About this vendor
DJ Jack Farmer is a wedding DJ company based out of Redondo Beach, CA.
Who doesn't love a good party?
The best moments are when everyone is dancing, singing along, and having the time of their lives. As a DJ, I create those legendary moments for you and your guests.
I moved to California and picked up a part-time job at a DJ management company to earn extra cash. I fell in love with the business. I worked in the warehouse, handling bookings and training DJs, and, of course, I would spend my weekends DJing myself! Now, I run my own company and love every second of it!
While DJing, I love seeing those moments—the moments when a dance floor erupts to the hottest new song or when a group of friends shouts along to an old favorite. I'm all about playing the songs that work for the group in front of me, and I would love to have the chance to bring the beats to your big day.

ntly and read the crowd so well! He is super genuine, collaborative, and energetic! Bringing all the energy, hype, and best vibes on our special day!

ht. Our wedding planner summed it up perfectly: "I would trust Jack with my life," and also commented she would also hire him for her own wedding. Well, that was more than enough endorsement for us, and we certainly made the right choice. Jack is so thoughtful and made the music planning part of wedding planning so simple. He is well versed in all types of music and even offers suggestions for for every single moment you need music for and already has playlists ready for all the background music you will ever need (which let me tell you may have been the most helpful part!) Jack is so flexible with scheduling and staying on top of last minute changes (which we had a lot of!). Stop your search here and hire Jack for all and any of your DJ needs!!!
I literally made an account just to write my own review (See Natalie Y's)
My wife and I met Jack when he was DJing/Emceeing several of our friends' weddings the past two years. Gr...
anted, I was drunk by the time he was playing music 😂 but I remember having lots of fun and commenting on how I enjoyed the music as well as his emceeing skills.
From our friends' recommendations and experience as a wedding guest, we decided to have Jack MC/DJ our wedding.
Pre-wedding: Jack has a robust list of song recommendations that went well for different parts of a wedding, suitable for all backgrounds/music tastes. If we didn't have a song in mind (processional, recessional, first dance, mother-son dance, etc...), we referred to his list. He has great attention to detail and you can tell he is well-versed and can point out things you'd never even think of. For example, he made sure he pronounced our families' names correctly.
He took his time to explain what are typical things to expect and for us to consider as a couple. He was also very flexible in helping us find specific songs that we wanted for certain parts of the wedding. He's super patient/understanding when we couldn't decide on some songs for key moments until 2 weeks before the wedding!
Jack did his due diligence and went to the venue that he's never been at beforehand to double check the area and reached out to communicate with the venue so things would go smoothly. This is of course, expected, but so many things can go wrong at a wedding (from hardware issues to logistics) and we just felt in good hands as he communicated with us as necessary.
During wedding: As expected, he was a great MC. Everything was well-timed and music changes were on point from walking down the aisle to the dance floor. He was great at hyping up our bridal/groom party and us for our grand entrance. It felt like a coach firing up his players for the championship game. He's also great at doing games. We did the shoe game and it was a perfect mixture of easy, hilarious, and heart-warming questions that he had ready. After dinner, people went over to the dance floor and the energy was immaculate.
Tips for soon to be newly-weds:
-Reach out to Jack early once you confirm the venue date! Our wedding was November 1, 2025 and we finalized everything with him in February 2025. Earlier is better.
-If you're not sure what songs you want to play for certain moments, be vocal about it and he'll be happy to give you recommendations!
-Make a list of unique activities/announcements you want Jack to make for your guests! There were one or two things we totally forgot to ask Jack to announce even when he double checked with us (for example, letting guests be aware they can record a video message with an Insta360 Cam we had during cocktail hour/reception). To no fault of his, we got overwhelmed with planning, so we overlooked considering that. If you have unique activities/things planned for your guests that are outside of typical wedding announcements (shout-out to families, cake cutting, etc...), then it'll help him and your guests very much.
-If your guests are the rowdy type and you want them seated during key moments like games, first dance, etc..., you can ask Jack to announce that the bar will temporarily be closed. He'd be happy to do that or work with your coordinator to do so.
-Make sure you have a consistent timeline of events between your planner, day-of-coordinator, and Jack. This is non-negotiable.

I am a total worry wart and Jack did his best to calm my wedding jitters. I had such a hard time picking out particular songs and Jack was so patient, gave me such wonderful suggestions and made it so easy and our wedding such a smooth process. Three of our other friends have recommended him to us and he has been the life of the party at every wedding we've been to. We are so grateful for him and would recommend him to anyone.

