I grew up tagging along with my dad as he DJ'd events all over Idaho. I played my first solo dance in the seventh grade and would DJ parties for friends all through high school. It only made sense for me to keep that going as an adult. I love music and how it can drive a mood and set the tone for an event. I am always looking for new music to keep the party going.

He was calm as he worked his way through the MC portion of our wedding, he was funny, and he was all around professional. I really enjoyed Dan, he made our wedding move smoothly throughout the entire night. He asked for what we were envisioning and absolutely exceeded our expectations. One of my most ...

favorite things that he did was that when he excused tables for dinner he went to each table to try and get to know our guests a little more and find out a little bit more about us in the process. He made it fun, smooth and honestly as stress free as a wedding day could be!

We had an exceptional experience with DLR. Things we greatly appreciated in DJ Dan: His attention to detail, getting to know guests and bridal party, the addition of wedding lore, ...

his willingness to pivot when something changed, his direction/adherence to the itinerary and MC skills, his openness to a non-traditional wedding playlist, his humor and ability to read the room. Dan was organized, on time and great to work with. Would highly recommend.

rfect. He took the time to do a few calls with us before the wedding to go over our song list and to talk about what genres we like what genres we did and didn’t want played. He kept the vibes UP the entire wedding and the dance floor was popping! It was definitely the best part of the night. And for parts of the wedding we didn’t really have specific songs for like the bouquet toss and garter toss he swept in with some GREAT suggestions that were perfect. He was also able to go with the flow and change things on the fly when our timeline got a bit messed up because let’s be honest nothing ever goes to plan on the day of which made it so easy and stress free for me and my now husband! We truly couldn’t have done the day without him. Our friends and family kept coming up to us and telling us how great our DJ was and how amazing the wedding was. We couldn’t recommend him enough! He is an amazing person and a wicked awesome DJ!!!!

Tenny H

Dan played our son’s wedding. He was punctual, sensitive to the needs of our guests and the crowd, and kept our event running smoothly. He supplied us with excellent variations of...

music and emcee services, and all of his equipment is high end. Dan worked with our son and his bride, to include their special requests. He accommodated an entirely separate speaker system for the outdoor ceremony, and had a big system for the pavilion and dance floor. He even purchased an extra microphone to make sure that their vision was completed to their specific requests. Dan was flexible, timely, and brought a fun energy to our event. I only wish we would have requested his services for longer, because the music was so fun!

Response from DLR Music

Thank you Tenny! It was one of a beautiful evening and a great wedding.
