I purchased a delicious chocolate gourmet cake for my husband 60th birthday. He was thrilled. He loves chocolate and the cake did not disappoint.
I wanted to show everyone how Laura from Divine Delicacies handles business. She is disrespectful and refused to pay $30 for balloons we did for her birthday. They charge $$$ for c...
akes but couldn't pay us $30 for work we did for them even after giving her $165 worth of free things. I attached a link where you can view the screen shots of the messages she sent to us via Instagram.

My wedding cake was dazzling, spectacular, tall, and tasted delicious! A dream come true! My venue (DoubleTree Biscayne Bay), included a fondant cake from local vendors and when I ...
saw they didn't have Divine Delicacies on their list I persuaded them to permanently include them because Divine Delicacies is truly amazing and every Miami bride deserves the very best (you're welcome future brides).
After being approved we went for the tasting and in comparison to all other famous vendors in town that I tried (Todo Dulce, Ana Paz, Sweet Art by Lucila, and Edda Cakes), they stood out as the best in flavor, in presence, design, and professionalism. From the fabulous atmosphere at their shop with their gorgeous flower wall and cleanliness, to the unique cake flavors and fillings offered. Laura, the owner, was always a pleasure to deal with. Our cake arrived on time to the venue as promised. I had paid for a few upgrades such as lifters that make the cake look taller and more elegant (the taller the cake, the happier the couple will be), a brooch for the cake bow, and 2 rows of swarovski crystals around every tier to make it dazzle. I was in awe when I walked into the ballroom and saw our wedding cake! As a surprise Laura had gifted us the exquisite sugar flowers as our cake topper as a wedding gift and an extra row of crystals in addition to having previously gifted us the filling of our choice for the cake. Our cake was 4 tiers tall, alternating scrumptious layers of dulce leche & nutella, all fondant with a beautiful lace top, truly a dream come true! I am forever grateful to Laura & the Divine Delicacies team for making my day so special. No photo will do this cake justice! I can't wait till our 1yr anniversary to have our top tier! Our wedding cake was indeed divine!!!
My cake was beautiful and tasted GREAT. Can't imagine a better vendor to have created my dream wedding cake. Thank you!
With high expectations for the "best cakes in South Florida", we were completely disappointed. Our reception package with the Westin Colonnade included a cake from Ana Paz, Etta's,...
or Divine Delicacies. Knowing the reputation DD had for their spectacular cakes and their fame within professional athletes and celebrities, we chose them. Because what was included in the package was pretty basic, we asked for a bunch of "upgrades" that we paid extra for: two different flavors, a crystal and pearl ribbon around each tier, crystal-surrounded pearls for the top tier, special piping, and a bow with a brooch. We actually wanted an exact cake that was in the showroom, just replacing the argyle tiers with the special piping. Two days prior to the wedding, I received a phone call saying that our order sheet got wet, to please send a picture of the piping we wanted, so I did. Come wedding day, we were underwhelmed with the cake, but didn't really look into it as we were obviously caught up in the joy of celebrating our marriage. When I finally got a chance to look through our pictures a few months later, I broke down when I saw what the cake actually looked like.
1. It had the wrong ribbon wrapped around each tier (a crappy all-pearl ribbon that looked like it was from the dollar store, not the $200 crystal and pearl ribbon we paid for), and it wasn't even put on straight.
2. The piping was incomplete. You could see they began to do it correctly where the bow began, but then they just did the bare minimum throughout the rest of the cake.
3. They didn't use the crystal-surrounded pearls for the top-tier, instead they used those silver sugar pearls that you can buy at a grocery store, and half of the tier didn't even have any on it.
Now the kicker...it's been four months of calling, emailing, and showing up to the shop demanding to speak to the owner, and the owner has never gotten back to me. We found the shop has a rating of an F with the BBB, and we now know why. We are now having to consult with our attorney in regards to the legal action we can take to be refunded our money for the incorrect cake.
Cakes was beautiful and tasted great
Perfect for any occasion, no one thought the buttercream was actual butter cream they thought it was fondant, just with hat you can say they are the best!
I had been to so many wedding where the cake was really pretty but tasted awful. I love desserts so I really wanted my cake to be tasty but still be pretty. My fiance's mother is a...
baker and offered to make the cake, but we didn't want her to stress over this. So we really needed to find a place she would approve of. Divine Delicacies cake wasn't tasty- it was phenomenal! During the wedding people kept saying how good it was, even now people ask us about the baker. Not only was it delicious, it was stunningly beautiful. I had a very vague idea of what look I was going for. I went through her boos and told her kind of what I liked, and her sketch was more than I could have imagined. When I saw it in person, I can't even tell you how happy I was!! Go Devine delicacies custom Cake!!
I couldn't be happier with the service we received from Divine Delicacies Cakes for our wedding! When looking for our wedding cake vendor we started out pretty discouraged with so...
me unsuccessful appointments.
Meeting Laura was a breath of fresh air! From our first sit down when she gave us more samples than we knew what to do with to hand sketching my wedding cake (yup, I have a full sketch of my wedding cake which is a great little keepsake) I knew we found "our guys."
Being from the South, we also have a tradition of a groom's cake so we tasked Laura not only with the design of the wedding cake (I wanted a 3 tier cake with champagne ruffles & lace overlay...she nailed it) (it's the groom's cake, he gets whatever he wants...).
Both cakes exceeded our expectations & were the talk of our wedding. Not only did they look stunning but they were delicious! The groom's cake was a traditional vanilla rum cake (very moist & flavorful, simple but perfect to balance out all of the icing). My wedding cake was 3 tiers with two being a white red velvet cake and one being a chocolate Godiva cake with rasberry filling ...A-MA-ZING! The "red" velvet still gave you that amazing velvet cake flavor, but there was a lightness to it...more flavorful than traditional wedding cake, but not overwhelming and the chocolate was just decadent. We got the best of both worlds.
Customer service was wonderful...we sent pictures of my wedding dress (she matched the lace on my dress to the lace on the cake) and pictures of my husband's golf bag. Laura was prompt with any questions and the cakes were delivered without a hitch on our big day.
I am still getting compliments on both of the cakes and can't thank Divine Delicacies Cakes enough for their fantastic service!
People are still talking about my wedding cake- Divine Delicacies cakes knocked it completely out-of-the park. I brought her a picture of a beautiful Henna design and the finished ...
product was stunning. The cake was moist and I swear- people could not believe how yummy it was! Several people said they wished there was enough for second servings! I highly, highly recommend Divine Delicacies Custom cakes!
I made an appointment to choose my wedding cake and I was running late, however Laura and her staff graciously tended to my needs. I wasn't one of those brides who didn't know what...
I wanted, I knew exactly what I wanted and Laura delivered. My cake was delivered and set-up beautifully at my wedding venue without delay or problem. I paid what Laura said I would, and I received the cake that Laura promised I would. I am a business owner (caterer) and there are days when late appointments take over the next person's appointment unfairly, and you are a good business owner when you still accommodate both appointments without making either guest being slighted. Laura handles her business and I refer all my clients in need of cakes and any other confectioners to Laura of Divine Delicacies Cakes. Thank you Laura for making my wedding beautiful!! you are a sweetheart!
My cake was gorgeous and yummy! We received lots of compliments.
I wanted to surprise my mother with a renewing of my parent vows. My mother has cancer and this might be their last Anniversary. I have been following this company on Instagram and...
saw amazing cakes. I went to their bakery 2-27-14 I told the girl behind the counter that money was NOT a issue and that this cake has to been amazing and just gorgeous . What I got was a cake that was not even I want a lace look with red ribbons made from Fondant and red roses on the top. The piping was smudge and uneven the cake was square but on Corner was smushed in and finger prints were on the bottom tier. The smaller cake was supposed to have the same design but with 2 gold rings on top but the same thing with the uneven and smudge design and the rings looked my my 6 year old drew them and they had sliver on them and it was just place on the top not the whole ring and the white bleed through. These cakes were just awful . The delivery guy spoke no English and did not understand me when I did not want to except the cakes. I called the bakery immediately and was told that they did not have a recorded of my order so I offered to email them photos and in return I got a email back asking if this was a cake order or I replied with the order number and my information to get to response . It's sad that this had to come to this I had to call my credit to fight the charge.
The cake was part of the package with my venue, so I don't know the base costs, but it was beautiful and delicious! We had lemon cake with raspberry filling. The cake was moist and...
just perfect. We did not want to pay for additional flowers so we just put them on ourselves and it worked out great.
EXCELLENT and BEAUTIFUL!
Loved it
My fiancé and I went for a cake tasting, they were very acomendating, and my cake turned out beautiful!!
My cake was amazing and delicious! Everything I ask for was delivered! Will be using them again and highly recommend them.
They made the process absolutely easy and had no issues of delivery on the day of the wedding. We had vanilla rum cake which was delicious! Our frosting was butter cream. They were...