DJ Jack Farmer was the best hype man I could have asked for at my wedding this past Friday 10/6/23. My husband and I aren’t the most extraverted people and really wanted someone to...
get people to the dance floor. He gave us the past grand entrance that hyped up the crowed just like you’d image at a boxing match. It was so much fun! Not only that, prior to the wedding we had many calls going over song options and he replied to emails really quickly. Also, he made sure my husband and I was on the dance floor whenever one of our requested songs were played while also playing music for our first look even prior to the wedding itself. Overall, he was amazing at our wedding and if I throw another event again in the future, he’d be our go to.

ast month. Jack spent a lot of time getting to know us and our music tastes ahead of time. After being to plenty of weddings ourselves, we know the DJ can make or break the night and we are so glad we trusted Jack. He played incredible music, kept the vibes high and was a great MC. My husband's family is from Mexico and Jack did a great job playing popular, danceable Spanish tunes. We'd recommend Jack in a heartbeat and cannot thank him enough for keeping our dancefloor packed all night!

onto the dance floor without any liquid courage. Jack fired up the crowd and gave them the courage they needed through his charismatic personality and perfectly curated playlist and my husband and I, all our families and our friends danced together the whole night. Jack did an excellent job at listening to what we wanted and executing it flawlessly. He made us feel like the only couple he was working with, yet clearly demonstrated his years of experience. Throughout our time working with Jack he was professional, reliable, and kind to us and our family members and maybe most importantly - knew how to read the room and make adjustments as needed. We highly recommend Jack for any event you want to be professionally run while having fun and we are so grateful he was part of our special day! Book him!

him as well. He did an AMAZING job hyping up our crowd and getting people on the dancefloor! All my guests had an amazing time and loved all of his music choices. Even working up to the wedding, he was very well detailed and checked in with us to ensure that our wedding day would run smoothly. We even had check-in meetings to go over the wedding timeline and music preferences. I really appreciated his attention to detail, he even checked to ensure that he was properly pronouncing all the names of the people in the wedding party. Overall, he was really professional and did an amazing job! He even wore a super cute tie with headphones on it; IT EVEN MATCHED HIS SUIT! Jack is definitely the best DJ/MC, I will 100000% recommend him to EVERYONE I know!

Jack's music selection was fantastic and he really knew how to get the crowd on their feet and dancing. He seamlessly transitioned between songs and made sure that the music matched the mood and energy of the room. He also took requests from our guests and made sure to play a mix of old and new songs to keep everyone happy.
As an MC, Jack was fantastic. He kept the flow of the reception moving smoothly and made sure to keep everyone informed and engaged. He had a great sense of humor and was able to make announcements and introductions in a way that was both professional and entertaining.
Throughout the entire process, Jack was extremely professional and easy to work with. He was very responsive to our requests and made sure to listen to our vision for the wedding reception. He was also very accommodating and worked with us to make sure that everything was exactly how we wanted it.
I highly recommend Jack as a wedding DJ and MC. He is truly talented at what he does and will go above and beyond to make sure that your wedding is a memorable and enjoyable event.

ground music to individual song choices for key moments, as well as the reception playlist. We had so many guests compliment the music throughout the night and afterward and people were on the dance floor the entire night. My husband and I couldn't have asked for more. ty!
We had the privilege of meeting and seeing DJ Jack perform at a wedding back in 2018. Nearly 3 years later and we knew he was our DJ. You could only imagine our elation when we reached out to him and he was available for our day! Jack is a warm and inviting person. It wasn't but moments after speaking with him that we were laughing and felt like we were hanging out with an old friend. His ability to read a room and adjust the song selection or style is matched by none and his skill in blending different eras and genres were near seamless. He was able to keep a room full of people aged 10-92 dancing, reminiscing, and engaged the whole night through which is exactly what we wanted.
A DJ can make or break an event. In a world where everyday is chock full of decisions both big and small, finding that perfect DJ can be the most difficult especially when you don't get to see or hear their work so you have to rely on word of mouth or reviews such as this. So, I hope you find comfort knowing that DJ Jack Farmer is the one and only DJ you need!
Jack, we cannot thank you enough for your dedication to your craft, your expertise and guidance with the musical selections, your input with the up lighting, and for making our day feel just as important to you as it was to us! Thank you so much for everything!

