DJ Dres

the planning process and was diligent on our wedding day to make sure that things were going exactly how we wanted. He was the first smiling face we saw on our wedding day, and the very last one when the event was over - always with a kind word, positive reassurance and a "it's your day - we're gonna have a great time" attitude! The ceremony music was beautiful and perfectly timed, he played a great selection or our requested songs and his own choices during the cocktail hour and dinner, he made sure he touched on all of our must play songs during dancing and he read the crowd so well, there was never a dull moment. My husband and I say all the time that we would've danced until the sun came up if that was an option at our venue, lol. Working for a wedding venue I see a lot of good DJs and even more bad ones, Dres is definitely one of the most amazing people to work with both personally and professionally. If you're not hiring Dres to be your event DJ, you're doing it wrong.

r feet litteraly the whole night.I remember reaching out to him wanting family members to feel the explosive rhythms of Miami with a little mix of everything in Massachusetts and he that and more. I highly recommend him to anyone . He will not disappoint trust me !

tes. I have been to weddings where it takes people a while to get to the dance floor, or most people from one or both sides sit down early on in the evening. This was not the case with him! People from both sides were out there right away, and the dance floor stayed lively until the end of our event! He asked us a long list of questions in advance to make sure he was prepared, and adapted quickly to changes in the evening. He checked with us at each stage of the evening, so when multiple people in our wedding party needed to leave early, he was not left announcing people that were no longer present. He also took requests in advance, and while he couldn’t play everything on the list (our list was long…), he adapted it into a seamless playlist with awesome mixes of our favorite songs - my favorite was a version of American Pie with an amazing beat drop. He had special lights that lit up in time with the music which were an extra cost, but well worth it. Lastly, one special thing he did for us was edit our first dance song to be a more reasonable length without sounding cut off. He did not even charge us for this. We cannot thank DJ Dres enough for a wonderful evening!

. DJ Dres is the only choice for a DJ if you're looking for the best master of ceremonies, purveyor of perfect playlists, expert mixologist of remixes, and OH MY GOD the uplights. Get the package with the uplights. We gave DJ Dres our preferred genres and he smashed it. He was extremely responsive and professional and cut our first dance the way that we wanted. He provided the right vibes for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and obviously, the reception which has been lauded as "One of the best I've been to!" by many guests. Everyone was happy, including Grandma who showed us like Waka Flocka she can "Do it with no hands." We are grateful, DJ Dres. You provided us with those memories and we THANK YOU!

for the crowd and ability to blend different cultures through music made our celebration truly special. Professional, passionate, and a joy to work with, DJ Dres is the go-to for a dance-filled, culturally diverse bash. Thank you for making our day amazing!

preparation, which he reviewed with us a week prior to the wedding. He had this on hand at the wedding and confirmed pronunciations of the wedding party with them to triple check he had it right. The music was exceptional. He was able to judge what would fit with our music taste based off a small playlist. His transitions were seamless and music flowed very easily. Our dancefloor was full the whole night and we have already referred him to one of our guests!

. And when the dance floor opened up, boy was it was an endless party; absolutely amazing choices and flow between songs! Would highly recommend for anyone looking to have the best time dancing!

as able to improvise around small snags and delays, which are unavoidable with events of this size! I'd recommend him to anyone for their wedding or large event!

roughout our wedding. He kept our dance floor packed and the party going all night long. He was also very easy to work with, very responsive to our many questions and he made the planning process super simple. I cannot recommend DJ Dres highly enough!