l and very helpful when we were trying to decide what style and flavors to pick for our wedding cake. We ended up have a vanilla rum cake with dulce de leche filing which was pure heaven! I highly recommend using Divine Delicacies as a wedding cake (or any party) vendor.
My cake was beautiful, it was more than what I envisioned. Thank you......
Cake was delicious and beautiful.
My cake was beatiful and tasted great..but when you go their be prepared to sit and wait...they have 1 girl doing the sit down with you and the place is tiny.
Was excited to use this vendor for my husband's Miami Heat themed cake and was unexpectadly dissapointed, especially since the vendor refers to itself as the "official" custom cake...
ry for the Miami Heat. When I first arrived to pick up the cake, noticed that the white fondant details were smeared against the black fondant and some colors were not blended properly, giving the cake an overall messy look. After pointing out these details to the associate, the cake was taken to the back to be fixed. After waiting an hour for the cake to be fixed in the store, the cake was returned with some of the details fixed, but still had a messy, unsymmetrical look. When I informed them that I could no longer wait for the cake to be further "fixed" in person (because at this point I was running late), they refused to absorb the delivery cost. I requested to speak to the store manager multiple times during my time there, and she refused to come out of the kitchen, and instead sent the sales associate to relay her messages. The sales associate was extremely empathetic and understanding to the situation and truly tried to address the issue to the best of her ability, yet the manager was extremely unprofessional in her unwillingness to address the customer's concern and handle the issue herself. All in all, the taste of the cake was as expected after the fact, yet the customization was sub-par. I left the bakery having paid full price for a cake that I was dissatisfied with the customization!
I LOVED my wedding cake. The staff is great but the only thing I was a bit dissappointed about was that I had called in advance to find out how much crystal banding I needed for 2 ...
rows to use in my 4 tiered cake and they gave me the wrong amount. Therefore, I was only able to have 2 tiers wrapped with the crystal banding. They managed to make it work because at the end I had an AMAZING cake that tasted delicious.
They made exactly what I asked for, and it tasted delicious.
Our bride's and goom's cakes were both absolutely breath-taking... both to the eyes and mouth! They turned out better than we ever would've expected. During our consultation/cake-t...
asting, our consultant really worked with us so that we could get what we wanted within our budget. They made it very clear that they were there to make sure that we were more than happy with what we were getting. Our wedding cake was seriously the best wedding cake I had ever had. They were so moist and fresh. Their designs also turned out so much better than we could have ever imagined! Neither my Wife or I are artists by any means; we're both in accounting if you get my drift. We went into the consultation really not knowing what we wanted, but the consultant really worked with us to come up with the cakes' designs. The designs turned out so AWESOME. We got so many compliments on the taste and designs of our cakes. I'm definitely going to use them for special cakes in the future!
The cake we chose for our wedding looked beautiful when we saw it at our cake tasting appointment and we has been told they were the best. We were disappointed when we saw the cake...
the day of the wedding because it was missing the flowers on the top of the cake that we had paid for by the way. Although we had that disappointment the cake tasted great but it did not make up for the look of the cake. I would recommend but for future references have someone with the picture of your cake present at the venue when they deliver it to make sure it is what you ordered.
My cake was beautiful. It was simple and yet very elegant. I had the cookies and cream cake and everyone loved it.