He knows how to get the crowd going and keep everyone on the dance floor. We heard him hyping up the crowd for our grand entrance and it was just amazing. Every one of our vendors knew who he was, which I think speaks for itself. Highly recommend hiring Jack for your DJ needs, SO glad we booked him!!

hen we did our planning session he gave us great tips and we ended up changing a couple of things due to his recommendation, and everything turned out amazing. In addition to being organized and professional, he is also an extremely good hype man! He reads the room so well and the music was always perfect and appropriate. Our family and friends loved him, our bridal party raved about him, and we could not have asked for anything more. I would absolutely recommend him!

truly impressed us and all of our guests. Honestly, one of the aspects of our wedding our guests bring up the most was how amazing our DJ was and how it made the reception so much fun! He pumped up our wedding party before we made our entrances to the reception. He also recommended we bring everyone out to the dance floor initially after our entrance for a short dance set which initially we were a little unsure about but that was one of the best recommendations! Everyone was out on the dance floor from the start of the reception which broke the ice for lots of dancing after dinner and made for such a memorable time. He was the best DJ for our wedding we every could have imagined! Also he is so thoughtful and remembered a song that was important to us and incorporated it as a surprise the end of the night which was such a sweet way to end the night for us.
Jack was HANDS DOWN the best DJ! I didn’t realize how much of an integral part a DJ would play in a wedding day so I am super glad we had Jack to guide us through. From the pre-pla...
nning and prep work we did on Zoom calls ahead of the big day to making sure our ceremony music/mic was perfect and audible, he did a flawless job. Jack even spent extra time pumping up the wedding party prior to the grand entrance and then did something after the grand entrance that everyone thought was so unique and SO FUN to kick off the night that MULTIPLE guests commented on to tell us how fun and unique it was! (I’ll let Jack share his crowd pumping, hype up secrets). Everyone was excited and ready to celebrate!! He picked the perfect tunes to carry the night and played many of our favorites that we had requested. He read the crowd and kept the dance floor packed. He also kept the flow moving throughout the night between speeches, cake cutting, etc. Jack is a TRUE entertainer and I’m so glad we had a professional, at his craft, on our team! Thanks Jack!!
Jack is AMAZING. I have to start by saying that I've worked with Jack professionally for years and he is one of the best DJs we work with. He is on the top of our vendor referrals ...
so when it came time to book for my own wedding, Jack was one of the first vendors we booked. He is always so thorough and made great suggestions. He listened to my and my partner's wants for song selections which was a challenge because we have opposite taste in music. Meeting with him was super personal even through the pandemic. On the day of the event, he showed up on time and really brought the energy. His MC'ing was great and he kept all the events flowing on time. As for DJ'ing, he did a great job of mixing up the genre's of music to keep it fresh. I still have our guests telling us how packed the dance floor was all night. You will not be disappointed in booking Jack. If you're wondering if you should book, BOOK. You will not regret it.

er fun, easy-going, professional, and really listened to our needs for our wedding. About a month before the wedding, we met with him over Zoom to go over exactly what music would be playing for processional, recessional, grand entrance, etc. and he even provided playlists with ideas for parts of the night we weren't sure about yet. DJ Jack was super flexible and easy to get in contact with, so we were able to change songs and add must-play songs even last minute. Not only was he our DJ, but he was also the MC of our wedding, which was exactly what we needed since there were a few points in the night we needed special announcements made. DJ Jack knew how to read the room and really got the party started. Our guests were raving about the music during and afterwards. Guests will always remember music at a wedding, so go with the best and book DJ Jack!
Jack was the BEST DJ/MC for our wedding!! Everyone raved about him during and after the event. He knows exactly how to read the room and keep the energy going. Highly recommend him...
for any and all events :) Our guests wanted to keep going even after the venue was trying to shut us down!

es of music that appeals to a wide range of guests, and clearly communicated with us throughout the entire planning process. Moreover, he stuck with us throughout THREE iterations of our Joshua Tree wedding: (1) pre-COVID 19, (2) post-COVID 19, and (3) post-wildfire. Through all the adjustments, Jack remained flexible and helped ensure that our guests would feel welcome and safe. When the wildfire broke out and we had to significantly alter our wedding ceremony, Jack was available and willing to help save the day in any way he could. We are so grateful to have worked with him and cannot recommend him enough. When we have our anniversary dance party, he will no doubt be our first call.

dancing areas because no one would sit down! I would 100 million percent recommend Jack. He was so professional & so funny & so easy to work with. He was easily reachable & he lets you be as uninvolved or involved in the music selection process as you like. I gave him a few must play songs, but he took over the rest & man did he kill it! He was even nice enough to hold the microphone for my dad while hw was giving his speech so he could hold the paper with both hands because he was so nervous.. so sweet! He came into the bridal suite before the reception to explain how everything was going to work for the grand entrance & got everyone pumped up! All of our family & friends keep telling us our wedding was the best wedding they've ever been to & a lot of that is because of Jack! Thank you Jack for being a huge part of our big day! We will never forget it!