. He knew when to slow it down, pick it up or ride it out to the end. We are so happy we went with DJ Dres and would easily recommend him to anyone who is looking for a DJ with a finger on the dance floor pulse.

at had our dance floor packed the entire night. We had him cover our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and each one was absolutely perfect. 10/10 would recommend!

gs for him and he was able to put on an incredible set list. He even took recommendations and perfectly blended them in. I was told by many people (young and old) that they have never seen a wedding with more people up and dancing - also for the entire night. He provided uplighting (synced with the music), custom mashups as requested by us, reception walkout songs coordinated with voice-overs, ceremony music, and much more. Not only was he a great DJ, but also the best MC for the night. He kept the night moving along and was awesome for introductions. Do not get married unless DJ Dres is your DJ!!

trongly recommend him if you're looking for that Dj that will make your wedding/event a fun one!

ted. He has a in-depth form that you fill out prior to your meeting with him which is great because as things change he can adjust. He custom mixed our wedding song since we wanted two different ones and made sure none of our do not play list was played. He was also great to accommodate the partial live Band we wanted along with other types of music. And when his set came he was ON!!! He knows how to please the crowd and keep everyone on their feet. We didn’t want the night to end. My husband and I are seeing him again in December 2022 for my other cousins wedding. Can’t wait!

the entire time. We got so many comments on how great of a DJ we had. Prior to the wedding, Andres was super communicative and helpful. We would definitely recommend DJ Dres no question!

was our 4th family wedding he was the DJ for. He is professional, kind, responsive and knows exactly how to keep everyone on the dance floor and having a good time!!

ow much fun it was! In addition to being a master of his craft, he's also very professional, responsive, and patient (we did not provide much direction and had last minute changes). Simply, THE BEST!

commend anyone better than him.

lub, he listened and gave us exactly what we wanted! He played every song on our list and even surprised us with some awesome picks of his own that everyone loved. He accommodated some last minute changes for us too. He has an awesome online portal where you can edit your list up until the week of your wedding day. It was so easy and convenient to not have to call or email him, I was able to just make changes, add songs, remove songs, put in the bridal parties name & introduction songs, etc. If you are looking for a fun, upbeat DJ, DJDRES is your guy! He is incredibly warm and friendly and made our day even more exciting! His passion for the wedding industry is clear and easily noticed, he was having a great time doing what he loves! We are so happy we found Andres, our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without him!

ing to have our wedding in 2020 but then had to reschedule several times. Andres was great at working with us with picking new dates. For the wedding, he was able to deliver exactly what we wanted for the music. Everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend him. Thank you Andres

but he transitioned to each one seamlessly. He played all of the songs our friends and family were looking for. He’s also the most polite, respectful, and professional, yet really friendly wedding vendor we dealt with on our wedding day. Our wedding guests are still talking about how fun he made the party! We highly recommend Andre for any couples getting married soon!!

ings he had attended. From the moment we met Andres, he catered to our every need - asking questions about our family, our relationship, and how he could make our wedding day as special as possible. He provided us with everything we wanted: a DJ, MC, monogram services, and offered us uplighting - truly a one-stop shop that was always available to answer any question or concern. Andres was invested in getting to know us and followed through with all of our requests, which made the day so smooth and effortless. Our families are Jamaican and Colombian, and he ensured that our entire wedding was surrounded with Reggae, Latin (Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton), Hip-Hop and R&B music, etc. His excitement for music, MCing, and blending our cultures made a huge difference on how the day turned out. Before the wedding, he had us complete a form and scheduled a pre-meeting to ensure he knew exactly what we wanted, how we wanted the day to go, check timestamps and practice the names of everyone involved - every detail truly mattered to him. He also took the time to connect with our pastor weeks before the wedding to check in about audio and speaker needs, which we appreciated because we could take it off of our list and trusted both of them to work together. Once he arrived to the venue, he immediately connected with our bridal attendants and our photographer/videographer. By working together with others, everything was so seamless - we didn’t have to worry about a thing once we arrived at the venue. The ceremony and reception was amazing from beginning to end! He also came along with another great DJ from Boston (DJ Case), who was a great addition to the amazing vibes we had on our wedding day. Truly an amazing DJ and an even better person; you absolutely won’t regret choosing Andres for any of your events!!!

a great energy for the night. Everyone had a blast. We were blending cultures and different types of music and everyone was dancing the night away! He’s a gem and we would highly recommend him for your big day! 😀 Thank you so much Dj Dres!

