We had such a wonderful experience with DJ Crashers! Saxon is a great person to work with -- very responsive, thorough, and adaptive. The package deals are also extremely affordable; we received full ceremony and reception DJ/Emcee services plus the photobooth for $1100! All of the music was tailored to our liking, and the playlists he made for dinner service and the dance floor were vibrant and well-paced -- only catch being that he does not play songs with explicatives (replaced with radio edits). This did not affect the overall vibe of the dance floor at all; everyone was out there dancing all night!

As for the DJ I can’t say much about the music selection throughout the night because 90% was my playlist. He claims to “keep the party going” but sat behind the booth most of the night. We felt very rushed during our first dances, especially with my husband since it was choreographed he started the song so fast we couldn’t get up there in time. He also came up to myself or my husband several times though out the night either wanting to change things or just ask us random things he could have asked our coordinator, which he has been at this venue before so he knows this. The thing that’s bothered me the most was when we were getting our professional pictures done- while he should have been handling cocktail hour, came to us and asked for a picture for social media during our professional pictures. This was very disruptive as this could have been done any other point in the night. Also he does request a seat for dinner with your guests at a table.

My husband and I eloped in Colorado last year and just had our reception in Michigan last weekend and Saxon from DJ Crashers was easy to work with for the short timeline we had. We were able to customize a 2 hour playlist for the cocktail hour and dinner time and Saxon had no problem downloading the majority of the songs we picked when they weren't already in his normal library, many Alternative/Electronic type songs. He kept the dance floor going all night and many of our guests commented on the great music selection, the venue staff even mentioned that we had a great DJ! Not going to lie, I was a little unsure how it was going to go at our reception after our final meeting with Saxon, but realized he's just passionate about doing what he does at these events and knows how to have a good time.