r wedding it's difficult to know what they're like. Jack came highly recommended by our coordinator who called him "the best hype man of all time," and she was right! We hired him based on all of his glowing reviews and how much we liked him after chatting over the phone, and are so glad that we did.
Jack took all of our input about music we like and don't like and kept the dance floor packed for the entire night. He's also an amazing MC which I think really kept the energy up throughout the whole reception. We'd have Jack DJ our wedding again in a heartbeat!

m the beginning into the late night. We first met at a Starbucks late at night many months prior showing his commitment to clients, and he delivered on every detail spoke about in the first meeting to a T. Jack brought the energy, fun, games, and everything you could possibly want in a wedding DJ. He was super prepared on every detail, transitions of events not only during the ceremony but the party were all seamless. I would and will recommend Jack to any event that has a DJ needed!
Thanks Jack!

and during the ceremony, to rallying the bridal party with hype vibes before the grand entrances, to playing my favorite jams a second time around when I requested them :D He was an absolute joy to work with. He was always very communicative and responsive with emails and phone calls which made for a stress free experience when planning. He let us direct exactly what music we wanted played, while also curating a perfect ensemble of genres to complement our specific jams. I could sing his praises all day. Put simply, if you want the perfect wedding DJ, Jack is the man.

f the wedding and makes it last through to the end. We met with him a few times before the wedding to discuss the details and music we wanted--it all turned out perfectly. Jack is easy to communicate with (always responds to emails promptly) and will make the day turn out exactly as you want. Whether you are looking for a throw back vibe, Top 100's, or somewhere in between, Jack will make it happen.
Use Jack. You won't regret it!

y did it - my aunts were dancing with the groomsmen, my dad (who doesn't dance) was dancing with the kids, my new husband and I were dancing with everyone! One of my aunts said she danced so much that her back pain was gone for days! It was so much fun - he really listens to the room and keeps everyone on their feet!
I'm so thankful that he is flexible and was able to go with the flow when my brother decided to play guitar for the ceremony the morning of the wedding. That could have been a big deal, but he worked with my brother and helped me have the most beautiful ceremony anyone could ask for.
On top of being the best DJ you could possibly hire, he was incredibly professional throughout the wedding planning process. I have planned huge events professionally before, and I've seen some real issues with DJs. Jack was quick to outline all of the ways he first avoids any issues and second would seamlessly correct anything that might happen. I have full confidence in Jack to DJ any party at all and can not recommend him strongly enough!!!
We honestly can't say enough good things about Jack! What a fun, extremely well prepared, kind, and outgoing human being (the most important qualities in a wedding DJ/emcee? Yes. D...
efinitely.). One thing I loved about Jack right away is that he charges a flat, all-inclusive fee which is truly a breath of fresh air when all other aspects of wedding planning can feel like an exercise in how much nickel-and-diming you're able to tolerate. Need a DJ for the ceremony and cocktail hour in addition to the reception? No problem. Are your ceremony and cocktail hour in one area and the reception in another meaning the DJ will need to bring two set-ups or move mid event? No problem. That's included. Did you pick an obscure first dance song that your DJ will have to download pre-wedding? Not to worry. You won't be getting an invoice for $1.75. It might just be because I'm a millennial but I really appreciated that approach. More importantly, Jack was super on top of things, had three meetings with us to be sure he knew exactly what we wanted and didn't want in terms of music, shared some amazing playlists with us to help us select songs for all the big moments, and is clearly super comfortable being in front of crowds and handling all those pesky announcements that need to be made during the wedding. Finally, we got COUNTLESS compliments from guests about how much they loved him. The dance floor was packed all night and Jack is phenomenal at reading the room and picking the perfect next jam to keep people on their feet. If you need a DJ for ANY event, let me strongly recommend you consider Jack - you won't regret it!

You will not have to think twice or have any doubts that your wedding will not be anything but the ultimate party with DJ Jack!