y to keeping the dance vibes going for a crowd with diverse musical tastes (with true mixes-not just a playlist)- Our guests danced all night (amid a heat wave no less). A week later, they continue to complement his work- it's the element of the evening that received the most praise!

with us throughout the wedding planning process. A couple nights before our wedding we realized during a conference call with him, that we were going to have 3.5 hours of straight dancing time - his longest yet and he didn’t disappoint! Our dance floor was packed and everyone was up and moving the whole time. Multiple guests asked me for his information for their own future weddings! I would recommend him to anyone who wants their guests up and dancing!

arly part of our planning we decided against a DJ and thought we'd do an iPod or something low key where we could play the music we liked without adding to the budget. As our wedding numbers grew and we talked to more and more people, it became clear that we needed a DJ so that there'd be someone (who wasn't us) who could Emcee and gauge the vibe of the crowd, playing music accordingly. We hired Dres based on a recommendation from one of my bridesmaids who had seen him DJ before and raved about him and we are SO HAPPY WE DID! He listened to our feedback about what we liked and didn't like and then he made sure to round out our recommendations so that people enjoyed themselves and were on the dance floor all night. We honestly weren't expecting half of the people who stayed until the end of our wedding to actually stay, but after reflecting on the wedding and talking to people it was clear that Dres and the energy and fun he brought to our reception was the reason why. We saw people dancing that we never expected to and everyone had the BEST time including us. We've been to about a dozen weddings over the last two years and one of the things we noticed and disliked is that many of them just play the same old popular wedding songs and whatever is on the radio. We knew we didn't want that and communicated that to Dres and hoped for the best and he well exceeded our expectations. One of the things we were mildly concerned about after reading other reviews was that there were many people who said that he did a great job playing spanish and latin music. My husband is Irish and Scottish and my family is Irish and Jamaican so we weren't sure if that mattered. It absolutely didn't Dres ended up integrating some Jamaican/Reggae music without us even asking but made sure to mix in with other crowd pleasers seamlessly, We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends and family in the future and would absolutely work with him again if the opportunity arose! Thanks Dres!!

h and old/new songs that had everyone dancing and some of our more shy friends even SINGING OUT LOUD to them. Our wedding was small but he still knew how to play off the crowd and keep them going until the end of the night. He was also a great MC who know how to direct things and keep things running smoothly. I would DEFINATELY recommend him to family and friends!!

istened to our ideas and made them happen. He even helped serve as a coordinator--He helped keep us on a schedule, kept all our guests engaged and informed of what was happening as we had people sitting in 3 separate rooms. He kept the dance floor packed the entire night, knew the right songs to play and when--it was amazing!! Words can't completely describe how unbelievable he was in making our day perfect. We recommend DJ dres to anyone and everyone!

ic night. He knows how to read a crowd and how to play to all different kinds of culture. Our wedding was an italian/dominican wedding. Some of my family have two left feet, and he had those people dancing up a storm! I really loved how he used the phrase "join us on a musical journey' in his opening to our reception without me and my husband even having to tell him this. He just knew that the music was the central core to our big day. He is very organized in his data collection which helped guide our night in all the "to dos" of a wedding. I put little notes in our document for who I wanted to dedicate certain songs to, and funny things I wanted to be said throughout the night, and he hit the nail on the head. The best part is that we worked together (through email, phone, and in person) in organizing all of the normal traditions of a wedding so that we could have a solid 4.5 hours of dancing straight! He has some very cool song transitions that you would never think be mixed together. The dance floor was never empty, and he just knew how to keep everyone alive and jumping throughout the night. Not only is he still the Colombian Clubkiller (lol), but he is a multicultural game changer (crowd goes wild)... Great work!!! Thank you again for making out night so special and a night to remember for all! Your passion for music, integrating cultures, and positivity always shines through your work.

e. My husband is Puerto Rican and I am Dominican but we both grew up in the States so we listen to quite a variety of music. DJ Dres was able to cater to our mix of tastes and we all had a great time. He was also a great emcee and got the crowd going. I would highly recommend him!
