Services Offered
DJ Tommy has performed at all of the most popular venues across Southern California and has an adaptable, streamlined setup that will provide sound coverage for as many areas as your event will take place.
Organizing your music selections is a breeze with his thorough planning resources. Before going solo, he worked in project management and spent years as a fulltime jack of all trades within some of the top wedding DJ collectives in LA. He offers the expertise of larger companies, but with an unmatched level of focused attention. You'll work with him and only him, ensuring your vision is exactly as you discussed from start to finish.
Beyond music and hosting, he offers uplighting to enhance the ambiance of your venue, or sound reactive dance lights with moving heads if you're looking for a more club-like feel.
If you're looking to split the difference between a DJ and live band, he can also pair up with a sax player for a hybrid twist that will be unforgettable–an absolute blast.
If you won't be hiring a videographer, but would still like to have a master recording of your ceremony, vows, toasts, and speeches, he offers professional audio recording services.
And finally, if you have an extra special vision in mind for your first dance (or any other planned dance), he can even cut together a one-of-a-kind edit so that you can practice your steps and dazzle your guests.
He doesn't do it all, but he can do a lot.

He was extremely organized throughout the whole process - from providing us with a detailed questionnaire to his day of timeline - Tommy did not miss one single detail. He put us both at ease knowing that everything music/MC wise would be taken care of. He is very professional while also bringing the light and fun! We absolutely LOVED working with him.
One the day of Tommy - there was no detail that was missed and he kept the dance floor absolutely popping. We had tons of guests tell us after our wedding that the dance floor and music was insane - this is all thanks to Tommy. We will 10000% use him at our next event.

He paid close attention to the energy in the room, adjusting the music naturally so the celebration never lost its momentum. You could tell how much he cared about creating the kind of night the couple had envisioned.
Behind the scenes, Tommy is as wonderful to work with. I appreciate working with vendors who make everyone's job easier and more fun. Happily recommend Tommy to any couple looking for a DJ who knows how to bring people together.

g our big gay vision. His planning process/document was super detailed and helped my now husband and I sort through a bunch of playlists that we spent YEARS making. On the big day, Tommy struck the perfect balance of professionalism, warmth, and fun. He knew exactly how to take charge of our very distractable guests and when to let the night flow naturally. Once dancing started, we never left the dance floor, which was exactly what we wanted. He even gagged us with an INSANE BRITNEY MASHUP! We’ve gotten so many compliments from our guests about how amazing the music and energy were, and we couldn’t agree more. Tommy exceeded every expectation and truly helped make our celebration unforgettable. Get him while you can... I already booked him for my 40th birthday next year!!

est made a point to tell us how good the music was and our dance floor was packed the whole night. Not only that, he kept the flow of the day and even snuck in a surprise flash mob without me knowing it. I could not recommend him more if you want a seamless and fun wedding reception! You won’t regret hiring Tommy to do any type of party. 10/10 would book him again!

o our ideas and was very detailed about understanding our taste in music and song ideas, but he also had suggestions and playlists of his own as options. He even spliced together a few songs into a medley for us for our first dance! Tommy was so thorough and professional and enthusiastic that we never worried for a single second about how the night would go, and we were right because the night of went perfectly. Everything ran smoothly, and we got SO MANY compliments from our guests on the music. We could not recommend Tommy more!

ic, we had some highly specific areas of request that he easily fulfilled, and then when we had gaps to fill he knew exactly how to bridge them seamlessly. He comes prepared with enough equipment and knows how it should all be used best. Best of all, he's just a great person in general, so you'll get along while you work together to craft your perfect wedding vibe.

ngers such as Lindsay Lohan's "Rumors" - you are gonna love what DJ Tommy spins for the party. My fiance and I grew up in the 90s and went to middle school/HS in the early 2000s and we wanted to feel like we were back at our high school prom. Simultaneously, my family is Brazilian, so it was important for us to have some Latin influence throughout the night. During our calls with Tommy, we felt like he actively listened to our thoughts and vision on how we wanted the whole night to sound and he executed it all perfectly. There were even a few moments/activities which required music that we did not predetermine and he was great with choosing something on his own accord that totally fit the vibe and theme of our wedding. We also appreciate that he worked very seamlessly with our MC ! Would recommend him over and over again, our dance floor was on fire the whole night & he was so fun to have a part of our vendor team !

d throughout. When you’re planning a wedding and feel like you’re constantly the one to reach out - getting a break is kind of a relief. He also gave us the time and space to work through all the details of the wedding together. Everything matched Tommy’s vibe: prepared, enthusiastic, fun, but also calm. His planning document is immaculate and thorough - you can tell he’s put a lot of thought into it! It goes through the flow of the wedding as a whole and the vibe of each different portion. He also provides different playlists to choose from if you don’t already have your own. Then on the day-of everything went so smoothly! Tommy was our MC as well as DJ, and did a phenomenal job. He knows how to read the room and would adjust the music accordingly. We didn’t want the music to overpower the whole evening, and he struck the perfect balance. All in all, DJ Tommy was a delight to work with and we would highly recommend him!

ith setup, cleanup, and coordinating with the venue. Tommy had a great presence as MC through the whole reception. We are two musicians ourselves and had high standards for a DJ, and Tommy hit a home run. You won't find a better DJ in the LA area! Thank you Tommy!!!

d us to have the best event possible. He listened to us and gave us exactly what we wanted and more! He was organized and prompt and made every part of the wedding fun. Plus he is genuinely a great guy. If you’re looking for a DJ in the southern CA region, look no farther than DJ Tommy!
Tommy was a consummate professional, a joy to work with, and an all around great guy. His Music Planning Document (an in-depth and thoughtful questionnaire) was an excellent way of...
getting all our dos and don'ts down in writing, as well as giving him a sense of exactly what we wanted (which he matched to a t!). Our guests had a blast, the song selection catered to our interests as well as theirs - excellent dance-able hits and oldies at the top of the night for the entire wedding, and some more modern bops as the evening went along. A DJ is such an integral part of the wedding day, and with Tommy, you can set your worries aside and let the master run the show! We cannot recommend him highly enough.

ophe Last name.
We knew he was the one from our first meeting. Tommy was immediately generous with his time and expertise. He was super communicative and organized throughout the entire process: we loved his pre-wedding planning document that helped us give direction on what types of "vibes" we wanted for each part of the night. That way we could have a say in how the music *felt* throughout the evening, without having to put too much thought into the playlist or prescribe specific songs.
He was also an excellent MC: spoke when he needed to to help direct the flow of the night, without hogging the mike and making himself the star of the show like we see other DJs do at many other weddings. He facilitated the PERFECT transition from parent dances to guest dancing time: because of his orchestration and fantastic DJing, our dance floor was stuffed the entire night. Our guests still talk about how great the dancing was, and we contribute that all to DJ Tommy.
He also became the Father of the Bride's best friend when he helped coordinate the sweetest moment during my dad's speech: my dad wanted to surprise us with a song woven into his speech. Tommy worked with my dad a few weeks before, and on the day, executed the surprise perfectly.
We could go on and on. TLDR; Hire DJ Tommy! You won't regret it.
We love you Tommy O'!