Thank You Divine!!!
I was so happy when I saw they are on the Holiday Inn's vendor list. Beautiful presentation, great taste, easy to work with. Delivered what was promised.
Their customer service was not good. They nickel & dime. Seem to not value smaller requests because they are used to larger projects. Make you feel insignificant.
I ordered a 2 tiered cake and the picture on the website was completely different than in person. My cake should have been ivory & it looked almost yellow/d. beige. It tasted o...

DD did a great job! I loved my cake and they followed my ideas very well. It even tasted as good as it looked.

am cake from another big name cake shop in Miami and I was extremely disappointed at how the cake looked. My worries were for not as the cake looked so amazing, it was exactly as we had discussed when I ordered the cake and it was delicious. We ordered one tier guava, another coconut and the third carrot. Everyone commented on how delicious the cake was which was very important to us. Thank you Devine Delicacies!!
The cake was exactly what I ordered. It was moist and delicious. So glad I went with this cake maker.

l to work with and completely captured the theme we were going for to compliment our beach wedding. The cake samples were AWESOME and it was difficult to narrow down which flavors we wanted for our 5-tiered wedding cake. She took diligent notes and my wedding invitation, which really encompassed the overall them and colors from my wedding. The staff is incredibly friendly, responsive and flexible. I can honestly say that my husband and I were blown away when we first saw our cake, which was DELICIOUS...we received rave reviews from our guests as well (a few of whom aren't really fans of cake in general!). I couldn't be more pleased and will definitely work with Divine Delicacies Cakes again for other special occasion cakes down the road. I highly recommend Divine Delicacies Cakes to any bride looking for a creative, professional, flexible and cost efficient bakery to create a beautiful masterpiece of a wedding cake!

”Dear Divine Delicacies, I just wanted to send a quick note to thank you for the birthday topsy turvy cake you made for us on Saturday. I wasn't able to see the cake in person but ...
from the picture my daughter sent, it looked INCREDIBLE! She brought me a piece of cake back and I'm waiting non-patiently to eat it later today. From what I've heard, the cake was a hit and the birthday girl was definitely surprised! Thank ya'll so much for doing this last minute and being so nice! I'm looking forward to the birthday cake for my husband. I know he is going to love it.” Cordero Family

and did not even advise until I realize when tasting. Their printer was down could not look at the orchids I wanted for the cake. Ensure me no problems, when I arrived at the venue after the ceremony, realize not the color at all. As my number of guests changed, advised with enough timeframe no refund, called twice never received a call back. GO with people you know!

Ours was a Sunday morning ceremony, early afternoon reception in The Spanish Monastary. The cake arrived on time, in great, pristine condition. In addition, the price was less than the other bakeries as well. :-)
