My husband & I hired Marsha for her planning & vendor coordination services, and she was an absolute DREAM during the entire process! She was so supportive and had so many great su...
ggestions/recommendations to share throughout the entire planning process- I truly don’t know what I would have done without her ❤️. The task of shopping for/comparing quotes from each major wedding vendor can be super daunting and weighing the costs vs. benefits of each should not a decision to be taken lightly. However, I can personally say that A.) you will NOT be disappointed by investing in Distinctly Yours as your professional event planner, and B.) you will be SO grateful to have Marsha’s experience, knowledge, & problem solving skills/creativity in the typical ways you’d expect from a professional planning service, and also when the unthinkable happens (which seems to inevitably happen to everyone whose just trying to plan-ya know- the most important day of their lives lol).
If you’re A.) comparing proposals between Distinctly Yours and other planning services but are struggling with who would be the best fit or B.) are on the fence about hiring a professional wedding planner at all, please take this as your sign to hire Marsha/her staff. You will not regret it.
We are too lucky to have found Marsha and Distinctly Yours for our wedding! From the very first meeting it was clear her intent to help our wedding be just what we wanted it to be ...
and she went full on to make that happen with her magic. The professionalism, knowledge of the industry and personal attention just can't be beat. The icing on the cake is that Marsha is the kindest and has a great heart. We so enjoyed every single meeting we had! Even as an organized person, I benefitted tremendously from working with Distinctly Yours. The gift of taking the stress off, especially the day before and day of the wedding--having Marsha to have everyone ask questions to instead of turning to us on our day--was absolutely incredible. Working with them is one of the best decisions we made and I'd tell any future couple to just do it!
Distinctly Yours went above and beyond to make our day and the months leading up to the wedding much smoother. I never thought a wedding planner/coordinator was needed and consider...
ed it a luxury but Distinctly Yours was a must! Alex planned my entire wedding weekend timeline down to the minute and brought up a lot of things that I would've never thought about. She even handed out little schedules for our entire bridal party at the rehearsal dinner. She also handled a lot of "morning of" tasks that allowed myself and my bridesmaids to just enjoy the morning without stressing including picking up lunch for the entire bridal party, taking care of vendors showing up to the venue, pinning boutineers on the groom/groomsmen/dads, turning on candles and coordinating room changeovers between the ceremony and reception. We received many compliments from our guests on how perfect everything turned out and how smooth the day was.
Marsha is fantastic! Highly Recommend!!

e, stress free experience. She frequently checked in with me during the wedding day making sure I was aware of any new timeline changes and answering all my questions.
Marcia even included me in a separate vendor table ensuring that I received dinner and had a place to sit which is much appreciate after a long day of shooting! If you’re looking for a kind, organized, professional planner, hire Marcia asap :)
Wow, I cannot recommend Marsha enough! She was an absolute pleasure to work with. Marsha helped me stay organized, answered my (many) questions throughout the entire process, gave ...
great advice, and was so unbelievably friendly. She definitely helped us feel prepared for the big day, even though we were planning out of state. Any time we weren't sure about something, our first thought was to ask Marsha. She has so much experience with weddings, it seemed like she was prepared for anything! Our wedding went more smoothly than I could have possibly imagined, and I know that is largely due to her help and guidance. I didn't even realize how much she was doing behind-the-scenes during our wedding day, but not only did she help make sure I was feeling calm (including helping me get rid of a dress stain), but she also made sure all of the decorations were taken down at the ceremony and reception venues. I didn't have to worry about any of it! I cannot thank her enough for all of her help and guidance. She is a wonderful wedding planner!
I hired Marsha for a wedding day of coordinator and she was fantastic! She kept me on track, organized, and calm thougout the months leading up to my wedding. She was professional,...
organized and very responsive. She was always willing to give advice and help out. During the planning process we got together a few times and she was always prepared for meetings and provided really great planning tools to help me stay on task. During the wedding weekend of she was always their for assistance and made my life so much easier. I didn't have to worry about anything the day of! My husband and I agree she was one of the best "purchases" we made for the wedding. Thank you Marsha for making it great!
