Amazing DJ!! We were so psyched to have him as our DJ, he was absolutely killing it! Not only did he include our requests, he connected songs SO well even if they were crowd requests! Everyone had an amazing time and made our wedding such a memorable experience. Thank you DJ Blakeley for announcing us like wrestlers during the grand entrance, and being so chill about everything! He even helped out with our other vendors when it came to additional lighting.

Managing sound across 3 different locations throughout the day could have been tricky, but Jordan handled every transition seamlessly. We had specific, non-traditional musical choices—including a minimum of 3 live hammer dulcimer songs that Jordan thought himself to play— he integrated everything into the sound setup flawlessly. The audio for our ceremony and announcements was crystal clear, allowing every guest to feel completely connected to the moment. Not one issue with the mics cutting out and not a single guest reported not being able to hear- and it was an out door ceremony which in my experience at previous weddings is always sub par, but Jordan absolutely heard us when we explained the importance for our guests to hear the ceremony and he delivered.
When it came to the reception and dance floor, Jordan absolutely blew us away! He knew exactly how to read the crowd, kept the momentum going, and had everyone up and dancing all night long. The energy was electric, and so many of our guests commented on how incredible the music and atmosphere were. Every single transition was flawless and our dance floor was packed!
Jordan went above and beyond to make our vision come to life and make our wedding truly unforgettable. Our guests have commented that because of Jordan our wedding would be one talked about for a decade! If you are looking for a DJ and you come across my review - congratulations and look no further because you just found the ultimate DJ who is attentive, talented, and dedicated to making your big day perfect, we cannot recommend Jordan from Blakeley Entertainment highly enough!

One of the most special parts of our day was the ceremony music. Jordan played the hammered dulcimer beautifully and even learned how to play The Office theme song in a wedding style for our processional—which was such a fun, personal touch and something our guests are still talking about.
Throughout the reception, Jordan was engaging with our guests, kept the energy high, and created an atmosphere that was both fun and seamless. He truly listened to our music preferences and delivered exactly what we hoped for and more. We received so many compliments from our guests about the music and the overall vibe of the day.

our wedding day. From there, he had set up a couple of quick phone calls to make sure he had all the details to make sure our day went perfectly. His attention to detail, passion for music, and just pure talent as a musician makes him a very unique DJ in our eyes. He played a huge part in keeping our day on schedule, provided all of his state-of-the-art equipment for our outdoor ceremony (which worked flawlessly), and kept over 100 people on the dance floor until the very end (midnight). Entertainment & Food are two things that can make or break a wedding experience for not only the couple, but also the guests. The number one thing that people have talked to us about after our wedding day is how good and fun our DJ was! (Not kidding)
If you’re open to it, I would highly recommend having him play the dulcimer at any point throughout your special day. It is an absolutely beautiful instrument. He went as far as learning a brand new song that I had made for my wife weeks before the wedding to walk down the aisle to. He knocked it out of the park.
I also would highly recommend giving him some freedom as he is not your typical plug in a playlist and let the playlist go song-by-song. While we did have a list of must-plays, we also gave a him a large playlist that covered the different genres and artists that we like and gave him the freedom to be a true DJ and he absolutely nailed it. You made our special day even more special and we appreciate you more than you know. If you’re looking for a DJ, look no further. He is worth every penny and more.

None of these are true of DJ Blakely. The dance floor was almost constantly full, and when it wasn't, it only lasted for a song before song choices were adjusted to fit the guests. He was open to requests, and was incredibly professional, and easy to work with from those that I have spoken to that have worked with him, one of which was at my suggestion. He was great with the reception also. Kept it low key during eating, played some games that were actually fun and made for a good laugh. Just a great experience all the way around, and I would highly recommend DJ Blakely to anyone that asks, and have, which is the greatest praise I could give a DJ.
