He immediately took the time to get to know us, our guests and what’s most important to us during the most special day of our lives. Admittedly, as much as he made it easy for us, we didn’t always make it easy for him. We changed venues, added additional entertainment and an impromptu dance with our parents. Our guests were a unique blend of Hispanic relatives and millennial aged friends of all backgrounds. David handled everything in stride and was able to really make sure every single person at our wedding had fun and never left the dance floor. We had him play a wide range of music that includes Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggaeton, Pop, Bachata and Merengue. Additionally, he played some me and my wife’s absolute favorite songs and incorporated certain personal shout outs to our guests as well. We still get tons of comments to this day on how fun our wedding was, and a lot of the credit goes to him. We are very fortunate to have found him during our wedding planning process and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding.

Day of, we could tell he listened to our key requests to build the core foundation while also adapting to the crowd. He even put together a playlist for our cocktail hour and set up a speaker in that area of the venue while setting up for the reception in another room.  He MC’d smoothly through various cultural traditions and worked with our live musicians to keep the dance floor packed through the end of the night. All of our guests kept saying how much fun they had, and we know David was a big part of that.  We also opted for his dance floor lighting upgrade which was perfect to shift the post-dinner atmosphere into a real party. He asked questions about our families and friends who will be at the wedding to ensure that he had the best music to play for the occasion. We had multiple meetings throughout the planning process and we were always so happy at how patient, kind, and excited DJ Medina seemed about the occasion. During the reception he also did an excellent job of MCing by keeping things simple and flowing. Our wedding was a Guyanese/Brazilian/American wedding, so needless to say we thought this would be a tall task as there are many types of music needed, but DJ Medina effortlessly mixed in all types of music on the wedding day to keep everyone on the dance floor for the entire night! We had multiple people mention that this was the most fun wedding that they had been to, and a huge part of that was because of the music. He also was incredibly accommodating by arriving early to play music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, while also staying late to DJ for our after party which we greatly appreciated! We were incredibly happy with our decision to work with DJ Medina for our wedding and he was absolutely the best choice for the occasion. To this day people are saying our wedding is the best wedding they've been to and we can't thank David enough for understanding the assignment.

He did an amazing job blending so many music genres to keep guests happy at our combined Indian and Jewish wedding. He deftly mixed oldies, bollywood, pop, rap/hip hop, bhangra music and more.
