tier. However, when our anniversary came around and when we tried to reach out via text and Instagram, we were ignored. Overall, we enjoyed our wedding cakes and our guest raved about them!

Response from Dolce Designs

Hi Lauren. It took me a while to figure out who you were when I saw this review because I ...

mostly communicated with your Mother in law Maria throughout the process and she is the one who booked me. I do not have an Instagram message from you but I did find a text from you and I apologize I did not reply right away because I needed to figure out who you were first (it’s also always best to reach me via email because I get a ton of texts and they sometimes get buried). However I also have a text from your mom in law Maria asking for your anniversary cake and I told her I could have it for you guys that weekend. So I’m not sure if maybe she did not communicate that to you guys but I was willing and able to make it for you that week. If you want to text me or email me I can show you the texts with her. I’m really sorry this happened and can still make you an anniversary cake if you’d like.

I highly recommend choosing her to make your wedding cake.

When I saw Jesi’s work on instagram and visited her website, I knew instantly that I wanted her to make our wedding cake. I didn’t try any other vendors for cakes because I did not...

have to. I was super happy with everything! Communicating with her was so easy from start to finish. She is professional, quick to respond, as well as kind and friendly! She is an incredibly talented soul. The cake was gorgeous and the taste was absolutely AMAZING - I think I ate 4 or more whole cupcakes in one sitting at my tasting lol…she makes delicious cookies and macarons as well. We requested a gluten free tier on our cake (since my now…husband is gluten intolerant - which was super important for us)! And she was awesome and understanding to do that for us! It tasted so good I couldn’t really tell a difference (two of the flavors were the same but one gluten free and one regular). Jesi is an extremely talented baker and was one of my favorite vendors to work with throughout my entire wedding planning process. We were extremely happy with our cookies, macarons, and wedding cake! From the communication, colors, display, all the way down to the taste, everything turned out perfect. She is fantastic! :)

e an amazing design, guiding us what each layer should look like and how they fit together as a whole. Our cake was a 4 tier cake: Vanilla with Lavender cream, Almond with Cookie Butter cream, Vanilla with Dulce de Leche cream, and Strawberry with Matcha Green Tea cream. We got our own topper and asked her to include it on the cake and to place fresh flowers from our florist. She listened to our requests and it came out better than we expected! Please do reach out to Jesi for a tasting as her cakes are certainly unique. What stood out the most was how her buttercreams did not have a gritty sugar texture and was not overwhelmingly sweet. We did many tastings around Houston, and hers was the best in flavors, taste, and price. We hope to reach out to her again for more celebrations in the future!
