but was changed last minute by DJ Connection saying they had to download music from not only our wedding but also the DJ's entire weekend bookings. This put the DJ getting to the venue at 5pm with guests arriving at the same time. He did get setup in a quick manner but this left no time to go through a walk down with the DJ, he only had the notes giving to him. They just really missed the mark. You could tell once the ceremony started that we just weren't in sync. Not sure we can blame the DJ as it appears it was his companies fault that put him 2 hours behind. I would give our DJ a 4 star review and 2 stars to DJ Connection

really nervous that it wouldn’t work but it did and everything went so smoothly! We had multiple things go wrong on your special day but I can honestly say Laurence made the night! He kept the party going the whole night which is exactly what we wanted! He even showed one of our cousins how to two step! It was an amazing time I can’t thank him enough for the best night! If I ever need a DJ I will be requesting him! DJ connection as a company was amazing! I have had a really hard time getting in contact with some of the vendors but DJ connection always got back to me right away and made the whole process a lot less stressful! If you are looking for a DJ this is the place to go!

What really surprised us was the attention that he paid to us - he would make sure we had drinks if our hands were empty or that we had eaten something if he hadn't seen that we had. He also was really great at pivoting when we decided to change things. We were SO thankful for our experience and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

edding beyond PERFECT! I want to get married again to just have Trelvis as our DJ! I am hoping to use Trelvis for future events we have! We are beyond thankful to have him as our DJ! It is a night we will never forget! Also, I was in my best friend's wedding who also hired DJ Connection for their wedding! They had the DJ, Dante! Dante was phenomenal and even played my first dance song from our wedding for us (which made me cry)! DJ Connection will always hold a special place in my heart, and I cannot wait to hire them for future events!

The actual wedding day I got exactly what I wanted. Before the wedding you talk with someone and go over song choices, what you want/expect and they then pick their DJ that best fits that view, so we didn’t get to meet the DJ before hand but they did a fantastic job in selecting someone who was a perfect fit for our wedding and what I wanted.

On the day of our wedding, we had DJ Juan and he was THE BEST!! He brought water out for my husband and I as we were taking picture outside before the ceremony and made sure we were doing okay throughout the evening. He did great with the music as well, especially considering we had a mix of American and Persian music. Our dance floor was full ALL NIGHT - we were shocked and so thankful! He created the perfect atmosphere for celebrating and dancing all night! Huge thank you to DJ Juan and the DJ Connection team for making our night unforgettable!

He was super nice and friendly and got our guests out on the dance floor with good music. He was even out there dancing with us sometimes. There were a few minor snafus with the wrong song being played but he apologized profusely and honestly it wasn’t a big deal at all. I’m glad I took the recommendation from my friend and I would recommend them for events too!

dn't know which Dj I would get on my wedding day, but they assured me that the Dj would do an amazing job, and that he would be versatile, since my wedding was multi-cultural, with people from different cultures. After doing my research, I found a DJ within their service, that I like, and requested him; they said I was all set to go. The day of my wedding, someone else show up, with little to no warning in advance, they sent another DJ that hadn't even gone through my playlist and the specific songs I wanted for the number of events that would take place. The DJ didn't know how to transition the music, and there was always a pause, which absolutely destroyed the atmosphere. I regret ever choosing this company, and I would love my money back, it was an utter waste of time. My guests began to leave before we even cut the cake. Save your Money and choose someone else. I would give this zero starts if possible.

that all DJs at their company have the same level of skill and professionalism. Our songs were confirmed by the planner DJ and our actual DJ. The grooms song was incorrect, the bridal party entrance song was incorrect, songs that were specified and confirmed were never played. The DJ would walk away for minutes at a time, hiding at the bar, and there would be 30-90 seconds of NO MUSIC PLAYING! The venue coordinators and photographers had to constantly track him down and keep him on schedule. He played tracks I specifically said no to. He did not adjust the volume to the mics during the speeches so none of it was heard by other guests or properly captured on video. This incompetent company ruined a day we had been waiting for over 3 years. Promises made but were not kept. After all of this, DJ Connection offered a $150 refund which came with a NON DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT. I spent of $1500 on the DJ without additional charges of a second set up (started moving this so early there was no music during cocktail hour). I’m sure others have had a great experience but take my advice and go for a credible stand alone DJ and not a large company like DJ connection.

The 14 day out planning call was super helpful and allowed us to all be on the same page with our coordinator. Day of: We had DJ Alejandro at our wedding and he ABSOLUTELY CRUSHED IT! My whole family was so happy with the song selection, the announcements, and attention to detail. He made my husband and I feel so special throughout the whole reception. All the guests had a wonderful time and he really got everyone on the dance floor. Would not change a thing! This company was on the more 'budget friendly' side compared to other DJs we looked into and I can say with confidence that none of our guests would know that based on the experience we had -- they really delivered for us.

ups. We asked for a mix of dance music of all styles; we asked for music of all genre, we got club music. Requests for completely ignored. Michael Jackson is not considered oldies dance music. Even when we were very specific in song choices, they were ignored. We had a “must play” list with specific songs, for goodness sake. The Bride and Groom spend hours on playlists and special requests. What happened to the Anniversary Dance block? He did get the music for bridal party entrance correct, but I think that was because the coordinator had to remind him. Totally missed the 60’s Oldies block, the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s block, country block. What DJ doesn’t play Uptown Funk? What happened to the mix of line dances that the Bride requested? How does a Wedding DJ not know Journey, Sweet Caroline and Happy? What Wedding DJ doesn’t play a few slow songs in the mix? We asked for specific artists: Michael Buble, Bryan Adams, Ed Sheeran---still waiting. For the money dance, he repeated one song three times when asked to “keep it going” instead of pulling out a few more slow songs. Most disappointing was the fact that the person we spent hours on the phone with was not the same person sent to our event. What was the point of getting to know us, our music styles and our requests if someone else shows up and plays one style of music? The DJ was very young and inexperienced. He did not talk, did not engage the crowd, did not respond to requests. He would need to shadow at several more events if he wants to do more weddings.

OMG, he was so great and everyone loved his energy and he read the crowd perfectly, because there were some delays, but, the dj kept the party rolling.

He was the best DJ , but he went above and beyond he interacted with my guests, took their last minute requests, came out and danced with us when we asked him to join us, and he kept checking on my husband and I to see if we needed drinks or anything and literally made our night magical. I can not believe he went out of his way for us to not lift one finger. And I danced all night long, I didn’t care who I danced with or how I danced. I love my DJ! Only wish I had his name!