We had planning calls with him before hand where he went over the type of music we like (which was a bit all over the place between my husband and I) and let us make a playlist where we could add songs over the months before hand. Everyone (and I mean everyone) danced the entire night and it was all because of his great MC/DJing. I highly recommend him!

g a DJ for our wedding was a daunting task. I got his number from my wedding coordinator Jen with "KLINK events". The way he was able to guide the party was incredible. Far surpassed our expectations. Dj Jack Farmer is also such a handsome fellow!!! Very well dressed and kept the ladies on the dance floor. His level of professionalism is bar none. He communicated with us weekly regarding, needs, wants and song choice. He kept the time line in check so that the reception flowed. A huge thank you to the best DJ in Orange county!!!

d Jack kept the dance floor packed through the very last song of the night. Jack worked with us to create a timeline for our wedding, and executed everything seamlessly. Planning the wedding was stressful, at times, but Jack's thoughtfulness and professionalism made the process that much smoother. Thank you, Jack!
Jack was the ABSOLUTE BEST CHOICE for DJ for our wedding. Originally, I was nervous hiring a DJ because after attending so many weddings myself, the "music or dancing portion" of ...
the evenings has started to feel so cliche, forced, expected, and almost routine. However, with Jack, it was clear from the very beginning, he was most interested in getting to know us as a couple, our style, our interests in order to create a flow throughout the evening of music that felt authentic to us. He seamlessly incorporated our "special songs", read our guests and their responses to the different styles played, and adjusted accordingly. He was constantly working throughout the night, highly engaged and extremely perceptive/ in tune to us and our guests. Jack was also willing to adapt to making the night be what we wanted (even if it meant cutting out a lot of the more traditional pieces). Not only did my husband and I walk away saying we loved Jack's work, but our families and countless wedding guests also commented that this was the best music atmosphere they have ever experienced at a wedding. That's because Jack truly puts in the preparation and hard work and is just overall extremely connected to what he is doing and why he is doing it. I would without a doubt recommend Jack as a wedding DJ. Thank you for sharing your gift with us!!

To say he absolutely killed the playlist for our wedding-would be an understatement. He truly is the best and I would hire him without doubt for future events.
Jack is an exceptional DJ! From our first conversation to the last song played at my wedding reception, working with him was a fantastic experience. Jack has a great sense of what ...
your guests want to hear and will make sure everyone has an amazing time. He is professional, kind, positive, and will work with you if you have any specific requests. If you book Jack, you will NOT need to worry about your guests having fun...everyone will be dancing! I cannot thank him enough!!!
I was super particular as to what type of a DJ/MC I wanted for my wedding and Jack Farmer was everything and more! I had a good feeling about him from the moment we first talked. ...
He is professional and organized but can still put on a show! I had a vision for what I wanted the ceremony and reception to be like and Jack was able to provide feedback and direction. His energy and enthusiasm are infectious and he makes you feel like your event is the most important thing! We still have wedding guests telling us that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to. A huge part of that is in thanks to Jack Farmer. I wish we could do it all over again just so we could hang out with DJ Jack Farmer!
Let’s be honest....if you don’t have Jack Farmer as a DJ or Emcee for your wedding or event then it’s not a real party and people are probably going to leave early! You’re definite...

feel comfortable. What's more, he knows what he's doing. He's professional, open to feedback and set on making sure his clients are happy with his work.
All of that translates into being talented at his job, too, which is in part making sure that the to-be-married couple is having a wonderful time, as well keeping the party going for all guests.
With Jack at the lead of the mic and music, the party indeed did not stop once throughout our special day! Thank you so much, Jack.
We found Jack on a list of preferred vendors from our venue, Altadena Town and Country club. We pretty much wanted a huge dance party for our wedding. We were looking for an experi...
enced DJ that could play good music, keep our schedule on time and MC the reception. DJ Jack Farmer did not disappoint!
From the initial planning, song selection and MCing the event, Jack was very easy to work with and receptive to all our ideas and song choices. Hyping up a room full of 180+ guests, of all ages is not an easy task. But we were blown away by the way he fearlessly handled our grand entrance.
We are beyond happy we hired Jack Farmer to DJ our wedding. He even had my 89 year old grandma dancing to old school hip hop... and she has arthritis. Of all the wedding details to worry about, don’t let choosing a DJ be one of them. Hire DJ Jack Farmer, he’s worth every penny.
From the start, DJ Jack Farmer is a consummate professional. He's very detail-oriented with everything from the contracting process right up to the follow up. He was flexible about...
where and when to meet with us and very organized about keeping all of our details straight. We had several very challenging names in our bridal party and Jack was diligent about practicing them to make sure he got them all right.
But Jack is also friendly, personable and knows how to be the force behind a party. The night of our reception was a whirlwind but the dance floor was always full, and we got so many comments about how much everyone loved the music and dancing. Even my father-in-law who no one has ever seen dance was out on the floor!
I only hope we can have more excuses to throw parties like that one so we can bring DJ Jack Farmer back!
Jack was amazing to work with. So professional and on top of things. He clearly and carefully walks you through song selection then shows up on the day of ready to throw a great pa...
rty for your group. Our guests all commented about how great he was (and how sharply dressed too!). Thanks Jack for exceeding our expectations!
