Sonja met my wife and I at a random wedding event in Hood River, OR when we were first booking vendors and we were newly engaged. She saw us looking so nervous and instantly made an effort to congratulate us and made us feel seen—after that we knew she was the DJ for us. With shared values and understanding of what we both wanted our wedding to look like, she captured that and then some. She made sure to keep the dance floor rocking all night while also being allowed to express herself and share her music with our guests. She put in some special touches that just made it personal to us. Sonja was amazing and I can’t wait to continue to follow her in her journey!
Working with Sonja was a dream. She was the best MC, the guests loved her, and she has an amazing DJ skill set. She really created a fun experience for our guests. Furthermore, she went above and beyond to make sure she understood our notes and would clarify any confusing items in order to achieve or dreams.

From electronic, hip hop, and Latin beats to funky classics from the ‘60s-‘90s, jazz, reggae, and more—we’ve got the jams that’ll keep the party alive. Sonja was born and raised in La. Growing up in the LA area she was inspired by street dance culture and had a passion for music. She has always been a music hunter and hand selects specific tracks for the listeners at each event. Her sets are formulated not just to keep the party going, But to create a unique sound experience for your event.
Sonja's favorites genre is Electronic, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Jazz, 60, 70s, 80s, 90s, and World Music. So whether it's classic tracks or future sounds, she has an eclectic arsenal of sounds for any occasion.
